Harry Caray's Italian Steakhouse - Lombard
The third Harry Caray’s Italian Steakhouse outpost opened in Lombard located in the new Westin Lombard Yorktown Center. Harry Caray's Lombard brings the same friendly confines and award-winning Italian Steakhouse cuisine from the legendary downtown location to Chicago's Western Suburbs. Designated the Official Home Plate of the Chicago Cubs, Harry Caray's specializes in the finest prime, aged steaks and chops and classic Italian cuisine. The friendly, energetic atmosphere embodies the amiable personality of the restaurant's namesake. The dark mahogany, mosaic floor, white-jacketed servers, white tablecloths and a veritable museum of baseball history combine to create a warm and casual elegance.

"This location is in the Westin Hotel near the Yorktown Mall. The spacious bar room is a great place to watch sports. Everything is very good...from the accommodating service to the top shelf wines and spirits, and, of course, the food. We were celebrating our anniversary and chose the Surf and Turf. No rigid menu choices here. We were each allowed to select our own salad, surf, and turf, with oversized sides and dessert. I also had a glass of wine, which I selected from some nice choices (great full list as well). Just go...you won't be disappointed."

"Typically do brunches for Mother's Day, but this time did dinner. Harry's food was delicious. Can also order from the seafood menu at Holy Mackeral, which one of our party of 5 did. Petite Filet special my wife ordered was exceptional. Chicken Vesuvio was classic. Steaks and prime rib were excellent. Typical Italian place, a little noisy."

"Fair selection. Poor layout for a buffet brunch---much too intrusive to have the food in the back, requiring everyone near the front to walk past almost every table--repeatedly. Limited menu for the price--some items were less than quality. Never asked to replenish coffee or beverages. All in all---will not be back, sorry to say."

"The first hour we were there the service was fairly good the last half hour the waitress and wait staff got lost. I waited to put in my dessert order and waited for a check. They charged me 18% because we had six people so it is hard to judge the service with my tipping. Their prices are quite high and doesn't match the food or the service. Doesn't come close to Gibson's or Capital Grille enough though they Charge about the same."

"We go here every year for Easter brunch. This year they seemed a little slow on replenishing the different dishes and/or I just had bad luck. Seemed just after I'd take the very last portion which was always cold, they'd come and replenish. Also, we always avoid the shrimp. They're large and uncleaned. Yuck. When the food is hot and plentiful, it's a great place!!!"

"We chose this restaurant for date night and what a wonderful experience. The food was absolutely fabulous. The 16 oz new york strip was cooked perfectly and the lamb chops just melted in your mouth. It was very quiet for a Friday night. It was a mixed group of people. There were several groups from the convention in the hotel, a family with small children, groups of couples and intimate dates. This place is perfect for everyone. I will say the price was a little steep, but if you are a foodie, you know you get what you pay for. It is definitely worth every penny! The leftovers taste even better the next day! The service was also impeccable. The staff was knowledgeable of all the products and we received our food in a timely manner."

"This was our first visit to this Harry Caray's. Parking is a little tricky: I recommend the valet parking, which we didn't use. We asked for a quiet place and were given a table in a small room that was super quiet and nice. The service was impeccable: helpful but never intrusive. We ordered the surf and turf special for two, which included dessert. Everything was delicious and the food was more than abundant (we brought home enough to have another meal entirely). They also have a great selection of wine and the desserts (key lime pie and a chocolate cake) were excellent. For us this is a special occasion restaurant as the prices reflect the very high value and quality- but it's worth it! Our compliments to the chef and staff."

"Came to Harry Caray's on a date. Luckily I had engaging company, because the service was slow. This was disappointing because they didn't appear to be busy. We enjoyed the shrimp cocktail, crab cake and filet. I ordered a crab and gorgonzola stuffed fish from the "Holy Mackerel" menu that was not very hot when it arrived, and the fish was overwhelmed by the gorgonzola. There was hardly and crab in it at all. Overall I expected more from this restaurant on the fine dining side, however their bar and burger specials will keep me coming back."
