"Service was odd at best, though friendly. Multiple parts of our order was misheard, my cocktail and the spinach salads my husband and I ordered. We repeated the order for the cocktail, skipped the spinach salad but confirmed we would not be charged for it. The table was cleared in a somewhat messy way."

"I come to this restaurant all the time for their variety of Indian food offerings. They aren't always consistent, but when they're good, they're unbelievable. I highly recommend this to any one who enjoys Indian food and especially to someone who has never tried or tends to be averse to the palette."

"We had not been to Kashmir in a few years and always enjoyed it there. Needing to shake up our usual Indian restaurant we decided to re-visit. Most of the food was very good, however the chickpea dish was salty and we did not realize how salty until later when we were parched. There was not an abundance of chicken in the entree and the sauce was very rich with cream. The service was very good and friendly. Oh and the onion naan was fabulous!"

"Having had Chicken Tikka really well prepared at numerous local Indian restaurants in NJ for many years, we were shocked to find how tastless the preparation was at this Boston restaurant. It was nearly devoid of any flavor. As if they forgot, or had little time, to properly marinate the chicken prior to cooking. Service was fine, but it was lacking in ambiance."

"Truly some of the best Indian food I've had in the city of Boston. I also enjoyed the location and the seating. The wait staff was very pleasant and courteous. The only poor comment I can make is that service was slow at times. I even observed one table get up and pour their own water when they were frustrated by their inability to get the attention of the wait staff. While service was slow, I would guess it added a half hour to my dining experience over all. All in all, I would highly recommend this restaurant--but just budget a little more time in for lunch and dinner."

"This was our second visit and though both times we used vouchers, they were not the deciding factors behind our strongly positive experiences. The staff are attentive and friendly, the food is excellent. Summertime patio seating Newbury Street is always a winner, though our meal in February was just as extraordinary. We will be back, with or without a voucher. I confidently recommend Kashmir to family and friends visiting the area."

"I got my reservation through OpenTable, but they weren't busy at all at 4:30pm on a Saturday. The food came quickly and the server was very respectful. We were promptly give a free mango smoothie for checking in on Foursquare. Im definitely planning on going back again soon!"
