"We had an 8:00 reservation.
I checked in and we got a drink from the bar. Bartender wasn't so friendly. Our table took only about 10 minutes.
Service was good. Food was very good. I recommend the four cheese ravioli with plum tomatoes and cauliflower. I absolutely loved it. Dessert was good, as well.
We were seated in the second dining room to the right. It was my first time there. I would have preferred to have been seated in the main room because I liked the ambience better.
I will return :)"

"My husband and I had a great dinner at George Martin. I had the steak and cake,and my husband had the steak with shrimp and scallop. Everything was fine. We also had a bottle of Kendall.

"Disclosure: this is our favorite neighborhood restaurant and we are regulars. The chef puts together creative dishes, combining flavors in surprising ways. Recommendations: short rib tacos, mustard and pretzel crusted salmon, butternut squash ravioli (not always on the menu), and both their chopped salads. "For purists," as they say on their menu, they offer excellent, unadorned steaks with vegetables of your choice. GM, please keep the classics while continuing to offer innovative dishes! If you come for Restaurant Week, GM's does not skimp, and their prix-fixe menus in winter are an excellent buy. Plus, great service and atmosphere."

"I go back to George Martin's cause the food is consistently tasty but there are some things I just cannot overlook. First - the hostesses look as if they are in pain. No smiles and no greetings but more of a stare. Then there is a darkness in the back of this place. You can barely see your food let alone your companion. Our waitress was lovely, however, waiting for dishes can be indeterminate! Again once you receive your food all is forgiven. The food is good and fresh and also plentiful. We went restaurant week and they still gave nice portions for each dish - including the dessert. Had I seen better perhaps I would have noticed more flaws. But overall I would go back. Just not often"

"Thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. From service to food all was right on point. The tuna app was seared perfectly, and our chili pop shrimp was the perfect combination of sweet & spicy with a slightly crunchy texture. For entrees my girlfriend had the salmon with braised cabbage & asparagus which she loved, and I had the delicious braised short ribs, cooked to perfection, I didn't even need a knife to cut through it. We'll defintly go back for more, can't wait for the new spring menu."

"We were at the Madison Theater at Molloy College for the matinee performance and then came to George Martin for an early dinner. Had a nice booth, enjoyed our meal, had good service and just a very enjoyable visit. Also enjoyed coupon for a complimentary dessert that came with our theater tickets. That inspired the rest of the group to order dessert too and it was a nice way to end a great meal. We really always love George Martin!"

"We spent clost to $300,4 adults,ordering 2 apps, 4 main dishes and drinks....and a dessert for the birthday boy. Did not love my $28 tuna special, no character and certainly no justifying the price tag!! Apetizers were nice, salad was enjoyed by all of us and the bread basket and dips were great. We each had great drinks.
Over all, we would not rush back to this resturant for two reasons. The parking was terrible,valet parking on a Saturday night is essential...and the prices are too high for quality of main dish and specials. There was nothing memorable about the menu or food. We had fun with our friends, were not hurried out after paying, which was very polite but a tweaking of the menu and prices might be in order for us to revisit."

"I think this may be the best restaurant in that RVC Train Station - Movie Theater Area, very NYC vibe and solid service. Steaks are OK, but would go back for a something other next time. Martinis very good there - kind of place they make them right."

"Came with my family for my birthday and everything was amazing! The managers came over and greeted everyone, or waiter was very knowledge and friendly and the food was perfect. The dessert was fantastic I will definitely be coming back very soon, will recommend ! :)"

"Our whole party had a great time. I love that this place is busy on any night of the week that I've been here. My server was thoughtful and knowledgable about the preparations of the specials that we inquired about. Also, our fish was so fresh. I know that we'll be back for years to come. It's nice having a neighborhood place where they remember your face and tell you that it's nice to see you again."

"We felt it it was overrated. Food is just OK. The hostess was not friendly at all. Service was fine. For this kind of money there are plenty of other places that make you feel welcomed and serve better food."
