"We were here on a Saturday for lunch. It's was a "girl's lunch", celebrating a birthday of one of the girls. (The "girls", BTW, are 50+ years old.) We enjoyed outstanding, attentive service. We'd heard the chef & the menu had changed, and were a little apprehensive, but it turns out our fears were for naught. The food is better than ever, and some of our "favorites" from the old menu (like tapenade) have been retained and are "held over" onto the current menu. The birthday girl enjoyed the free dessert which was almost too pretty to eat, but she shared it with us and it was definitely too tasty to pass up!"

"Our reservation was made on line. There was no mention service at !:00 would be a buffet and obviously no fixed price was given. We tried to bring up a menu on your website, but none was available. We have always enjoyed your menu offerings and were looking forward to that. The server suggested that we take a look at the buffet set-up or a "plate could probably be fixed for us". When asked about drinks, my husband asked for a glass of white Zinfandel. He was told this was not available, but she suggested a comparable wine - a wine menu was not offered. Our water glasses were not refilled. We prepared to go to the dessert table. As our server picked up the dinner plates she said, "don't you want to keep your fork?" instead of new one"

"It had been almost a year since we last visited Mediterrano. They have consistently impressed us with their attention to detail and excellent service as well as incredibly tasty food. It was nice to see a special Kid's menu this time. The server was especially attentive to their needs, making sure to bring out their food first and then upon our request to have smaller portions of ice cream for the kids, he offered to only charge us for two ice creams instead of 3. The understand your needs before you even ask! Everything was cooked perfectly."

"I was disappointed with my seating. I ask for a booth on the left side however, the letft side was closed so they sat my guest on the right side at a table for two. My guest arrived before me but ,he is a 6'6 , 375lb defensive professional football player and he looked totally ridiculous sitting at a table for two when there was booths available on the right side.. I was embarrested for him and immediately ask if we could be moved to one of the three booths vacant ont the right side. I understand that open table request can't ways be accomadated but let be a little more sensitive to the guest when you have the a availability ."

"We had international guests, from the UK and Denmark, so we wanted a restaurant that would impress. From the wine list, to the excellent small plates, to the seafood and pasta entrees, everything was perfect. My favorites were the dates with chorizo sausage and the sea scallops. The waiter was attentive, the presentation on the plates was beautiful, and the cadence of the meal was perfect. I have eaten at Ann Arbor's best restaurants, and frankly Mediterrano equalled the best."

"Had Lamb chops and they were prepared perfectly medium rare. Only complaint we would have about this place is that the veggies and potatoes that they give with your main entree, while well prepared, are awfully small portion sizes. Wine list is very good both in value and quality. The staff service here is always excellent which is a refreshing change from many restaurants in Ann Arbor."

"We have eaten Mediterrano several times previously and really enjoyed the menu. Lately, it seems that the dinner menu has lost much of it Mediterranean "taste" and flavors. The appetizer menu seems untouched and still has some great choices. My wife actually just chose off the appetizer menu with a salad. My entree, while decent wasn't great. The map on the wall shows all sorts of places in the Mediterranean Sea - the flavors used to come from all over, North Africa, Lebanon, etc but now seem much more "American" and plain.
Service was great and the ambiance was unchanged - quiet but it was a Monday night."

"I have frequented this restaurant since moving to Ann Arbor, and have enjoyed a few wine tasting events here. This last visit was a small group getting together for a glass of wine and appetizers after work. The food is consistently excellent at Mediterrano. You can find a private corner for more confidential conversation. Take a bottle of their olive oil home!"

"Food is consistently good. Restaurant is a good spot for romantic meal or a quiet place for business luncheon. Service consistently good. Parking is very convenient and restaurant is a short distance from Briarwood Mall if you want to do some shopping and then have a good lunch or dinner. Nothing good to eat in the mall nor the outlots which feature chains - go to this place instead for a good meal. Its a place we like to go to when celebrating a family occasion."
