"I'm going to miss Ocean's Ave. I am actually closer to the Water Grill in downtown, but I like this menu better when it comes to the preparation of the Peruvian scallops. I also love their lobster taquitos. I hope the menu isn't exactly the same at both locations."

"We were in town for a meeting and wanted an iconic dining experience. We selected the restaurant for the oyster selection and location. The oyster sampler we chose was very good. The entre's were mixed - one was excellent the other was only so-so. Both seserts were very good. Service was acceptable."

"The menu had a lot of choices and they seemed willing to prepare the fish anyway you wanted it. I had the crab cakes which was a generous portion and my fellow diners had mahi mahi and sea bass. All of us were satisfied with our choices and the service was attentive and informed. The location is perfect, right across the street from Santa Monica Beach and steps to the pier."

below acceptable standards. The waitress was always late with beverages, and the order
of the food presented was off (they brought the desert but not the coffee; we waiting for our drinks till after the food was delivered--not the way you enjoy a fine expensive meal, as this is supposed to be a cut above, as the prices reflect that.
