"Overall pretty good food. Calamari appetizer a bit soggy and oily and undercooked. Salads and dressing excellent. Main course was prepared ok, however wife's prime rib had more fat left on it than meat. One issue is chipped dishes, glasses cups, etc. I had a chipped drinking glass, a chipped plate and a chipped creamer. When I brought that to the attention of the server she said the management would not let her remove them from service. For the prices this restaurant charges this is unacceptable."

"We found this restaurant a delight. Wonderful food! The waiter gave us a heads up that with it being prom night the service might be a little slow. That being said, we received wonderful service and our food came out promptly. Drinks were good and the food amazing. We all had fish entrees and love them all. We will definitely visit again."

"The food was very good but service was slow. Our reservation was on a Thursday night and the restaurant was not busy. However it took over an hour to get our entree. The trigger fish special came with scallops and shrimp, but only 2 of each. Disappointing for the "market value" of the dish."

"We went for my wife's birthday because this is her favorite restaurant, and as always, everything was excellent! We both had the fillet mignon and mashed potatoes. The wine was excellent. We tried a usually expensive bottle of wine because it was half price off all bottles of wine this particular evening. We will certainly be returning soon. Sullivan's is always the first place we send friends from out of town whether for lunch or romantic dinner."

"We love, love Sullivans. The food is fantastic. The service is outstanding. The atmosphere is unmatched. I happened to pick an entree that I did not personally like. I would recommend this restaurant particularly for anyone who enjoys fresh food prepared by expert chefs."

"The food was over seasoned and over priced for the quality. The tables were cleaned with a strong smelling cleaner everytime people left, leaving the restaraunt smelling more like a hospital. I was really disappointed and would not return."

"The cuisine was great conceptually. It was overcooked an tougher than I would expect for the price. If you have a high end place like that I would expect a little better quality controll. The service was excellent, as was the ambiance. Like I said if it would have been executed correctly the food would have been tremendous. Evey one has a bad day so I would give it another shot."

"To start, we had reservations but had to wait 20 minutes though there were several empty tables. Then, our waiter kept wiping his runny nose with his hand! Our salads were nothing but mixed greens with a gloppy congealed dressing. My pasta dish was minus the key ingredient bacon carbonara, mostly just fetuccine & sauce w/few mushrooms.
We're from Greenville and thought we'd try a restaurant a short drive away, but we'll never return to Sullivan's Grill. Truly awful restaurant!"

"When we went to Sullivan's we had read great things about it. I went hoping for the best, what I got was less than that. Let me start with the bad.
1. Don't go expecting to be seated right away even when you have a reservation. we waited 15 minutes. 2. The table we sat at SHOULD NOT have existed. It was literally 3 feet from the front check in counter, right in front of the front door it was horrible! All that being said, the food was AMAZING and the servers were competent... I give it a three."

"Not the quality of food you would expect from this priced restaurant. Wonderful cakes though. The upstairs is a terrible atmosphere. Empty walls and nasty carpet. Tried it. Won't be back."

"We ate dessert there and from the moment we walked in I loved it! It is so my type of restaurant. Because of the service, the kindness, and the food we will be back for dinner. Thanks so much."

"This was our first visit. The 13 oz. Ribeye was a good choice for an entre. The Pork chop stuffed with goat cheese (What is it with the goat cheese? It seemed as though every other item was stuffed with goat cheese). The chops were tasteless and the goat cheese did not improve the experience. Perhaps the seafood is the better choice. Your mileage may vary."

"My family chose this restaurant for my brother's birthday. It was obvious the waitress had too many tables and the manager should have seen she was struggling to keep up with all of her tables. She barely was able to check up on us and it took an hour and a half to get our food and the food did not come out all at one time. My brother's filet was cooked well done and he ordered it medium. When the waitress came around to fill up the water glasses, she passed over my husband's glass twice, he finally had to get up and fill his own glass. We had to practically beg our waitress for a dessert menu, she read them off to us (long list). My red velvet cake was very dry! I would not recommend this restaurant for a large party!"
