"Simply everything was great. The Shrimp Marinara has a great rich tomato flavor backed up with a little heat. They bring chili flake to add, but you don't need it. It's just the right amount to let you know it's there without taking over. My wife had the vodka penne which was cheesy and creamy. You have to get the pizzetta every time you go. Nice thin crust with a little bit of chew, great olive oil buttery flavor with the sharpness of the parmesan cheese and the roasted garlic that spreads like butter!"

"Excellent service and excellent food quality. Ordered one of the dinner specials (8 oz. filet), which was excellent but not worth the price tag. Music playing in restaurant was odd and louder than a dinner crowd would normally expect, especially for the type of music that was playing."

"First time in Columbus, visiting for Avett Bros show over Memorial Day. Looked for a restaurant for my better half and I to enjoy. Gorgeous atmosphere, though the tables were tight up against one another. My chair kept touching the back of my neighbor's. No big deal - neither of us were concerned. BF and I got the tenderloin after our waiter, Ben, shared that it had been awarded "Best Steak in Columbus". One of the best steaks I ever had! Ben was great. So very knowledgeable about the menu items & details behind them. Antipasto was out of this world too. Only complaint: there could be more wines by the glass. We elected to drink liquor due to lack of wine selection. When we come back to Columbus we will definitely visit Martini again!"

"With the windows open to High Street traffic, and the bar packed, the noise level was more than "energetic"; it was extremely loud. Conversation was nearly impossible without yelling across the table. The hostess was very willing to re-seat us. Food is good; service is friendly and fast."

"Simply the best restaurant we have eaten at in Columbus. Took my wife there for a Mother's Day Brunch and ate from the regular menu and SO glad we did. Everything was just fantastic. My wife has already said this is where she wants to go for her birthday. We had the panzella salad and panzenetta which were both great balances of sweet, salty, crunchy and soft textures. Forget the name of my dish but it was pasta with shrimp in a spicy tomato sauce. It was just the right balance of heat. I never even thought about needing any salt or pepper because it was all simply seasoned perfectly."

"My family was celebrating our daughter's graduation from grad school and wanted a special night. We had heard about Martini's so we decided to try it. It was outstanding. First Class. Our waiter was exceptional, guiding us along the menu and giving us great suggestions. And his knowledge of the wine menu was excellent, suggesting a perfect wine. I can't wait to head back to Columbus for another celebration so we can go back to Martini's."

"While this is one of our favorite restaurants in Columbus, they also seem to be known for bachelorette parties. On this particular night there were 2 with one of the tables totally out of hand. They only thing I can say is that I witnessed 2 tables walk out, one relocated and our table and the one beside of us applauded when this table left. Why the server kept serving them is beyond me (hope they weren't driving) and why would the manager not step in and ask them to try to lower their SCREAMS."

"Martini's is one of my favorite places to dine downtown. I had a 5pm reservation for 2 on a Tuesday and the restaurant was not busy. We were originally seated at a 2 person booth but I immediately asked to be moved as it was way too small. We dined at a 4 top table in the upper level that looks over the restaurant. I have been at Martini’s later in the evening and it can get very loud, but on this occasion the volume was okay. The food was of course wonderful, I had the chicken carbanara which is my usual and my guest had the filet. The Black Cherry Manhattan keeps me coming back. Our server was a little sloppy when pouring our drinks at the table (splashing out everywhere) but that is my only complaint about this visit. Overall very good"

"Way to loud. The waiter messed up our order twice because he couldn't hear. Every table needed to speak louder than the next just to be heard. Good food, bad experience. I won't go back!"

"Great atmosphere, great service and great menu!!!
Everything on the menu and described by our server sounded incredible.
All of the items we chose were very good but are also things I probably
would not order again. The homemade mozzarella was too stringy instead of soft and spreadable,the lamb dish - the sauce was reduced and so thick it became sweet and too rich,
the steak was perfectly cooked but was over powered by the sauce making it also just
too rich. The tuna was cooked perfectly and presented beautifully but needed more
flavorful accompaniments. Yes, I am being picky and we will go back and try different
dishes now knowing the style of the kitchen. The service was outstanding and I would recommend this place to friend"

"I chose this restaurant from this site and hoped for the best and the best I got. It was just what I was looking for to celebrate a birthday with friends. Our waitress was awesome and the food was terrific. Even the drinks were top notch. Match that with a great atmosphere and it was an overall perfect experience."

"This restaurant had a lot of younger, very good looking people in it. The ambiance was nice,but very loud. Our waitress was great.
We started off with martini's, the peach one was really good.
I had gotten a beet salad which wasn't done very well. The only flavor in the salad was the beets which were cut quite large thus overpowering any other flavor. The salad had a little bit of arugula under and some soft cheese on the side. I love beet salads but this was not a very good one. I had also gotten the scallops, 2 scallops for $15 which is a little high. They were a bit chewy and the puree underneath had no flavor.
Given how many great restaurants Columbus has, I likely won't return."

"Obviously a great place for a martini -- many very creative and interesting combinations on the martini menu. One of my friends had a some sort of "manhattan" martini garnished with dried cherries...it was fantastic.
The house made mozzarella was excellent. It was served with toast, basil pesto and dried tomatoes -- great take on the classic!"

"Our server Grant was wonderful and very helpful, although he seemed a bit overwhelmed with a large party next to us, so service was slow, but overall very good. He was very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu, which we appreciated for our first time there.
Our only issue was portion sizes relative to price. The menu is not specific on size and the sea scallop appetizer, which consisted of two scallops and cost $15, left us disappointed. The food here was absolutely delicious, it just did not seem like an appropriate price for such small plates."

"My husband and I had a wonderful dinner! Service was exceptional - our server ( I wish I remembered her name) was informative and well versed on the menu and wine list. The beets were extraordinary, the Lamb Papadelle was succulent and it was all washed down by a bright Chianti.
