"I had the the seafood platter appetizer stocked full of oysters, longneck clams, crab, shrimp, and of course lobster. Oysters shrimp and lobster were all at a 5 star level. Clams were about a 4 star level not shucked well had to do a lot of work to get all the meat. Lastly the crab meat was a little lacking in flavor but it could just be that I'm a west coast guy and we get amazing crab in SF.
For the main course I got a the grilled seabass which was cooked perfectly. My counterpart got pan seared halibut cheeks which were the daily special. Both dishes were extremely well prepared and were seasoned well without overpowering the natural flavor of the fish.. Definitely recommend this restaurant"

"Although the food is always the best, the pace of this place is anything but relaxing. The wait staff are the most efficient I have ever seen in a restaurant. They are clearly motivated to keep things moving at breakneck speed. The food is fabulous and I would definitely go back but not if I want a calm, relaxing or romantic evening out."

"Once again the Atlantic Fish Company didn’t disappoint. I have been enjoying this restaurant for over 15 years.

"I had a reservation on Saturday for outside seating (I specially made a request because we were celebrating a 60th b-day). When we arrived the hostess did not seat us outside and when we questioned about the table that was open outside and that I had made a request for table outside he mad-up an excess that was a reservation for that table and when I questioned that I had made reservation for outside table, he did not know what to say. He walked away and when he returned stated that if we wanted to wait for an outside table he would seat us. I found it extremely rude that he gave the table to another party (that were there after us) and did not accommodate my request."

"I can't believe I've waited this long to go to Atlantic Fish. Great experience from start to finish - we were seated quickly for our reservation, had a great and attentive waiter and the food was so delectable. I had the chilean sea bass and it was perfect; literally. So perfect that I"m hungry for it again now. My dining companion had the shrimp and scallop entree and said it was excellent. I don't think we left anything on our plates - very rare! Already looking forward to my next visit, which will be soon."

"We got a reservation for 9 pm which is later than we would normally eat but it was well worth the wait. The restaurant was very busy with people waiting for tables to empty. The food was delicious and it's easy to see why it is so popular. The staff were attentive and good humoured and we hope to return before our Boston holiday is over."

"The food was very good and we all had a great meal. The only complaint I have is that they seemed to rush us a bit too much between courses. We had a couple appetizers plus clam chowder, and they kept coming back to try and clear the plates before we were finished and even ended up taking away the sauce we were using to dip our calamari in before we were done. I understand it is a busy place, but it's not like we were being slow. Other than that, our experience was good and we would go back."

"Mother's Day seemed like the the perfect occasion to dine at the Atlantic Fish. We also wanted to help out businesses affected by the senseless Marathon bombings and keep them Boston Strong. The decor of the Atlantic Fish is beautiful; nautical design with the craftmanship of a elegant yacht. However, it is the food and service that stands out. The seafood selection is wonderful and the variety of wine and cocktails is outstanding. Requested Shrimp Fra Diavolo (not on the menu as a standalone item, they do have a seafood Fra Diavolo) and it was delicious...light and spicy. My family truly enjoyed their meals of baked haddock in garlic bread crumbs and crab cakes. Best, however, was Shawn our waiter...outstanding service! Will be back soon."

"I ordered the North Atlantic Salmon, pan seared, with a side of baked potato and asparagus. The fish tasted very fresh and was perfectly seasoned. The salmon was melt in your mouth good! The baked potato was soft and the asparagus actually was steamed quiet nicely. I noticed the stalks were very thick and flavorful. For the appetizer, I ordered the Katama Bay Fresh Oysters. I ordered a glass of the 2010 Riesling, "Saint M" Pfalz to go with my meal, which was very good, minus the serving size, which was a little pricey. For desert, we ordered the creme brulee with berries, which was very good as well."

"Loved, loved, loved this place. You feel like a welcome guest here. The seafood is incredibly fresh- so much so that you can smell the sea when the oysters come to the table. Presentation is elegant an enticing, and every item was brought out at a good pace. I never felt rushed. Also, my boyfriend and I shared our entree, and the dish was split in the kitchen without our asking (yay!) and our food arrived at the table looking gorgeous and mouth watering. This place cares about the details. Recommended dishes: oysters, lobster cocktail, Oysters Rockfeller (the best you will ever have!), Crab crusted Haddock, and finish with the Ridiculous Brownie Sundae- definitely big enough for 2."

"My colleague was there to support The Local business after the Marathon bombing. from the lunch menu, the scallops and Tuna was quite good. However, the service was well below average. The waitress obviously did not want to be there, and was doing the minimum to get by. She even took my iced tea away before it was finished, and did not even ask if I was done. First, I thought she was being proactive in refilling it early, but no... It was gone."

"Very good, fresh seafood. I had the blackened mahi mahi, which was perfectly prepared. Crisp, black, and spicy outside, tender and fresh on the inside. Cocktail was good, wine by the glass menu was pretty extensive.
The restaurant loses a few points that really are only a factor of its popularity -- went at 7:45 on a Wednesday night, and it was packed and loud. We were crammed into a small table near a high-traffic area, but you can't really fault a restaurant for trying to maximize their seating capacity.
In a city full of great seafood restaurants, this is a standout."

"I liked this restaurant, although I expected really fabulous seafood and I can't say it was the best I've had. It was certainly good though, and the service was great. The reason I would go back is for the atmosphere - it was very busy and a fun place to be on a weekend night!!"

"The seafood at Atlantic Fish Co was very good. Selection, presentation, temperature were all top-notch and the wine list had something for everyone and every budget. The restaurant was very busy at 7PM on a Thursday night, and our table was ready with our reservations. Our only issue was with our waitress who seemed very disinterested in us as customers and only checked back one time after our food was served. We were never asked if we wanted a second glass of wine with our dinner. With the bombing tragedy happening so close to the restaurant, we were glad they re-opened so quickly and with no hint of the problems outside their door. A must stop for diners in Boston."

"Really irritated they didn't mark me down as honoring my reservation and that I got emails from Open Table about it later. I gave my name and reservation time to the host and hostess at the door; if they plan on using Open Table, I hope they have all team members understand they should check people in for reservations."

"The fish is fresh daily and creatively prepared. The bread is piping hot and fluffy, out of the oven. I had the swordfish au poivre. My dinner companion had the sesame seared tuna. Both were excellent. And our waitress Caroline took the initiative to provide us with Creme Brûlée on the house to celebrate our roommate reunion. A lovely experience all around."

"I've been to Atlantic Fish several times. It is consistently excellent, with wonderful fish, shellfish, and really good vegetables as well. the whole experience is pretty special and the service is very good -- although the servers seem to always recommend the more expensive things when asked....my only complaint. Their recommendations turns out well in any case. I especially enjoyed the corn cakes as one of my sides...."

"One of my favorite restaurants in the city. I get the swordfish and the salmon there. Always great service, seating outside is fabulous and great people watching on Boylston Street. Beer on tap is not the best selection, but you're not going there for the beer, you're going for the seafood."

"Atlantic Fish Company has just reopened after the Marathon explosions. It has a great energetic atmosphere. Locals and tourist mingle. On warmer days windows and doors open to outside creating a continuity with outdoors. Fresh well prepared seafood.
Crab-filled crab cake. Great clam chowder. Terrific fresh warm lobster. Outstanding waiter- attentive and knowledgeable. We were celebrating a birthday and dessert was complimentary for birthday celebrant. Atlantic Fish Company has been terrific since the early 1980's when I first came here. Keep up the high quality and excellence. We wish You many more years of success. All seafood preparations are excellent."
