"I've been here a few times for lunch and once for dinner. There are many options on the menu, and a fairly wide range in prices (about $15-30 per person with the entrees). The food is fantastic, and the place has always had fast service."

"Everything was great - except that service at first was very slow. Once the server came, service was fine. We actually intended to eat at Nan Thai - (we are from out of town, and I get the two mixed up) but it was nice to try Tamarind Seed. The food was great, but we prefer the Fine Dining atmosphere. Both are wonderful Thai food."

"The food was excellent and so was the service. However it is pricey and the portions are very small for the price. Especially the appetizers. Entree's are $15 + and appetizers are $7 and up.
Overall it was a nice experience but I probably won't do it again because of the prices."

"Definitely the best wait staff in town! I am always impressed by how professional, timely, and friendly they are. This wait staff needs to train others in the restaurant business."

"Food was delicious! Saturday night before theater performances was crazy, but we made it on time. The only negative to our meal was the extremely overpriced, anemic basil roll appetizer. The main courses were plentiful and delicious."

"The seafood in panang curry sauce was delicious, the masaman chicken was seasoned to perfection, and the calamari was cooked just right. Our waitress could not have been more gracious. This is my new favorite restaurant."

"We sat on the patio which was wonderful. The food was a bit bland. The tum yum was just okay. It was too sweet with no spice. The pad kee mao had no bite whatsoever like it claims. It was better after I added a bunch of sauce that I asked the server for. I was expecting a lot better considering the price of the entrees and previous reviews."

"The food was solidly good Thai food. I've had better, and I've had worse. The portion sizes were fit for one person (as in not the heaping piles of Thai we've become accustomed to). I don't think I'll be going back, merely because it was incredibly pricey for solidly good Thai food. Nothing to write home about, and spent more than I would have liked to. On a positive note, the menu has many options, and the location is convenient (they also will validate your parking for the garage adjacent to them!)."

"I was a fan and regular of Tamarind at the 14th St location and recently rediscovered it at Colony Square. The staff is still accommodating; the food is still a cut above my neighborhood Thai favorites and the patio tables provide a skyline view. I've never introduced anyone to Tamarind Seed that was not pleased."

"Food was ok. I ordered chicken dish which was not tender. Was chewy. The young lady who served us could use a smile. I am being constructive. She was more mechanical doing her duty rather than enjoying."

"Very good Thai food in a crowded noisy restaurant at what seems to be very high prices for Thai food - $50 for one small soup, one Pad Thai, and one entree - no alcohol, no soft drinks, no coffee or tea."

"Waitress was not too involved with our table. Since it was our first visit it would have been nice if she had made some recommendations and given us some guidance"
