"I already went on Landry's website and wrote a review for the outstanding service we received last Saturday night. It was my parents 50th wedding anniversary. The waiter, Jesse, did an impeccable job. The general manager stopped by to make sure everything was going well. The head chef came out several times to make sure our food was great. They, I feel, went above and beyond to make sure our dining experience was one of a kind...and it was! Our menus even had Happy 50th anniversary on the top. There wasn't anything that I would have changed. Thank you again for helping my family make memories!!! Lisa Fannin"

"I felt the meal was perfect, but the service was not so good. My family waited twenty five minutes to receive a drink order. When our server explained the problem I was still a little bothered. It was a busy day, management along with other servers were walking past, no one asked if we had been waited on. In the end the food was great."

"Again this year I took my Mother and family to McCormick & Schmick's to celebrate Mother's day. As expected the meal was perfect, the service was exceptional and the atmosphere was great. The gift of truffles to Mothers was a wonderful way to end a great meal. We will be back for Mother's day and other celebrations throughout the year."

"Food was average at best. Our table had scallops, mahi, walleye, and shrimp scampi. Fish was decent but the preparation was lackluster. The walleye was particularly disappointing. Was supposed to have pretzel crusting with Dijon. Couldn't taste either. Server did not seem engaged. The chef was handling some issues at two neighboring tables. Overall not a great Mother's Day experience."

"Try the stuffed shrimp appetizer. Heavenly! Great food and service. Only criticism was that apparently the maitre d did not pay attention to the reservation because we got a notice from open table that we no showed. Further I had noted that we were celebrating my husband's birthday and no acknowledgement of that and would have expected one of the nicer tables in the front room. I would suggest you specifically ask for one of the cozy tables in the front room when you arrive."

"The food was very competent for this level of restaurant, which is to say that it was very good. My soup was about 5-10 degrees cool as it hit, and my wife's beef medallions were quite red in the center (I would consider MR) and they were ordered MW. Maybe the server misheard. My lobster cobb salad was unusual in its presentation (in a good way) and excellent. Server did not know Chivas and water. The service was a bit slow and the bar was backed up due to a special event, but as we were in no hurry at all, this was ok. Server didn't really get pacing, operating as if this were Applebee's. When asked about what the sorbet was, she was explaining what sorbet was...not what flavor...but again she said she was new, so we were patient."

"My experience at McC & S was overall a good experience. I ordered a Filet and it was under cooked, they did return it a little done.
I did not send it back a second time, the steak still had a good flavor and the rest of my party had already eaten there food. Our server was nice, but a little scattered....she was very forgetful, gave me the bill with no receipt in the folder. This will not keep me from going back, I have been to other MC & S and have wonderful food. So maybe this was just a fluke."

"The service was excellent. The food was great. We wish there were a few more offerings of salads with different meats and cheeses. The dessert was really enjoyable. The menu is very good but I wish you provided a few more choices of meat in the $10.00-$20.00 range with maybe a smaller portion. The portions were very good but sometimes we like lighter fair, with good wine, and smaller serving of dessert to top off a meal."

"As usual the food preparation and presentation was Excellent!
The service I would rate as good but not excellent? I do not believe that there were enough waiters/waitresses on duty to meet the service needs of the crowd. The wait time was a lot longer that it normally was at your Beavercreek location? We also have dined at McCormick's in San Jose, CA. We have always had excellent food and excellent service there.
Hopefully our experience at the Beavercreek location was a one-time occurrence?

"My husband ordered a steak medium rare. It arrived medium well. We sent it back. The chef delivered the newly prepared dinner and waited while he tested it. The manager checked on us to see the steak was corrected, as well as adjusted a discount to our bill. We appreciate that the mistake was fully taken care of. We enjoy eating there regularly and will continue to return."

"Definitely well above average!! The food is superb, and the wine list is respectable. Really enjoyed the numerous seafood options, as well as the service- which was not too pushy nor was it negligent of a group of 8. The price is reasonable too, making it an all around great evening.
Whether its a first date, an anniversary, or a medium sized group; you won't be dissapointed.
Most fish plates in dayton are hidden in a "deep fried" dish. M&S offers every cooking option and its well worth the wait.
PS - the HESS 'allomi' was the best glass of Cabernet I have had in ages."

"I am seeing a lot of improvement. The restaurant was sliding downhill quickly once Landry's first took over. I am once again starting to enjoy dining here. Wish they would reinstate the "amuse bouche" with the membership though. We miss that a lot."

"We sat in the central table area near the Kitchen this time. This part of the restaurant is noisy and crowded. We asked to move to a booth and the restaurant was very accommodating. After this everything was great as always."

"The food quality was poor for what should be expected at this facility. I had to send food back and so my husband and I ate our food at separate times. His should actually have gone back but we just wanted to get out of there. The weather outside was bitter cold but it should not be cold in the restaurant as it was. Seafood is my favorite food and I have been eating Live Maine lobster since I was 5 years old. The excuse of a lobster I was served tasted like a musty and old rock lobster. If I wanted that I could have gone to a local fast food seafood chain. My husband and I will not visit this restaurant again."

"Nice evening out for Valentine's Day with my wife. No wait with our reservation, friendly, attentive server. My wife loved her salmon dish, my mahi mahi was just ok. But as long as she was happy, so was I. Had a nice bottle of wine, although I'm always amazed how places charge triple the price that I pay in a store for a bottle. Oh well, I am cheap about some things. It was a very nice evening!"

"We were at this restaurant for Valentines Day. We had been there before. We had never before perceived this restaurant as noisy, and in fact have chosen it because we have found it to be a quiet place to eat and have a good conversation with friends. We expected the atmosphere to be quiet and romantic, especially since it was Valentines Day. It seemed that additional tables had been added, which in and of itself is not bad, but the music was the killer. They chose a dance mix with a driving beat and turned it up very loud. So the food is great, the service was great, but the ambience really spoiled our experience."
