"We went here for Fathers Day. Food was excellent. We had steaks and seafood and surprisingly the steak was great as well as the fish that is always excellent. The crab cakes are great but getting a little to pricey in my opinion."

"Dad's Day treat..Blackened Texas Drum, Mom had Red Snapper. Both were fresh, moist, perfectly seasoned, with creamy mashed potatoes, and hot Al dente fresh green beans. Mixed green walnut salad, just like I like it, cool greens, chunky blue, and just a taste of dressing. Portions were generous, wait staff attentive without being bothersome. Good wine list, good selection "by the glass". There are a few Restaurants at the Domain we will not return to, this is not one of them. Great food at a reasonable price is getting harder to find, you'll find it here."

"We visited McCormicks for our 11 year anniversary. The service was good, our waiter was not overly friendly but very knowledgeable and accommodating. The food was okay, for what we paid we have had a lot better at places like Truluck's or Eddie V's. I do like that its in the Domain and close to lots of shopping."

"This was my first time to McCormick & Schmick's, a friend recommended the restaurant. The atmosphere was nice, the food was typical of upscale Landry's restaurants. My main problem with the restaurant was that there were gnats! As soon as our main entree arrived so did the gnats. It is concerning for an upscale restaurant to have gnats. The service was excellent."

"Maybe my mistake going to a Seafood and Steak restaurant and ordering steak. Our steaks were obviously pre-cut packaged frozen steaks that you would expect at a chain like Applebees (not that I would eat at an Applebees). The rest of the emal was good, oysters, drinks, and desert, but the steak was horrible.
I found after complaining and having the steak taken away and replaced with a fish course that McCormick & Schmicks is owned by a company that also owns Landry's...that explained it all to me and my bad for not knowing this before hand.
I will not go back."

"Recovering from dental surgery can be a drag. My wife wanted a meal at a place where her recent tooth extraction wouldn't interfere with her enjoyment of the food. Figuring that clam chowder and broiled fish were a safe bet, we headed to M&S, and had a great meal. Not only did she enjoy the chowder, so did our 9-year-old son, who consumed two cups. Overall the food was very good, but we thought the $17 Kobe burger (my son's entrée choice) turned out less stellar than we had hoped (our only other experience with this kind of burger was at the Gaylord Texan last Christmas, where my son fell in love with their Kobe burger). The New York style cheesecake with berries that concluded the meal was as good as Lindy's from NYC."

"The hostess acknowledged our reservation and immediately directed us to our seating, a booth as we had requested. The server was very helpful in going over menu features. We had the crab tower for appetizer and it was delicious. We all had fish entrees and they were very good. The clam chowder is not as good as in their Boston restaurant. For desert my husband had the chocolate box, delicious, but feeds more than 2!"

"I can depend on McCormick & Schmick's to have good food. I have had the good luck of having the same waiter twice and he is good, I think his name is Jacob, he makes sure we have a pleasant dining experience. I bring a friend of mine that is 84 and she likes that it is easy for her to get in and out. We went on Mother's day and it was busy, but that did not keep us from having a very pleasant experience. When I made my reservations online I noticed that the website said we were to receive chocolate truffles yet it was not mentioned at the restaurant. Am still curious about that."

"The waiter was very polite, but had been given a canned speech that really showed. My wife wanted salmon with no sauce and the waiter suggested a certain dish not on the menu. He said he would see that the sauce was left on the side. My stuffed shrimp came out and the waiter said the chef had put the sauce on the salmon and he could put in another order. We said no, just bring the order. It was not to my wife's liking at all. The stuffed shrimp were tiny and should have been an appetizer. They were tough and overcooked & probably frozen. We finished and asked for the check. Then the waiter asked us if would like to hear about their "dining club". I flatly said no. We will not be back."

"We came in that happy but quiet hour between lunch and dinner when the wait staff changes and very often one can get lost in the switch. This was not the case for us - early dinner for a 5:30 movie was the call and M&S did not disappoint. Since we each had one of the two specials for the day I can not remember exactly what they were - but hers was salmon based and mine was shrimp and chicken. I do remember ouor Starter which was a Lump Crab Tower. The crab meat was surrounded by a tower made from avacado, mango and orange vinaigrette. A verty tasty choice that served to highten our taste buds for the main course to come. We didn't partake of a dessert this time as we had that at the movie theater we attended."

"We made reservations online and specifically requested someplace quiet. We were surprised to be seated near the bar, which was really loud. They agreed to seat us someplace else that was a little quieter.

"McCormick & Schmick's was an excellent restaurant to celebrate our mom's 93 birthday. Everything from the nice comments of the hostess, the waitress, special menus, and outstanding food and desserts made her feel very loved and celebrated. She said it was a wonderful birthday. Thank you."

"Simple brunch menu, but expansive regular menu. Wide variety of food and wines, as well as a high quality bar menu. Service was excellent, both the servers and manager went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. Pricing was higher than expected, but worth the meal. Food was very good quality."

"We had a nice dining experience for my parent's 50th wedding anniversary. This restaurant was quieter than alll the others we considered, and the fact that they took reservations over the dinner hour why we went with McC and S. Only improvements I could see would be adding other chicken and pasta dishes, and advertising that you have a kid's menu. The prices were a bit high we thought, we would have appreciated more variety, and it did take a while to receive our food, but the fact that we were immediately seated due to our reservation helped since we had older people and children in our party. We would go again in a similar situation."

"After a very good first visit a few weeks ago we thought we would try again. This time not so good. Two fish dishes were excellent (although portion control was a little off) but one other salmon dish was undercooked and the steak dish was very rare when requesting medium. Both were sent back and only just came back passable and by this time we had completed the first two dishes. Waiter and ambience were very good although it is all about the food isnt it? I hope it was a one off"

"This was our second shot at this location, the first having been a few years back when I found my lobster tail to be rubbery from over cooking and nearly indelibly salty. Two years later we'd been given a hundred dollars in gift cards and decided to give it another try. Quickly seated by a friendly hostess our waiter was friendly and took our orders for drinks an appetizer which was a quite tasty crab cake, snow crab legs, and a steak. First our sides were forgotten and again absolutely everything was indelibly salty or in the case of my corn just flat out in edible. If we had to pay for this meal I would have been infuriated at the poor quality. Third time won't be the charm as we will never eat here again and I'm shocked people choose to."

"Could have without the back ground music. All you could hear was the thump of the bass. A different selection would have been must better.
Very excellent meal and good service for a busy Easter Day.
Was able to move up reservation by over 45 minutes which was definately appreciated."

"It was our first time to visit this restaurant and we were very pleased with it. Our waitress was knowledgeable of the menu items and specials and even shared recommendations. We were there for Easter and they offered a Brunch menu along with their lunch menu, however they had sold out of an item that my daughter ordered which was alittle upseting as it was barely 12:30. I will definitley return and recommend to others."
