Family owned and operated for over 30 years, Rosie O’Grady’s has two fantastic restaurants, both conveniently located in Midtown. We offer full lunch and dinner menus featuring dishes for all tastes. You can enjoy the finest quality Prime USDA steaks and fresh seafood cooked to your liking, as well as hearty pastas, or light crispy salads. Our original restaurant is on the corner of 52nd Street and Seventh Avenue. Our newest location is 149 West 46th Street, between Broadway and Sixth Avenue.

"Don't let the name of the restaurant fool you! Rosie O'Grady's has a great selection of Italian food (I had mistakenly gone into my meal expecting all Irish fare). The risotto is creamy and perfectly cooked. The seafood linguini has a healthy helping of seafood and pasta w/ a really great, simple marinara sauce. Calamari is very lightly breaded and definitely some of the best I've ever had. Chocolate mousse is exactly what you'd want and expect from a perfect chocolate mousse. Lots of seating to give it a good balance of busy, but comfortable atmosphere."

"Our party of 4...thoroughly enjoyed Rosie O'Grady's...we had a 4:30PM reservation, arriving at 4:10PM. Hostess seated us immediately at a table overlooking the window where we could people watch. Our waiter, Aloshi, was outstandingly gracious and served us impeccably with style and warmth. 3 of us chose the Fixe Prix selections of sirloin steak and crab topped chicken breast. The French Onion soup was amazingly delicious. One sirloin was a tad bit overdone but still tasty. My friend raved about the chicken dish. I myself had the Shrimp/Scallop risotto which could have sufficed with less seasoning..tasted a bit too salty for my palate; however that was a minor detail. The desserts were delectable. would definitely return!"

"Out of convenience picked the restaurant for a quick steak. Had a reservation made about 45min before, have to say I haven't ever seen so arrogant service at the door. Thoight we were ok when escorted to our table (the only friendly person in the joint) but it all went down again when the food was served. the weiter started to argue whether the steak was made to the order or not when it obviously wasn't. Not an expensive place and maybe that is the only good part, the food overall was quite a disappointment."

One meal served cold, returned to kitchen only to be brought back still cold. Returned for second time and on third attempt the fish platter now was inedible, as over cooked and rubbery. Other guests meals now also gone cold whilst waiting. Apology from manager was received but only after refusing to pay for the cold/reheated/undeniable fish dish did they agree to reduce bill!

"We were met at the door hospitably and our reservation was acknowledged immediately. Service and food were outstanding and we had a wonmderful pre-theater dinner. We would go there again anytime we're in town.

"Rosie O'Grady's offers the dinner house experience of the 1960's and '70's. Basic steak and seafood, with an full and reasonably priced bar, make this restaurant reliable, if you're not looking for too much adventure, but you want a nice dinner, at Time Square. My steak was slightly overcooked, but the rest of our party had nice, basic steaks and fish. There was nothing serious about which to complain, but nothing was really that memorable."

"It was my second time to New York city, my first time to Rosie's I was pleased with everything, good food. It was very nice to meet Orlando (manager) he is from Portugal (my country) and gave me very good information about the city. If I will visit New York again will definitely return to Rosie's."

"I've heard about Rosie O'Grady's for years and had heard that it was a popular tourist spot. Chose it because it was close to the theater we were attending and my guests from out of town are not adventurous diners, so it seemed safe. Everything about it was just OK - nothing stellar, nothing awful, just kind of OK. But not special enough to warrant a return. Also a bit loud. Overall, I'm not sure why it is such a popular spot, except for the location. Overall grade: B- / C+."

"My husband and I had an early weeknight dinner before a play. Rosie O'Grady's was very convenient! The food was reasonably good (seafood linguine and duck), but should have been served hotter. Asparagus was really nice. The decaf coffee was truly dreadful and not hot, although the waiter happily brought me more. Service was reasonably efficient and professional."

"Had a reservation for 5:30, but got there significantly earlier. It wasn't a problem, and we were seated immediately. Our service was great (our water glasses were constantly being filled), the food excellent, and the atmosphere pleasant. As it neared the time of our original reservation, I was glad I made it. The place had gotten quite full by that time, and the reservation would've almost certainly been necessary. As the restaurant got busier, it did seem to get a little louder in there, but not to the point that you couldn't hold a conversation. This is my second experience at O'Grady's, once for lunch and this time for dinner. Overall it was a pleasant experience, with great food. Will definitely be back."

"The food was much better this time than in January. My burger was great, the other lunch entree's, Turkey Club and Portabello Sandwiches, were very good. Service was once again great. Like I said before, we love this place and keep coming back."
