"It is in a nice spot in Claremont, but I didn't see anything special in the food we had there. The service is excellent, but the food is not. It was a mixture of strange flavors, cloying sweetness, and excessive saltiness mixed with boring sausage. I can say the best thing that I had was the bruschetta. I have had far better meals for one quarter of the price. Be prepared to pay about $50 a person, even without wine or drinks."

"We arrived on time for our reservation, waiting at the bar and weren't seated until 30 min later. The bartender gave us free seconds on our drinks. Finally seated, the special, monkfish sounded wonderful, server came back to say they were out of the special. Our meals were very tasty but had missed out on something different. We will probably return, but not soon."

"We used to go here all the time, but the prices keep going up and up, and we don't go as often. Now the veggies and potatoes are ala carte with your steak. We both ordered 8 oz. steaks, and one was half the size of the other, and the waitress insisted that it only looked that way because they were different cuts, later she came back and admitted that she had ordered one of them as a 6 oz steak. To her credit, she did offer to do a new steak, but we didn't want to eat our meals at different times. When the manager came by, and asked how our meal was, we mentioned the order mix up, plus told him that the 6oz steak was overcooked on one half of it, he didn't seem to care, their sister restaurant in RC did a better job!"

"We've dined many times at Tutti Mangia. I chose this time to actually make a reservation, as we had four people in our party, but they usually aren't required when it's just the two of us. The food is absolutely wonderful, and the staff is very attentive and friendly. Eddie, the owner, is usually in the restaurant helping everyone out and giving special attention to each of his patrons. Overall, the restaurant is the best one in Claremont."

"We dined at Tutti Mangia to celebrate my birthday. Both the service and the meal were wonderful. We have dined here many times and have never been disappointed. The only drawback was the noise level that evening. We had a previous conflict the night of my birthday so we made our reservations for the next evening ..... a Tuesday. The restaurant has a wine tasting series on Tuesdays and guests are invited to stay for dinner with the incentive of a discount on the second meal and the purchase of two wine tastings. The restaurant was full when we arrived and everyone was obviously enjoying themselves. We had trouble hearing our server when she recited the evening specials. In the future, we will go on a night other than a Tuesday."

"I was amazed that the restaurant was packed on a Tuesday night. We were seated at a table for two against the window which was nice. The noise level in the restaurant was incredibly loud to the point that I could barely understand what my wife was saying and it definitely detracted from the night. While their wine list is good, I would have liked to see a better selection of California wines."

"We took our grandson for his 18th birthday. The food and service were excellent. It was a Friday night so packed and a little noisy, but overall, excellent. "I am so bad at writing reviews I never seem to get around to it. Tutti Maniga is my favorite restaurant in Claremont. The food is outstanding, great bartending with fun cocktails and the staff is wonderful. We usually have Alex as our waiter so he makes the experience even better. The chef does such a great job with fish and my favorite is the roast chicken. It is a definate must try in Claremont."

"Our meal was very good, from the pear salad with a hint of mint in the dressing, to excellent fish dishes and capped with the phenomenal Dr. Bob's ice cream - incredibly rich and satisfying. We left happy and very well fed. Only downside was a child running amok between the tables. I suppose that some would find that kid-friendly, but for us it was out-of-place and distracting from an otherwise very pleasant environment."

"The food is lovely and they have a small, but nice list of wines by the glass. The servers are somewhat informed about a circulating set of special wines.
My problem with Tutti Mangia is the seating. There are lots of undesirable tables: too close to the door; seating area is too active; many tables are too close to the next table for personal conversation; tables are jammed into corners, etc. Given that the restaurant has such wonderful food offerings, it's too bad that one doesn't feel comfortable to savor and linger."

"Great Italian Place on the Edge of Claremont's Village. Not the largest restaurant but a very pretty layout and small but beautiful bar. Often looks like not a soul is ever there because they open only for dinner at 5:00 PM and I am told for lunch on Fridays. Reservations are a must and almost always have to be done online or in advance when eating at Tutti Mangia.
The Village has several very good Italian Restaurants but Tutti Mangia is clearly the most expensive one of them all. The food is fantastic with an incredible 8 oz filet. The sides, including wonderful goat-cheese mashed potatoes, are wonderful but tiny (I like them this way).
The establishment can be a bit loud for some on certain nights when groups gather to meet there."

"We use Tutti Mangia to meet friends from LA , for dinner,as Claremont is a perfect mid point between LA and the Inland Empire, not to mention a beautiful town to visit. This is the best restaurant in the area to make it worthwhile. Tutti Mangia is a standout restaurant that is predictably good and always has everyone leaving feeling the drive was well worth it. However, it falls a little short of being an exceptional dining experience. The food despite sounding special on the menu, lacks that special quality, which has you talking about it for days. The ambiance is really wonderful, something you would expect in a back east eatery, but feels crowded and my only real complaint is the noise level, when things are busy."

"Valentines dinner at Tutti Mangia! To say it was crowded was an understatement. There seemed to be a lot of people without reservations. The menu was impressive and the food was wonderful. The wine list was great but didn't have the first two choices. We love Tutti Mangia and will be back soon."
