"We enjoyed a lovely dinner out at Kali's Court despite an evening of pouring rain. Very quiet and relaxing with attentive, warm and friendly service. Our waiter was kind enough to have a cab waiting for us at the end of our meal since walking anywhere was out of the question. For the few outdoor tables they have you can sit surrounded by a beautiful flower garden. Our meal was delicious. I enjoyed a seared salmon dinner and my husband loved the crab cakes. Said they were the best he ever had. Pear and walnut salad was fresh and very tasty. The bread is very ordinary. I was surprised to see so few others dining there because it really is a nice place to go in Fell's Point particularly if you love seafood."

"The waiter though knowledgeable about the foods and how they were prepared was slow with delivery, and did not understand the concept of how to pre-bus or clear the table in the proper way. Reaching across our meals to deliver drinks without even a hint of "pardon my reach" is unacceptable. The bus boy himself looked like he was on his first day. He dropped silverware, and actually asked my son to pass him a plate. for the money that we spent on four meals ($215.00) our experience was not worth it.
Now lets talk about only having 1 valet driver...the process for getting my car took over 30 minutes from the time I walked up to the counter to getting in my car. Again on such a busy day they should have planned better.

"This was our first time to the restaurant. We were greated and promptly taken to our table. Nicholas was great and took care of our needs completely. We never needed to look for him. The food was excellent. For appetizers, we had the tuna, oysters rockefellar and the calamari. I don't know what they marinate the squid in, but it was awesome. For dinner I had the scallops...yum! Great night all around. I can't wait to go back."

"We went here for my graduation dinner - this was the 2nd time I had been there so I figured it would be okay....FALSE - I had to not only ask for menus after 30 minutes, but then wait another 30 minutes for our order to actually be taken. Our reservation was at 7:30 and we were served dinner at 10:15. When we were all served (party of 10) my grandfather still had to wait for his meal another 15 minutes. I made numerous complaints to the waiter and the manager never once came over to our table. To top it all off they took absolutely nothing off the bill. I don't usually complain, because I've worked in restaurants for years, but this was so outrageous and unacceptable I feel like other customers should know."

"We had a very nice Mother's Day dinner there. Some hiccups in the service/food orders but nothing too bad and the staff was very friendly and attentive and happy to fix the mix-ups. All the food our group had was delicious."

"I arrived with my family for a Mother's Day lunch and was offered tables upstairs or near the front door. We selected upstairs to be away from all the foot traffic. Once upstairs, they seated us at the darkest table in the back of the room that partially blocked the stairway traffic. Other tables were available including one near the front window, but we were placed in the dark recesses which required me to move my chair when other people came upstairs. I also needed a flashlight to read the menu.
Sensing our dissatisfaction, they told us that we were not seated in isolation, but that others would be seated at tables near us. Well, as we were leaving 2 hours later, someone else was finally seated at a neighboring table.
Ridiculous!"

"After finding one of our favorite places had been getting bad reviews, I did some quick research. After quickly finding Kali's Court and reading many positive reviews the decision was made. The staff was friendly and accomodating the decor is upscale but comfortable.
The food was fantastic, fresh, and flavorful. Definately recommend Kali's Court for your next dining experience."

"Kali's Court is situated in the middle of the Fell's Point scene but appears to be a step above most of the other offerings in terms of elegance and the quality of the menu. Our server was extraordinarily attentive and helpful when we asked for menu suggestions. The restaurant was not exceedingly crowded and we were able to carry on a lively dinner conversation without difficulty. I used a gift card to help pay for the meal and the server handled it without any problem at all."

"We had a wonderful dinner that began with a complimentary limo pick up by a well informed driver. The food was exceptional and very much true to the description of seafood with a mediterranean flair. Our waiter was helpful and offered great service including sending over a sommelier who too was extremely knowledgable.

"I had not visited Kali's Court for a few years, but since it has always been one of my favorites, I took my sister there for her birthday. Although we were one of two tables of early diners, the server was very slow and inattentive. The food was not up to par for the prices. For example: the crab cakes were not all lump as described but were over $20. The dessert list was non-existent (ice cream or fruit plate) I will probably not be returning, sorry."

"The maitre de' was wonderful. Our seat in the window could not have been better, as we gazed at the courtyard, which was a little too breezy for sitting in.
Food was good and quite on time, so to speak.
Our waiter was attentive but not warm and personable. It was simply a job for him, it seemed....but he was always there!
A nice evening. The acoustical sounds were nice and quiet because of where we were sitting. I have been to Kali's when it was too noisy. This was good for conversation. The other couple had been there on Valentine's Day and were not pleased so this time they were finding an Epiphany."

"Once again a great dinner night. I was just there Sat. evening, raining terrible outside; but inside you would never know it. Nicolas our server was great and Mike (the bartender) was fabulous! "The food was excellent and was very quick coming out of the kitchen. Our server was excellent, as well. Our reservation was for 8:00, we arrived a few minutes early, and were told to enjoy a cocktail at the bar while we waited for our table, with others at the bar doing the same. We could see open tables throughout the dining room, but we were still forced to wait over 30 minutes to be seated. Whether this is true or not, it certainly had the appearance of the restaurant just drumming up business for the bar. I don't like feeling like we're being taken for more money at an already expensive restaurant. But other than that, the meal was excellent."

"We met with old friends we hadn't seen in a long time and wanted to have a great meal at a restaurant where we could talk without competing with loud music. We sat at the window table by the door and near the bar - which one might think would be the noisiest spot of all. But it was perfect - as if we were in our own little bubble. The waiter kept his eyes on us and was attentive but never intruded. After an amuse bouche, the roasted tomato salad and the arugula with beets salad were lovely starters, we all had the bronzini, a signature dish prepared delicately, although the tiny potatoes were a little overdone. We finished by sharing the pistachio dessert which was light but amazing. We would go again and definitely recommend it."

"Had a wonderful meal. The food was imaginative and perfectly prepared. Our waiter was very attentive - perhaps just a bit too attentive, as he seemed to visit our table (in a cozy private nook) every 5 minutes, but we put that down to enthusiasm, and perhaps a lack of experience on his part. It's certainly a minor complaint, as everything else about the meal was spot on."

"I have eaten at Kali's court several times over the past few years. It has always been one of my favorite restaurants. The food was fresh and original. My appetizer and 2nd course were very good; but my main course was mediocre. The fish was slightly dry and the rice had no flavor. Sadly, I think my days of eating there are over. They have raised their prices to an unreasonable amount. The prices no longer match the quality of their food. If you don't mind paying such prices, then you will enjoy your meal."

"We were seated upstairs next to the window at a table for four even though we were a couple. Food was excellent. Dishes reflect what is available in the Baltimore area. We ordered white wine which went well with the two kinds of oysters we had as an appetizer. The evening was wonderful. We will go back when we are in Baltimore again."

"Wonderful Birthday celebration. The only negative comment is that we were charged $1.50 for a la mode vanilla ice cream and the waiter did not tell us this was an additional charge. Not that it's a large amount but I don't like getting a bill that has charges on it I wasn't prepared for. Especially since we had already spent over $330 for four of us."

"This was our first time dining at Kali's Court. It will not be our last. Everything about it was first class. Our waiter was just excellent. The pacing of the dishes was right on the money. Everyone in our party thoroughly enjoyed all that we ordered. Especially delicious was the monkfish. Expertly prepared and presented. Go to Kali's for a real experience."

"My girlfriend and I went to Kali's Court for Valentine's Day. When we were first seated, our table was by a window and there was a considerable draft. Despite being completely booked, the wait staff kindly seated us at a new table which was much more comfortable. The food, especially my goat cheese and walnut salad, was excellent. And the prices were entirely reasonable. By the end of the evening our waiter had become a bit inattentive as the restaurant filled up even more, but this is understandable given the holiday."

"Kali's Court is a wonderful restaurant. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was nice. I ordered the Surf & Turf and the only problem I had with the meal was that there was not a significant amount of crabmeat. I assumed that it would be at least a crab ball or two but it wasn't. It was only a taste and when I say a taste I didn't even get a fork full, just a taste. I thought that there may have been more crabmeat at the bottom but there was nothing. I also had a problem with the lighting. There was none and it made it somewhat difficult to see the menu. I actually had to hold the candle on the table to see it more clearly. My experience in general was good and I will return but this time I will ask for seating with better lighting."
