"A party of five was out to celebrate several events. The food is something to dream about and will keep you coming back again and again. Great wine selection. We requested a "quiet" table since last time we were there we could barey have a conversation because of the dining room noise level. We didn't have any luck this time either. Tables are seated close together and everyone is having a great time, which raises the noise level, it's hard to hear. With that said, I will still return without hesitation, the food is that delicious!"

"We hadn't been to Harry's in quite a while and decided to celebrate our 34th wedding anniversary by having dinner there. It was disappointing. I ordered the iceberg wedge on to see it arrive served upside down (wedge is usually cut side up at other restaurants) and when I went to cut into it it flattened out. It was really only several leaves of iceberg, not a complete wedge ($8.50 for that). My prime rib was delicious but the cucumber cup used for horseradish sauce was a limp, half dead cucumber, not at all attractive. My husband was fairly satisfied with his dinner, but we weren't happy that we were seated in the bar area. We thought we would be seated in the dining room. Won't be going back anytime soon."

"We were seated right away and sat at a booth which I thought was uncomfortable. The people seated behind us you could feel every time they moved. The food was good but I felt rushed by staff asking several times if I was finished. Finally I just gave up and said,yes. The check arrived without asking if we'd like dessert. I asked if we could see the dessert selection first. We ordered dessert which was good. There was 3 of us and with a bill at 250.00 I expected better service. The reason I selected wouldn't recommend is that we also dine at Sullivan's steakhouse receiving much better service."

"We have not been to Harry's for some time but our visit on Sunday was horrible. While the service and scene is good, the food has gone way downhill. The pancakes were dry and tasteless. The syrup did not add any flavor. One member had their debris meat and biscuitt which had a flour and water gravey not hollandese or bernasse sauce as the server claimed. The meat in the item was over cooked and dry scraps of meat. We will go someplace else next time"

"We've been faithful customers since 1972...before it was Harry's. The rib roast has always been great.
Tonight several things changed our feelings.
The roast beef was very, very fatty...I cut about 50% off to get to some real meat. The escalloped potatoes offered with this dish had no real, good cheese flavor. What change happened? It wasn't Velveeta but not even as good! The salad was OK, but for $9.50 I expected a bit more than a few dozen spinach leaves with a hint of some assorted nuts(only a hint)
The shrimp cocktail @ $3.50/shrimp was totally over-priced.
The entire main entree prices(prime rib) have increased in the past two years by about 50%.
The service was very good."

"It was my husbands 60th birthday and he raved about the dinner and the atmosphere at Harry's! Our dinner was awesome! The service was wonderful! We highly recommend this restaurant! We will definitely go back. Only one drawback, we wish there was a Harry's Savoy Grill in Dover!!"

"Overall good experience. Good ambiance and the live music was a nice touch; it never became overpoweringly loud. However, I was surprised that the menu was so heavily seafood-oriented. I expected the menu to focus more on "turf" than "surf," especially considering that Harry's has the seafood restaurant by the Riverfront. Both my date and I ordered fish. They ran out of swordfish, so my order was replaced with salmon. Both my salmon and my date's fish were over-cooked. The wines we chose were excellent. I felt that the seating arrangements were a bit too crowded. At one point, the couple next to us were obviously listening in to our conversation and commenting on it, which was awkward."

"the place is not what it used to be . I haven't been to Harry's in over 15 years, so I concede that my standards have changed since I was 25. There were problems from the start- there was no one at the front greeting guests as they arrived so there was a bit of a "TGI Fridays" feel to the entrance. Once a server noticed the pile up at the front door, we were seated immediately on a Friday around 8pm with no reservation."

"We went for a Friday night dinner without the kids. Our table was great and in a quiet area. We could hear each other talk. The food was outstanding. My husband and I had the same dinner. The crab cakes were the best I have had in a long while. No filler, all crab. I had a salad - very good and my husband had fried calamari, also delicious. The only concern was, the waiter seemed to have an attitude of not wanting to be there. Although he was nice enough, our opinion was that he seemed bored."

"Love this place, started out with the Oysters , the best, no limited Valetines Day Menu to order off of,the Regular menu was available with a hand maid pasta avialable now. Went off the board with the bone in sirloin, my wife got the fillet. My steak was cooked perfect but just wasn't tasty, i ate maybe 1/2 of it and the rest of my wife's Fillet which was delicouis !! never order Sirloin again.. Everything else was perfect .."
