"We chose to eat at GB prior to a Fox event. Service was good, food was great! Had Baja fish tacos as an appetizer and could've eaten them as an entree. My husband ordered the meatloaf-who does that eating out? He loved it and was satisfied with portions. I am vegetarian and was pleased with the veggie burger. They can be a hit or miss at restaurants but GB nailed it. I was slightly disappointed in the spring dessert special - it was obvious that it was mass produced or made too far in advance. Overall-fabulous!!!!!"

"Had a package deal to Fox Theater that included a dining discount and free valet parking. Restaurant is nice enough inside. It was a nice night so we chose to sit outside. Our waiter was very attentive. I cannot, however, recommend this restaurant because the food was inordinately salty. Some dishes, besides being salty in the prep also had quite a lot of salt sprinkled on before serving. Crunchy chunks of salt! I do realize that GB's main goal may be to sell more beer, so they make you thirstier, but really?!?! My feet were so swollen by the end of the evening, I considered walking the three blocks back from the Fox to the parking valet barefoot. If I were to eat at GB again, I would insist they limit the salt in preparing my food."

"I have been many times to GB as I really like the beer and energy. This time we sat outside on a really nice spring evening. There was a good crowd as usual. The service was very friendly but a little sloppy (plates were not removed, attention was not paid to whom ordered what etc.). The food tasted well but both the burger and the steak came out overcooked. The manager was however really attentive and we got a round of excellent beer on the house. Overall, a good experience but I know GB can do better."

"My fiance and I dined at Gordon Biersch before our show at The Fox Theatre and as a celebration of our 3-year anniversary. My water glass was never empty and when I sent my burger back to be cooked a bit more, they re-plated the burger patty with a new bun and fixings.
The garlic fries are excellent. We also ordered the brownie for dessert. We practically never order dessert after dinner, but I'm so glad we did because it was the most amazing dessert I've ever tasted. I think it took us maybe a minute to inhale it.

"Always a great experience at Gordon's. Food was excellent as usual...can't help but not order the garlic french fries. Food was brought out quickly and hot. Love the option to bring a group of 20+ and to get separate checks for each party group - a big Thanks.

"We have eaten here several times and generally find the food good. It was disappointing this time. My kobe blue cheese burger lacked blue cheese and the beef was no better than a regular burger. My husband's miso mahi was well cooked but the serving was small. The service was good, as usual. Employees are moving with a sense of purpose and seem to enjoy what they are doing."

"Wait staff was unattentive. Waited 5 minutes before a waitress arrived at our table, even though the table next to us who was seated after us were greeted and drink orders taken. Follow up service during the meal was non-existant. When it did arrive and another round of drinks ordered, they did not arrive until meal was completed and we were ready to depart. Food was overcooked and sat on the serving stand too long as one entree was luke warm at best. Not worth the effort to return the food or to this restaurant. Much better alternatives in the area."

"My husband's experience with the strip steak was not great. He compared it to Waffle House steak. Our combined experience with the toast and dip appetizer was outstanding. Service and ambiance was terrific, and my chicken veggie over jasmine rice was tasty and different.

"First time there, overall what I expected - bar food done a little better than average. Only real complaint was the waiter was not very good (long gaps between visits and couldn't answer a question about what was on the sweet potato fries with any kind of confidence) but the food was tasty and the ambience is good if you like pub style places (and I do). I will return, just gonna be looking for a different server."

"Walking inside was great, but the food was absolutely nothing special. Signs and waitress pushed the black and blue, so that is what I got. It was med, and boy was it tough and chewy and small for the price. Barely any blue cheese, and it was a kind of sauce that added no flavor. Ted's does a much better job! He got chicken (puck) and shrimp (Tiny) and if you had thrown the rice on the wall, it would have stuck on the wall in the same form. Just gross. It was Valentine's and it wasn't crowded at all, but the service was kind of slow and felt unattentive. One good note beside the ambiance, I did really like the IPA style beer we had, it was very good. Not sure if I'd come back, there are other places around I haven't tried. Oh well."

"Usually this place is great, but today was a different story. My salmon was over cooked. The first item my girlfriend order ( a new special they offered) was sold out! Then the next thing she ordered had no flavor and was dry also. I much rather visit the buckhead location."

"Our group of 6 went to Gordon Biersch before the Fox theater show. We had reservations and were seated shortly after arrival. 4 of us split 2 entrees and our waiter brought our plates already split, which was awesome. The crab stuffed sole was perfectly prepared with a light sauce. The crabcake sandwich and a chicken pasta dish were also hits. This was the 3rd time our group has been to Gordon Biersch, and the food and service have always been excellent."

"The only issue we had with Gordon Biersch was our server. She was very frazzled and busy so it took a long time to get our order taken and food/drinks delivered and refilled. I love the restaurant, and this was the second time I'd been there. Server's don't make or break a restaurant so we will definitely visit again. Try the lobster and shrimp mac and cheese... it's TO DIE FOR."

"The restaurant was beautiful but the food that we had not so much...I have lobster & shrimp tacos and to be honest they were horrible...one bite felt like ocean water totally. My friend had the Ahi tacos and I know its tuna but it was the fishy tuna ever! Now the lobster bisque was tasty but there was absolutely no lobster in it???"
