Created out of a belief in great food, fantastic service and a fun, casual atmosphere, Joe Buck's is perfect for just about any dining occasion or gathering. J Buck’s was established in 1999 and named after Jack, Joe and Julie Buck, the legendary broadcasting family. The vision of the classic American restaurant celebrates the rich history and tradition of excellence the Buck family is known for. Joe Buck’s features fresh food prepared by great chefs and friendly, first-rate service, all in a warm, beautiful environment with moderate prices. Joe Buck’s is the perfect place for a business or casual lunch, a special evening out, a bite before or after a game, a family celebration or “just because.” Joe Buck's can accommodate any group from an intimate dinner for two, to a special party in one of the private dining rooms. But that’s not all. Don’t forget the classic American bar, a great place to meet.
"This was our first trip to Joe Buck's. We were very pleased with our dinner selections. The prices are very modest and we will definitely be returning to Joe Bucks for future family gatherings."

"The menu choices at Joe Buck's should satisfy even the most picky eater. Meat and vegetarian choices are quite good. Even the price point is very acceptable for varying individual. The staff was quite helpful and very knowledgeable about the selections in the menu. Portion size was quite acceptable if not too large. The only complaint I would have is the price of non-alcoholic beverages. A glass of iced tea served in a 10 or 12 ounce plastic cup was $2.30. Granted refills were free, but, that price was unacceptable in my opinion."

"That is correct, take me out to the ball game but before we go let's stop for dinner and Joe Buck's. It is a fun place, good food, gets you in the mood for baseball as you look at the sea of red clothing dining at the table. You know you will have a good time at Joe's."

"Been to Buck's many times. Enjoy it, Mostly pre Cards games. Friday 5/11 were there with friends and my wife bit into her burger only to find a foreign object intertwined in the meat. Suffice to say that ruined her meal and our experience. Our server was very apologetic and handled things well, but perhaps the manager might have taken notice and stopped by our table ? And while yes, they took the sandwich off our bill ( Gee, thanks ) there wasn't any other comment and the check actually indicated " discount for foreign object". I can't make this up. It must be a routine occurrence at Bucks. They have it in their system !
Goodbye to Joe Bucks for us !"

"Dined before a Blues game and the place was hoppin. Wings are not really as good as I have had elsewhere, but were served fresh and hot. Hot made chips were not good...too much salty spice on them and onion dip is nothing special. But baby back ribs were excellent. Loaded fries and slaw was good. Another at our table liked the BBQ sausage. Two who had had salads with salmon said it was good, but not great. Had excellent service. A good spot before the game, but not a place to rush to if not in the area."

"We went to Joe Bucks for lunch prior to a Cardinal ballgame. The food was great and the service was excellent. We had the bar-b-que plate and the lunch size salmon plate. Both were excellent. We were able to park in their lot and walk to the ballgame which is really convenient. We will definately return anytime we are going to a Cardinal game and highly recommend this venue for a good time"

"Met some clients here for dinner before a Cardinals game and it set the perfect tone for the evening. It was packed with fans wearing every type of Cardinals attire known to man, and the energy from the other patrons was amazing. If you are going to a Cardinals of Blues game, this is definitely a great option before or afterwards.
As for the food, the smoked chicken wings were great, the chicken strips looked good, and the smoked turkey sandwich was a winner, The turkey burger was average at best, and the beer list had the expected St. Louis flavor with several seasonal options."

"We visited Joe Buck's before a St. Louis Cardinals baseball game, and on the same night, the St. Louis Blues were playing a playoff hockey game two blocks away. Despite this fact and the very crowded restaurant, the service was fast and efficient. Josh, our server, was attentive and accurate. Drinks were served promptly as was the food. Portions were very large and tasty. Our entire party was highly impressed with the whole experience. We were out in plenty of time to get to the Cardinals' game before the first pitch. It did help that we had reservations. Otherwise, the wait would have been lenghthy for a table. Overall, a wonderful dining experience was provided by Joe Buck's."

"4 of us got there at 5:30 for a 7 pm hockey game...figured that would be plenty of time for a somewhat relaxed meal...sat down right away, waitress took our drink order and came back with 3 drinks? How do you forget that you have 4 people at a table...waitress was very hit and miss...ordered appetizers, they were great...orders meal and at 6:20 finally received our main course which we had to rush through to get to the game on time...food was good, service was mediocre at best"

"great location, atmosphere and prices. service was good but food was not. looking around, it seems that the chips and chicken tenders (probably anything fried) are the way to go if you visit; not the best places for healthy choices & could taste preservatives on the wrap i had, which was mostly 'wrap'. the guys (2) tried the ribs and they were charred and dry. overall, a great idea for dining but not the best food. the hummus was good but, again, could have used some veggies with it instead of just pita."

"We came in with a party of 6 and even though we only waited about 15 minutes, the staff felt bad for our wait and brought us a huge dessert to share. We had no trouble waiting as we were certainly in no rush, but it was a thoughtful gesture and it was absolutely delicious. Everyone we interacted with was a pleasure and our meals were delicious and generous. I will certainly return to this spot whenever in St. Louis."

"My husband and I went to Joe Buck's and had a delicious meal. He had a burger and I had the salmon. My meal was amazing. The pineapple barbecue sauce was tangy, yet sweet. I tried one of his french fries and they were crispy and fresh. He was very pleased with his burger and fries also."

"I have eaten here before with great results. This time was no different. My wife and I were out to celebrate our recent wedding and choose to eat here. It was a treat. Service was great and friendly. The food order came quickly. The quality of the food was excellent. The portion size was great. You have to try the home-made chips and dip. Killer! We will be going back there again, without doubt. Oh, and the price for two adults was very reasonable for downtown St. Louis. $35-40 isn't all that bad along with a parking validation..."

"This restaurant specializes in bbq recipes, and I would title it as a "sports bar/restaurant (lots of high def TV's). I took my wife here for valentines day to do something different. Between the two of us, we had pulled pork, beef brisket, and smoked turkey. The pork and beef seemed fatty. The turkey was EXCELLENT. The mashed potatoes were also good. We went on a slow day, but I imagine that they have a lively crowd during the baseball season (they are within walking distance from the stadium). The prices were reasonable and you get large portions. Overall, I would recommend that you try this restaurant, and my wife and I will definitely be back."

"it was an ok place to go, but nothing stood out as far as the food. no wow factor. I will say the waiter was very good. I give him a 10 +. The restaurant itself a 7."

"The food was very good and our waiter was excellent. Our problem occurred when we checked in and gave them our reservation that we had made on Open Table. They seated us promptly but the next day we got a notice from Open Table that we did NOT honor our reservation. Needless to say, my wife and I were offended by the email we received so promptly responded on line telling them when we ate, how long we were there, how much our bill was, that we paid by VISA, etc. Open Table cleared it up the next day but we ask why Joe Buck's did not check us in properly? Mike Shannon's did the same thing to us last time we ate there. Open Table needs to require a higher standard on checking in folks that have made reservations through their system."

"The food is good, but the service is simply atrocious. For a restaurant that must do the majority of its business with special event crowds (before Cards or Blues games, concerts), they clearly cannot handle a full house. I say this having tried Joe Buck's on several occasions. This is at least the fourth time we have had bad service there. This time we got there at 5:15 and barely made it to our 7:00 game and that is with no ordering of appetizers or deserts, just main entrees. It's a shame because the food is good, but the service is so consistently horrible that my wife and I have decided we will go there no more."
