"We went for our anniversary and were very pleased. It is a loud atmosphere after 8:00 p.m. which is fine as long as you are expecting it which we were. Our waiter was very attentive and the food was fresh and delicious. Loved the ceasar salad and the crabcakes were great! Husband had the sword fish which he said was excellent. Food is very pricey and is a la carte but you go there expecting a larger bill than average which is complimentary to the food being served."

"It had been about 6 years since my last dinner at this fine establishment. The food is and has always been terrific, and the same goes for the service. Give it a try if you're in AC. You won't be disappointed!!! If you're not in the mood for steak or seafood, no worries...Don't pass over the delicious and hearty portion of chicken parmigiana. Yes, I highly recommend the chicken parmigiana at a place that is likely more famous for steak, lobster, and the like.
A special thanks to the maitre'd and all servers who made us feel welcome on this night. Traveling and dining with a 5-month old can be difficult, but this restaurant and its staff did everything to accomodate us."

"Saturday night dinner reservations -seated in a booth as requested promptly at 8. Immediately noticed how annoyingly loud it was-just a din that never stopped. Seated near large groups who were obnoxiously loud -adults, not families with children. Had appetizers and took over an hour for entrees to be served-small filet medium and veal parmigiana. I don't know why it took over an hour for two entrees-especially when you consider they forgot to bread the veal cutlet-how does that happen. So as I ate - my wife insisted as the steak was hot -we waited 10 minutes for our waiter who was chatting with one of his tables and did not bother to check if everything was okay. I finished my filet before they got around to correcting the mistake."

"We had half price cocktails at the bar during Happy Hour. The meal was great. Steak cooked perfectly and the lobster tail was wonderful. We never leave without having the doughnuts for dessert. They remind us of our childhood."

"We just went to The Palm April 26 friday night to celebrate a 30th birthday in a group of six! The food was just amazing the Lamb is to die for... the steaks are amazing tender juicy delicious. "If you are looking for an upscale steak/seafood house, try Palm. It was bustling when we were there, surprising since AC was pretty quiet. Several tables of large groups, some celebrations. Seemed that locals were there as staff knew regulars. Service was good--gave a 4 star since we did have to wait a bit for service as they were busy. Food was good, hot, steaks done correctly. I loved their version of lettuce wedge. Cocktails also properly prepared. Gave a 4 overall, only because of the location. Tucked away in the back of the Tropicana."

"We have been to the Palm on several occasions and the food is very good.The noise level however is VERY ANNOYING! When we have sat in the bar area in the past the noise level was fine. The main dining room is a different story! It is Soooo noisy that we could not even hear the waiter telling us the specials or hold a conversation with the other couple we were with! We felt like we were in a bar/restaurant on Super Bowl Sunday! People were actually yelling at each other to have a conversation! We never mind paying high prices for food as long as it is very good and the service and ambiance are excellent!We will go back but NEVER on a Saturday night!For a 250.00 bill we would like to at least be able to hold a conversation!"

"We had dined here for our 25th Wedding Anniversary and had a wonderful time. We celebrated our 27th anniverary at The Palms this past saturday, April 20th, and had a less than acceptable time. Reservations for 7:15. Waited 20 minutes. We were sat at the table next to the waiters station which was probably the worst seat in the place. It was so noisy that we couldn't even carry on a converstaion accross the table. Our waiter was less than enthusiastic and we had to ask for a cocktail. When the lobsters were brought out a very kind bus person de-shelled them for us. We asked for a second cocktail and our waiter "forgot". It was less than a memorable dinner."

"Celebrated my wife's birthday. From our arrival through coffee the staff was attentive while being just far enough out of sight as to not be intrusive.
The food was excellent. We shared the Scallops wrapped in Bacon, maybe the best we have ever had and the GIGI salad which could easily be a meal for one. The Bone-in Rib Eye was cooked perfectly and the Chilean Sea Bass was delicious.
Great night out and highly recommend the Palm for that special evening."

"We ate at the Palm to celebrate my husband's birthday. Hadn't been there for awhile but were not disappointed. It was great, as always! We were glad to see that some of the salads/sides had two size options available. This made it better for two people to enjoy a full meal without having a lot of food leftover. We don't live close. "The palm is one of my favorite restaurants. My only concern is they do not offer a large enough variety of wines by the glass. My wife drinks white. I drink red. We are both limited in the wines we may order as most are only available by the bottle."

They had a special of a lobster dinner for 2. This was nowhere on the menu- we had to ask, leading us to beleive they discouraged this selection.
I asked for more flat bread & never rec'd it. Lobster was OK. We ordered flash fried asparagus which were delicious & goat cheese mashed potatoes, which were tasteless.My instant are better

"My mom and I got the prix fix menu. We had the lobster bisque, heavenly, lobster to split, little tough but good, and the brussel sprouts and creamed spinach. Neither of us really cared for the way our veggies were cooked but all is in this was a good experience. We would definitely go again."

"Overall great food and service. My main complaint is that the place was very loud because of several groups of guys that were screming and yelling at each other. To me they were out of control and this made the place hard to casual conversation. I would have expected to that management would have said something, but instead they were allowed the guys to be loud the entire time. Made the experience less than what I would have expected."

"Great meat at a top drawer Steakhouse with service to match! It is not cheap, but no one goes to high end steakhouses looking to pinch pennies. Overall, the prices are comparable to their competition, but the quality was better. Service was good, but was a little too casual for the prices. Mostly it seemed as though the servers were not communicating well with each other, but we didn't suffer for it. Can't wait to be back in AC for a return visit!"

"We have been here many times. We went for restaurant week and it was very good. We both got the 9oz filet offer. It was a full 3 course meal for 35 dollars. The food never disappoints. The service was a little slow but they packed in the middle of the week for AC restaurant week. I am happy they are doing so well."

"I love the relaxed feel of this place - dimly lite with a cozy feel despite it's size. The filet was amazing as usual, so were the mash potatoes and cream of spinach. One of my dinner mates hated the lobster bisque, he said "I had better lobster bisque out of a can". He also didn't enjoy the asparagus. The broiled lobster my wife and I shared was a bit tough but overall decent. Service was well-timed and friendly, the wine list was expansive. I have been to The Palm several times before and will definitely be back again."
