"Had a 16 ounce strip steak. The meat was excellent and properly cooked BUT, there was a streak of gristle along one side that made for unpleasant eating. We have noticed this before at the Palm. They should TRIM the steak before they cook it as it is difficult to see the gristle at table."

"We ordered the steak and lobster special. While it sounded delicious, unfortunately the crab stuffed lobster tail was extremely lackluster. The lobster was so overcooked it was crunchy and the "crab"stuffing didn't have any crab that we could find. Would not order again. My steak was not cooked as ordered - it was too rare - not good for an establishment that calls itself a steak expert."

"It's a steakhouse. There is a million of them so it's hard to stand out. The food we cooked perfectly and tasted great. Compared to other steakhouses I feel the food is a bit over valued. I probably wouldn't return on my own accord, maybe if a group of friends were going. The atmosphere is maybe a step above Outback. But if you prefer a more lively restaurant this is for you. I like something a little more low key like Ruths' Chris which I would say the food is exactly the same but maybe a few dollars less expensive."

"Noise level was unacceptable in comparison to other Palm locations. The service was uneven as 3 of us received entrees and the other 2 in our party waited 10 minutes. It took aboout half an hour to receive our appetizers and we were told that they were 'behind on the salads'. No one offered us a 2nd round of drinks. All in all, this was a substandard experience for the Palm and we would not likely return to this Palm location. We've dined at the Palm in NY, Las Vegas, Boston and LA and all of these locations were superior. In addition, our table was in the center of the restaurant and all of the waiter/waitress and washroom traffic seemed to surround us at various times during our meal. This was not a good experience."

"As always a outstanding restaurant, while to some may be pricey, you have the quality,food, and service that you will not mind. Has a great deal on now buy a 250$ gift certificate and get another personal one for $50. I think the best thing to say is they provide consistency every time that we have been there. We use this restaurant as much as possible for our "special nites"!"

"Went for my birthday dinner. Had a 4lb grilled lobster that was wonderful. Love that they crack the claws for you. The creamed spinach and shoe string onion rings were wonderful and the house Chardonnay was surprisingly very good. Don't expect that from a house wine. We were dining early (5:00pm) so there wasn't much ambiance and alot of help standing around so not good energy. Only thing I was disappointed about were the two men standing out front waiting to valet. I was trying to help my mother who is on full time oxygen up the steps and into the restaurant and they didn't bother to get the door or offer to help me carry the tank up. When we came out, they didn't help. Shame on them!"

"food are soso. at $46 steak, it was dry and came on a big plate with nothing on it but the steak. i realy don't think that is worth any where even close to pollo tropical grill. the shrimp are so greasy. we have to keep eating the bread from the bread basket to de-grease."

"Overall, I liked my experience at The Palm. We went here for Thanksgiving. The staff was very nice and jovial. Admittedely, I hadn't been to The Palm in about 3.5 years as i had been going to Capital Grille, Smith & Wolensky , Prime 112 and Ocean Prime. I thought the steak was very good--however, the quality of the shrimp cocktail and Shrimp Saute was "cruise-ship" quality. The shrimp was translucent and slimy. For $18 for s Shrimp cocktail and $31 for the Shrimp Saute, I expected top quality shrimp--not Red- Lobster"

"we went there for Prime Rib which is their signature offering and having been to the one in DC prior, our group was looking forward to it. We ordered wine, salads, and Prime Rib (we were three people), half an hour later after we had our salads, the waiter came to tell us that they had run out of Prime Rib! We told him how dissapointed we were to which he responded "it is what it is" choose something else, we ended up ordering New York Strip steak which was tasty, however, the comment by the waiter, the lack of managment response was appaling."
