"I had a great dinner last week at the Palm, and the NY Strip was better than the one I had at Wolfgang's Steak House the previous weekend. Service was friendly but not intrusive and very helpful. Overall a very good experience at one of the traditional destination dining spots in LA."

"With the departure of Cedric, their former GM, I am not sure the West Hollywood Palm will ever be the same. The Palm has gone corporate! Why go there when you can go to Flemings, Ruths Chris or any of the other chains? The family atmosphere created for good customers is over. Already, I was charged for the $30 per bottle corkage fee - I do not mind a corkage fee when it is reasonable and there is a notable wine list that I have decided to ignore, but the Palm's wine list is expensive and not notable.
I hope the West Hollywood Palm does not become the "post Gigi years" again...We will miss Cedric."

"We had a great dinner with fabulous drinks, fresh crab and shrimp, and delicious steaks. It makes me so happy that this place has been so reliably excellent for so many years. I remember coming here as a kid with my parents and grandparents and I love that it hasn't changed. Great quality food, a little pricey but worth it for the ambience and the special treat of dining here."

"On Friday, Oklahoma City area is getting hit AGAIN by a tornado! I asked the bartender to change the channel. Gunner said, "No problem." I have been visiting this location since 1981. Been several times to the locations in Westend in Dallas and the one in Las Vegas. In 1999 I had the opportunity to eat at the original in NYC. I have never been disappointed in the service or food in any city! Thank you people for taking care of us in LA the other day! Everyone get's an 11 out of 10!!!! Food has always been fantastic. (Sorry Morton's) Kudos go to the General Manager who made it a point to introduce herself and make us feel at home! Thank you Tanya!!!!"

Six and my partiy shared a bone-in rib eye steak that was the best steak we've ever had ( and we've been to many very reputable steakhouses). We shared 4 lb lobsters as well and had an incredible feast. The waiter was very knowledgeable and helpful."

"We've been coming to Palm for many years now. Service is always top notch and the lobster is amazing. Definitely become a 837 member. It's a one time cost of $25 but, you receive a $25 coupon for your next visit. As well, you're eligible for member only specials, a 4 lb lobster every year on your birthday and you can accumulate points for gifts."

"If you want lobster......then this is the only place in California to get it. My wife and I shared a 4 pound lobster with salads and sides. They had their summer special going on and this is an exceptional deal for $79.99 per couple. We decided to go surf and turf and ordered a steak to share with the lobster. A true delight!"

"I am a dedicated 837 Club memeber to the Palm. I must say that this particular Palm for the last 2 years was absolultely terrible food quality and even got in trouble and exposed to terrible kitchen practices. I decided to take my annual free entree cert. ( you get if you join the 837 club for your bday) to the Palm in my city- this one. "We had steak and lobster, of course, and the food was excellent. We asked for something not on the menu, and the chef accommodated us in grand style. Our waiter was right on with his selections and service and his personality made the evening even more enjoyable. The manager even offered to take our photos, and they weren't bad. "I have been going to the West Hollywood Palm since moving to LA in 1998 and love it. On Saturday, 4/27/13, I had, as ALWAYS,another fantastic evening. Tina showed me my table and I asked about Sean, Asst. Manager, who I have known for a long time and then had the pleasure of Alex as my waiter. I also saw two of my favorite waiters, Daniel and Shel. My hearts of palm salad, ice cold martini, rib eye and mashed potatoes were sublime. I topped it off with key lime pie which was marvelous. I can only dream of my next meal there. Love the West Hollywood Palm and so do the patrons who consider it to be like coming to a Club, or being in New York. Great Manager and staff."

"Eight people in our party. Half of our meals were bad. One was removed from the check. Noisy. Very small children. Hey folks, at $50 a plate, get a baby sitter, or, go to Soup Plantattion. Geeze!!"

"From the moment we walked in we were treated like Special people. We were greeted, seated and served appropriately. Kenny was excellent, meeting are every need. He answered all of our questions and made suggestions when I couldn't make up my mind. And the added touch of the Servers singing "Happy Birthday", was perfect!"

"Classic restaurant that knows what it's about...and, so do the guests. If you want steaks or whole live 3-5 lb. lobsters along with the classic sides (creamed spinach, steak fries, onion rings, ceasar salad, etc.) this is the place to go. No pretension. No apologies. And, No regrets about this recommendation."

"The Palm is a classic. We have been going here for years, and the service and food is impeccable. We started off with the picked crab, and the shrimp cocktail. Best shrimp we have had in years! Then for our mains we had the bone in Rib-Eye , Chicken Parmesean and Green Beans, all delicious! We also got the 7 layer chocolate cake with vanilla ice cream that was too die for!
Everything was A+ and our waiter was the best. Very attentive, knowledgable and fast."
