"We enjoyed our food at the palm. Only 2 issues caused us to have a less than outstanding experience. 1. Seating. The booths are miserable. They are straight backed, flat seat torture chambers that make you want to eat quickly and get out!! 2. The isle between our booth and the ones across from us seemed to be a main thoroughfare with more traffic than the Golden Gate bridge during rush hour. Very loud, annoying."

"I live 125 miles from this Palm and try to dine here whenever I'm in their neighborhood. If that means only 2 or 3 times per year, the serving staff always remembers me regardless of my lack of frequency. Oh sure, the food is more than great, but to feel like good friends are having you to dinner is the best."

"We generally dine at the Palm for our anniversary, although I have also dined separately for business. The food quality is always outstanding, and the experience and ambiance classy, without being stuffy. They are always consistent, and offer some wonderful specials that don't break the bank. They combine the offerings of a traditional steakhouse, combined with high quality seafood and Italian dishes- all done in a non-pretentious style."

"We were excited to dine at the "famous" Palm, but were sorely disappointed. The steak was just ok, and the service was not great. We told the server that our friend's birthday was on Monday, and her only response was "well come back on Monday". The restaurant seemed to rely on their history rather than their food to make an impression. We would not go back."

"We had Mothers' Day brunch at the Palm, and I was very disappointed. First of all we were seated in an area where there were no other patrons. Near the end of our meal two other tables were occupied. We had dined at The palm several times in the past and had aways been pleased. Their signature bisque is something I've aways enjoyed. On that day it was not good and I only ate a few spoonfuls. Nor was my main dish up to standard. My dining companion's prime rib was rare instead of medium as he ordered it. He sent it back, and it was still not cooked to medium. The key lime pie was the only part of the meal that I found palatable. We were given a certificate for a discount on our next visit. I don't know that I will use it."

"The service is terrific at the palm. The ambiance is dated and the menu is a classic steakhouse but the food is good - their scalloped potatoes made with rectangular chunks of potato instead of the typical sliced was a real treat.
Their wine list needs some help but we were able to find a nice Argyl Pinot that was reasonably priced.
All i all it was good but for the money I'd choose Capital Grille every time."

"My husband and I went to the Palm resturant here in Denver on Sunday 5/12/13. We had reservations, and were told that they were on a reservation only status".
To my mind this means the resturant knows how may people will be there to dine, how much wait staff will be needed and how much food will be needed.
Service was rushed, waiters harried and hurried, we observed delays in tables being cleared off and reset.
How does a upscale resturant "run out of Prime rib" at 1:30 pm when the brunch was to run until 3 pm? They appeared to be short staffed and shortage of food items.
We have eaten at the Palm in NY and also Las Vegas and have always found it well staffed and having all menu items. Prob. will not eat here again."

"Our party of 5 were seated in the back small room reserved for large parties, with several large parties. It was loud & tight. The pleasant waitress took our order right away. Drinks, regular & bar took 20min. The waitress was very apologetic & it was busy. Another 20min for salad. When the food did finally come it was good & our order was correct. All time between courses was too long. 2 hours of difficult conversation & what seemed like endless waiting we left. Overall, we were very disappointed. Mother's Day they should have been prepared to be that busy since they were booked at that time a week in advance. Our location was as if we were an after thought squeezed in. It was not the special lunch we had hoped for our out of town guests."

"I had been a couple of times for executive luncheons and understood that the service would be slow because of the size of the luncheon. I figured that mgmt would have been prepared for Mothers Day and they were not. Plenty of servers but not enough personal in the kitchen. Our table of eight waited more than 55 minutes and for what?? A pancake as hard as a Hockey puck, filet medallions that were medium rare, not medium, hash browns drenched in oil, they looked like soup, lobster that was chewy and tough. Our cappuccinos came ten minutes after they brought out our cheese cakes. With the location of the restaurant and the name, I didn't expect the food quality to be so poor. Brown Palace for sure next year, sorry."

"We had Mother's Day reservations for our family of eight and we were not seated for another 30 minutes as others were seated before us. Apparently the hostess fogot to have us seated even tho we were standing right in front of her. Once we broght it to her attention we were quickly seated. We did have some problems with overcooked fllet mignon (well done instead of medium) and children's plates were brought out for the adults. Everything was quickly corrected along with many appologies and a discount on our meal. Overall we had a great time and a great meal and plan to try it again when it's not a busy holiday!"

"Food was excellent. Service started off very good but then our waitress disappeared until almost the end of our dining experience. We were disappointed that on a Holiday Weekend (Saturday night of Mother's Day) that so many things they were "out of" such as: Lobster, spinach, asparagus. A place of this caliber and price should not have to tell their clientele that something is unavailable on the menu. It is what you remember!"

"The power lunch spot in Denver. Food and service constantly very good. Meals never dissappoint even with the above Denver average tariff. However portion size, quality and prestige make up for the tariff when compared to othee dining spots in Downtown Denver. If looking for a good meal, business oriented ambiance and valet parking...Of note, the see and be seen regulars are seated in the front section of the restaurant, the rest of us in the rear or as we comment in the trade "Outer Siberia". . Be sure when reserving for lunch to rq. "front of the house", for dinner, rear section can be a nice option i.e. big tables however being a native NY'er and regular at Palm Too (Gus) for 20+ years...guess I am enough of a power player in Denver."

"Came here due to receiving a coupon in the mail at work. My coworker and I each had the Power Lunch - appetizer, entree, and dessert from a fixed menu. Even though the menu was fixed, the choices were first-rate (including the Fish of the Day and filet mignon). The food was delicious and the portions were generous. The prices are a little steep for lunch, but everything was so tasty that it was worth the extra cost. My only complaint is that the service was a little too attentive - they removed the bread basket while it was still half-full! :)"

"Loved the food choice menu. You pick one of about 5 appetizers, one of about 8 entree choices, and 1 of 2 desserts. This made ordering much easier, especially for the kids. The portion sizes were appropriate so i didnt feel like a stuffed cow when i left! And I liked that there was not a buffet table, which is hard with kids too. They brought everything to the table. Leisurely pace. It took almost 2 hours so not rushed which is okay for Easter brunch. But if in a hurry, not the place for you. Food was not fantastic, but still good. Key lime pie was divine. it was a little bit on the noisier side, but that was okay for us. If the baby fussed, no one noticed."
