Every day funk is what going Rogue is all about. Crazy tall light fixtures and walls that glow set against sand-blasted brick and well-worn hardwood floors.
Menu-wise, going Rogue means doing things in the kitchen others said couldn’t be done. Like a completely fresh burger served medium-rare to make it the juiciest and best tasting in town. Or corn-dogs your not supposed to want but secretly crave.
Going Rogue means your horizons are greater than the “usual suspects” of chain restaurants. Rogue gives it’s customer an eclectic enough offering of food and surroundings, that they can feel and be themselves. You can go Rogue when you’re slumming, you can go Rogue when you need to impress. You can go Rogue with a date, your mates or with your boss.
Best of all, you can afford to go Rogue every day of the week. Need a stiff drink and tasty meal to get you through your daily grind and have enough left over to do it all again tomorrow? Go Rogue.
"Rogue is a neighbourhood local not to be overlooked. Whether it's a big group lunch, after work drinks or a quick lunch, Rogue is reliable and convenient. I was there for lunch with a friend and business associate on a busy schedule. Rogue's menu had enough variety to offer us small, healthy bites at lunchtime. Conveniently located near Waterfront station, it was ideal for our busy day!"

"I love this restaurant for its food and great ambience. I love how it feels 5 star but you can be casual just the same. The food was picture perfect and tasted just as excellent. Love this place and will come back."

"Surprisingly the service was pretty great and steady considering it was Thursday after work hours. I had phoned to let Rouge that we were going to be 10 minutes late, which they had really appreciated and were able to accommodate. Once we got there, we were sat right away but we had no drink menus at our table, we waited for about 10-15 minutes until another server got our attention, but again, after work on a Thirsty Thursday it was pretty steady . The atmosphere was busy, energetic and upbeat. Highly suggest the nachos to start. Who knew mango would be such a great pairing on nachos."

"The chairs are incredibly uncomfortable. When I asked for a different chair (the new one was slightly better), the waitress mentioned it was a common problem. You should invest in new chairs. I know I didn't want to linger over coffee or drinks since I was uncomfortable."

"It's a nice place though where our table was I felt like we were in a high traffic zone with food and people constantly going by us on both sides of the table. We were a table of 6 and I think most of the table enjoyed their meal. I had the turkey sandwich and I found it quite dry. The bellini was excellent though. Service was great!"

"It just seems like another chain restaurant to me, like earls or cactus club. There's nothing special about Rogue that would make you seek it out as a destination restaurant. It's fine for a business lunch."

"We had a wonderful dinner at Rogue. The food was delicious and the place was great. Our service during this visit, however, could have been a bit better as we had to flag the server down a few times and it wasn't even a busy Sunday night.
Even still, I strongly recommend this place as it is one of my friends' fave dinner spots downtown."

"Nice experience here. Needed a place to eat before the boss arrived in Vancouver for work. I wanted a few beers and a decent meal within walking distance of our hotel. Sure enough, I found a place I was happy with. Nice beer selection (though unfortunately no affiliation with the Rogue brewery) and some good food. Nothing spectacular, but I was happy with my burger and beers while watching some sports at the bar. Bartenders were friendly and let me know a bit about the city of Vancouver for my stay."

"Went for Valentines Dinner and the food was very bland, had the halibut and wasn't the greatest that I've had. Wouldn't go back for a dinner, but the service was great..Good place for appies and drinks maybe...."

"Amazing atmosphere and decor in this restaurant. The fish tacos were sub-par (soggy and lacking flavor). The service was somewhat slow but the server was friendly."

"Very ordinary restaurant. Food had nothing special and the Desert Menu has only 4 items. Service is very good but other than that, not much to remember. Not a place to recommend and I'm surprised that is part of OpenTable program."

"We went during Dine out, thinking this was a good time to try the restaurant. We went with friends and the first thing the waitress said was that they were out of the desserts, and other stuff on the menu...the food was just ok...they ended up having the dessert but I wouldn't go back."

"For THE best burger in town (perhaps tied with black + blue on Alberni Street) the ROGUE burger is by far the best in the city! So are their delicious fries and their 'nice little salad' :)"

"I've usually been here for drinks and appies, but tried it for lunch and was really happy with our meal, particularly the delicious roasted tomato/basil soup. Fantastic on a rainy day."
