"The service and food were excellent. We had a group of seven for lunch, and everyone enjoyed their meal. LockKeepers' staff is truly one of the best in the area - attentive but not overbearing. I'd recommend the seafood specials or steak - they are prepared very nicely."

"The service was attentive without being disruptive. We all ordered different meals, and all four of us were pleased with our meals. We ordered the Bolognese, Tommy's Ravioli, Grilled Atlantic Salmon, and a special of the day, Seafood Risotto with Lobster tail. The dining room was busy, but still quiet. We did not order appetizers or salads, as we had been there once before and knew that the servings were generous without being overwhelming."

"The food, service, wine and price points were all terrific. The only negative for me was the parking. There very few spots close to the restaurant. Lockeepers does offer free valet parking, but I do not leave my keys or vehicle with strangers."

"My husband and I went there for my 30th birthday. We both had the strip steak. The meat was tender and perfectly seasoned, the tomato bearnaise sauce was fantastic, and the vegetables were great! Our server was very polite and infomative. The ambiance was perfect for a special evening. It was one of the best meals I've ever had, we will definitely come back!"

"We had a wonderful dining experience celebrating my wife's birthday. I asked for outdoor seating when I placed my reservation through Open Table and we were seated outdoors with a great view of the water and landscape. Our waiter was fantastic and very attentive to our needs and wants. I ordered Yellow Fin Tuna and it was perfectly prepared. Everyone was very pleased with their choices. I highly recommend this restaurant!"

"Our waiter was nice, courteous and provided great suggestions while explaining the menu. He seemed to always check on the table at the same moment we needed something but wasn't 'hovering' or interrupting our meal every few minutes. The wine list was very extensive. We both enjoyed our salads and my wife loved the beet salad's presentation and taste. For our main meals we both ordered a bone in rib-eye. The steak was seasoned and cooked perfectly. My only critical critique of the dinner is that the steak came out with a pepper sauce on the plate and to be honest the steak was so good it didn't need a sauce. Higher on the price range but you get what you pay for and for that I highly recommend Lockkeepers."

"This was our first (and certainly not last) visit to LockKeepers. The restaurant was beautifully decorated and the wait staff was exceptional. We were sat quickly, immediately brought bread and water and ordered a few glasses of wine. The food was even more amazing, we started with the calamari (which was delicious) and for dinner we both had different steak entrees and they were uniquely prepared with wonderful fresh ingredients. It can be difficult to prepare a steak to each individual person's definition of color and temperature but I must say our steaks were perfect! To finish off our meal we enjoyed gelato and coffee and left the restaurant full and happy, we would recommend to anyone and will be back with friends soon!"

"Scallop and stripe bass special entrees were very good. However, the filet and ribeye special entrees were not up to par with a restaurant of this quality. Filet was not tender, and the ribeye grisly and very fatty, even for a ribeye, certainly not steak house quality. Desserts were also 50/50. The chocolate peanut butter sundae was delicious, but the carrot cake was cold, hard and solid, not far from being frozen; again, not up to quality restaurant standard. Service was very attentive without being overbearing."

"LockKeepers was the best choice for a birthday lunch for my aunts who are 88 and 93. Even though the restaurant was filled, it was very easy to have a conversation with those who have some hearing issues. The wait staff were attentive, friendly, and always there when needed, but in no way did we feel rushed by them. They couldn't do enough for us. The food, of course, was not only delicious, but also the presentation was elegant and unique(my aunt and I had lasagna presented in the cast iron baking pan--keeping it hot). Their homemade pasta cannot be beat. The portions were more than generous for a lunch menu, giving great value for the dollar. LockKeepers has it all: Elegance, good food, value, and relaxed comfort."

"Went to LockSkeepers for the first time Easter Sunday. Being from Boston we looked forward to a seafood meal and was not disapointed. He calamari was cooked perfectly and it was certainly fresh. I had the seafood primavera and it was delicious. Portions are generous. We asked to have the time changed at the last minute and the restaurant was very accommodating even on Easter Sunday. "We happened to be near LockKeepers and were glad that we chose to give it a try. Our server, Sarah did a wonderful job. We had the beef carpaccio for appetizer; prepared in the usual way. We tried both the Garganelli, a pasta with shrimp and basil pesto and also the Bolognese. The homemade pasta was outstanding; as good as you will find. For entre we had the Veal Marsala that was also great. If you have the opportunity, The LockKeeper is a must."

"I would say one of if not the best dining experiences I've ever had. The staff was so very attentive and courteous. The ambiance and atmosphere was pretty magical. The food was fantastic and done to perfection. The poached pear salad was to die for. I'll be craving that again very soon I'm sure. The Braised Scallops and Lobster Ravioli entrees were tremendous. "It was so nice to get together with old friends to catch up and be able to hear the conversation at our table. We keep these more "upscale" dining experiences to a minimum each year, even though we'd love to do it more often. Loved my salmon with a generous serving of kale. We were pleasantly surprised with the three hours we spent there. Additionally, we were not feeling like that were trying to rush us out to turn over tables. Overall, a wonderful evening in every regard."

"Luxury right from the start... We were greeted by complimentary valet parking, coat check, and immediate seating. We enjoyed the fresh bread as we waited for our outstanding tomato basil soup and iceberg wedge salad. Our server was very informative and had no problem catering to my no black pepper request. We both ordered the filet and LOVED it! Cooked perfectly! I recommend trading out the potato cakes for the garlic mashed potatoes. Delicious. In all fairness, it was a bit pricey. However, the service, ambiance, and quality of the food made it worth the price. I hope to go back some day."

"We went there for my wife's birthday. Although it was crowded, the noise level was not high, perhaps due to the very high ceiling. The waitress was attentive to us and the food was excellent. It's not the cheapest place around but certainly not the most expensive either. I chose it in part because the reviews were more consistently good than most other upscale restaurants."

"This was our third trip to this restaurant. What a disappointment! Our son came in from L.A. and we had been impressed in the past, but this will be our last trip here! I had the cold couscous salad, which was very good, my son had the Caesar salad which appeared limp and pre-prepared, my husband had the mussels which were just okay. My husband had the long bone steak special, which was fatty; I had the medallions, and my son the center cut filet. The food was all luke warm and my son had to send his steak back because it was rare instead of medium. The entire meal was mediocre, not up to their usual standards. If our son had not been present, the entIre meal would have been sent back."

"We have been to LockKeepers a number of times and it's been consistently good. This time I had the Chicken Scaloppini and it was quite good. We went for the Antipasto Board as an appetizer and we were disappointed with that. They have an excellent wine list and our low-priced wine was good. Our waitress was excellent. They had a trainee with her on a Saturday night. I always question why they do that on the busiest night but she was able to avoid that effecting our service. We'll go back."

"My first time there, and I would highly recommend it. It was pricey, but perfect for a special occasion or splurge. The food was all wonderful. The pork chop Saltimbocca was tender and full of flavor, and portions are generous. There's an extensive wine list. I also had the signature Lock 39 cocktail, a light, refreshing mix of Prosecco, housemade limoncello and St Germain liqueur; my new favorite drink.
