"Our table for two was pretty disappointing as it was crammed in a little passageway which had a lot of wait staff traffic.It felt very jammed up against the bit of wall ye t totally exposed on the other side. the food we had ws quite good but the "special drink" that I ordered was a bit lame--missing a key ingredient and pretty watery. I would go back but would make sure to never sit in their weird little tables for 2."

"Food was good, service not so much. Had a new waiter that really could have used some help and guidance. It started fine but ended miserably. Someone asked for a 2nd drink which she never got. He only asked one person at the table if they wanted a box, as he walked away we asked to bring more but still only got one and had to ask for more. We were going to a play at 6:30, at 6:05 I asked for the check and to cancel some other drinks we had order about 10-15 minutes before. Got the check but it still had the extra drinks on it. When we told him it took 10 minutes to get it corrected. We split the bill onto two cards. Mine however also had a $113 tip included! At 6:25 they promised they would fix it as we were forced to run to get to the play"

"Horrible. I will never go back again. We had a dnner reservation for 6:00. We placed our order at 6:10. We got two of our entres at 7:10 and the other one five minutes later. We all three ordered grilled cheese and soup. The Manager told us it takes a long time to make grill cheese. Never again, bad service and people that just do not care! Go somewhere else!"

"In our group of three, the Orange Chicken was the best. The grilled cheese portion was very small but it was tasty and the Fish and Chips was OK, but had NO vegetables. We were there at 4:30pm, when there were very few patrons but we still waited almost a half hour for the food and when we asked for the check it took over ten minutes. So, overall the food was OK, but the service was extremely slow."

"We made a reservation for 6. When we arrived there were many empty tables yet we waited for 15 minutes for a certain section to be cleared. We were confused as to why as there were tables that could be put together for us. It did not seem that these tables were reserved because there were so many of them empty.

Then, we asked about happy hour specials, which there were but you could only get the special by ordering from the bar. My boyfriend didn't feel great after eating their food, possibly too much grease. The location is great because we were seeing a show after dinner at the Performing Arts Center.

This was our second time eating there. The first time my meal was forgotten about in which the manager compensated with a free m"

"Overall the experience at The Corner Office was great. It has a great vibe and the drinks are wonderful. I ate the Lobster Mac & Cheese and it was amazing, even getting better when the server suggested putting seracha on top! My boyfriend ordered a beef sandwich and said it was good. I was a bit disappointed with the house side salad as it was $6 and there really was nothing too it. But all in all I really enjoyed myself and will go back again."

"Went to The Corner Office for Denver Restaurant week. It seems like it would be an excellent after work Happy Hour place.

Compared to the other restaurant I went to for restaurant week - there was not as much food in each portion. The food was pretty good - but I'm not sure we fully got our moneys worth.

I would try this place again but wouldn't use the Res week menu. They had a very interesting drink selection and I would be a good place to start a Thursday or Friday night after work."

"This is where you come when you want to see and be seen (or should I say "scene"?) The bar was hopping, and although the lounge area was nearly empty, I would imagine that it's filled to the brim by the happy hour crowd on weekdays. My group went for Denver Restaurant Week and the food was good but not fabulous. All of us agreed we wanted to come back and explore the regular menu, especially with items like chicken and waffles and lobster mac and cheese."

"Our food was great, especially the Cuban sandwich. All the entrees didn't come out at the same time (only a party of four), but it was delicious and hot when it got there. "Denver Restaurant Week so apparently they wanted to keep profit margin high and give diners very small portions. The food was OK - nothing super special. Drinks were very good though. "It was wonderful. Whenever we treat ourselves to a show downtown, we try to also book a reservation here. The food never disappoints and is always creative and super yummy. There were a few hiccups in the kitchen- but it was handled so well by our server. He was the best and very attentive even though it was progressively busier. We had a party of 6 and 4 members from the party had never been there before. They left very happy- thanks a million for making our girls day out end on a high and delicious note! Plus the women's room is something you have to see for yourself!"

"Everything was wondersful, from the service, to the food, to the ambiance. We ended up having seven for dinner instead of the 4 we originally made the reservation for. I added two more the day before our reservation, and one more about an hour before. "My date and I loved The Corner Office. Parking in The Curtis Hotel was ultra-convenient. The restaurant was a vibrant, energetic place buzzing with happy people. Excellent menu with options for a wide range of tastes. Service was prompt, courteous and friendly. The place was full but our orders were filled in a timely fashion. Then, we were off to the opera, an easy walk across the street. It's perfect for dinner before and dessert and drinks after shows at the Denver Center for the Performing Arts."

"I love the Corner Office restaurant for theatre nights. The menu is diverse and everything I have ordered has been very delicious and enjoyable. What I love the most is the fun martini menu, which includes some very interesting combinations (really great to go with a nice appetizer while you are looking over the menu). The food arrives at the table served in unique dishes and fun containers. So, whether you are only wanting a bowl of cereal or a piece of salmon or a steak....they deliver!"

"I have eaten at The Corner Office on several occasions prior to a performance at the DCPA. What started out as a fun and quirky experience has steadily been declining. Twice I have been seated in the back room when I have had a reservation which, to me, feels like the "banquet room" instead of the unique ambiance of this restaurant. The wait staff back there also does not seem to be as much on the ball, even when you tell them that you have theater tickets and would like things moved along a bit. The final straw was when I was served my $9 martini in an on-the-rocks glass. Sorry guys, but there are other quality restaurants in the area to choose from - I'll be checking them out next time"

"This is more of a bar scene than a restaurant. The salmon was very good, and so were the sweet potato fries served with the pork sliders. The risotto was forgetable, especially after it was delivered with the wrong side of shrimp. The waitress was very amenable and corrected it, and brought us another dish. She was way over taxed, though, and we had to flag her down on several occasions. I will say the drinks were terrific, and I think this is their specialty. The food is just a side. Good for pre-theater, which is why we chose it."

"Two weeks in a row and we were not disappointed. The creamy risotto was a bowl of love. We had desserts - walnut bread pudding with caramel and vanilla ice cream and almond joy macaroon with coconut ice cream. Both were divine. Good service topped off a great meal. Can't wait to have a reason to return!"

"Great food in a fun atmosphere. The only complaint was that our server forgot our order of fries, which we wanted before our meal. By the time they arrived (well into our meal) we didn't want/need them. It would've been nice if the served comped the fries given the tardiness. Otherwise, we had a great experience -- including the two 7 year olds in our party (who got cotton candy with their kids' meals)."

"I thought the food was good, the setting was cool and very typical boutique hotel chic but nothing popped. Nothing amazed. I thought i'd be amazed. I cant give a bad review at all though. Our server was fun and personable, like I said the food was delicious and had a few unusual items on it. The tangine with couscous and the lamb curry were both outstanding. Chicken quesadilla, cheesecake, sake, etc and you begin to get a feel for how diverse the menu is. Perhaps next time I'll check out a few more cocktails and let the good times roll."

"We visited Corner Office before the "CATS" Matinee performance and my daughter had the grilled cheese sandwich with the soup. We had the turkey sandwich and the chicken and a salad. "we went here for new year's and had a great experience. while the hostess was not very friendly or helpful (she tried to seat us at a tiny table and didn't want to give us a booth); our waiter turned things around and made our experience fantastic. i cannot say enough good things about Max - he went out of his way to help. the tapas menu was original and very tasty. we were quite hungry, so a bit concerned when we saw the regular menu was not available. after trying 6 or 7 items; we were completely satisfied -the food was excellent and it was fun to try so many different things. and our bill was about half of what we would have paid elsewhere! kudos to the corner office..."

"Service was outstanding as we went there before the theater and had a timing deadline.... our server totally worked with us. We wanted the crabcake appetizer,and they added a 4th crabcake no problem so we could all have one. My son-in-law's drink was called a "Paper Shredder" and he LOVED it. I had the lobster mac and cheese (fabulous) and my husband had the fried chicken & waffles.....that was unbelievably good. (I've heard about it before on the shows on Food Network and "now I get it". He was VERY pleased with this choice.)

The restaurant is right across from the theatre so that was very convenient. I'm glad we had reservations because it was packed when we arrived (5:30pm). We will definitely go here again!"

"The service was well below what was expected. We had to ask several times for refills on drinks, I asked for a side of ranch after asking 2 more times I finally got it when I was almost done w/ my dinner. The waiter asked if we wanted dessert and we said no just our check, he came back 10mins later w/ no check and asked again if we wanted dessert...we still didn't. When he finally dropped off our check, it wasn't actually our check. So we waited longer to get the correct check. After all this, they marked us down as a "No Show" for our reservation and required us to send in a copy of our receipt to be credited the points on OpenTable."

"food was pretty average...maybe a bit below. It's the third time i've had a below average meal there. I know I won't make it to a fourth. Such a shame since it's so convenient to DCPA. "This place has a lot of potential, but unfortunately the food and the service are letting them down. The host who greeted us was quite rude and he wanted to seat us at a table the size of a shoe box when the dining room was only 35-40% full. The Schezuan fries are a good idea and would probably have tasted good had they not been completely burnt. I'm surprised they were allowed out of the kitchen as burnt as they were (they were black), clearly no one bothered to check them. The crab pad thai is also probably a good idea, but the crab used was very obviously cheap and canned, which gave the whole dish the flavor of aluminum and iodine. In all, this was a terrible dining experience in an otherwise beautiful restaurant."

"Our expectations of The Corner Office fell way short. It was chaotic from the moment we walked in the restaurant. The hostess was confused, even though we had an Open Table reservation, and she couldn't pull it together without our help. Our server was extremely slow and not very attentive. We had to get up from the table more than once to ask him for something. We arrived and were seated at 6:30, and were trying to catch an 8:00 show across the street. Finally, at 8:15 we hunted down our server to give him our credit card because we had yet to receive our bill. The food was bland (especially the risotto), and ho hum, at best. The Corner Office is really loud, and not ideal for dinner conversation. Better suited for happy hour."
