"It's a gem. Great for a casual dinner and romantic for a date. My only complaint would be I didn't care for their drinks. I didn't have wine. But i had a raspberry mojito. Kinda bland. not much raspberry flavor. My girlfriend had the drink special which was a mixed drink with rum in it. I tried this also and wasn't a fan. The food was great though."

"Gabrielle's has it all, and offers it up in a professional, esthetic manner. Service was attentive, yet unobtrusive. Food quality was exceptional, from the soup of the day, black bean, perfect in smoky flavor and texture, to the mahi-mahi special, every bite commanding our attention, perfectly done, juicy fish with lump crabmeat, squid and veggies in a Japanese-inspired sauce; just magnificent blending of flavor, color and texture. Even the ordinary-sounding shredded romaine salad was wonderful: Obviously very fresh ingredients tossed in a superb creamy garlic dressing. All the nice touches, from a variety of warm breads to frequently refilled water glasses were present in this attractive and spotlessly clean restaurant."

"Went for Mother's Day brunch but ordered off Entree selections. The Pan Roasted Salmon was prepared to perfection - don't know how the chef did it, but kudo's. Cucumber/Crab/Mango salad accompanying the fish was unique and quite good. My wife rarely send compliments to the chef. This time she did.
Service was friendly. The restaurant is a comfortable setting - never felt rushed or impatient."

"Overall, we enjoyed our dinner. We had a resevation for 7:00 but had to wait. The bar is small and busy with people primarilty eating at the bar. The service was slow and it was probably due to lack of staff. The calamari appetizer was good but the breading was a little heavy. The dressing for the green salad was uneventful. The steak and fish entrees were very good. The risotto was good or okay depending on who liked it but it was salty. They have a nice wine list and not overly pricey. Did not like the sidecar as it was too sweet. The desserts were very good."

"Lovely and romantic restaurant with upscale food and service. Great wine list. Martinis are very good as are all the cocktails they serve. Interesting and diverse menu. "Very disappointed with the overall expeirence at Gabrielles. The hostess sat us down and right away bread and water were brought to our table. I thought its starting out ok, but then we waited and waited and waited. No on came to ask for our drink order, we were ignored for over 30 minutes. By this time the bread and water guy stopped to refill our water glasses, I asked him if he could take our drink order. He told us he would check, still another 10 minutes elasped and no service. I finally stopped a gentleman by the name of Edgar if he could send our waiter over to take our drink order. He informed us he was our waiter and there was mix up as to who was covering our table. This to me show's very poor management."

"We arrived early (7) and were courteously accommodated by being seated. Wine list very good. The tomato/squash soup brought 25 minutes after ordering. Bacon forgotten, but brought 3 minutes afterward by alert staff member. Complete soup was WONDERFUL!! The salads came 20 minutes after the soup cleared. The salads fresh and good (Arugula). Entres came 45-50 minutes after salads. My husband: crab appetizer: SALTY, with much TOO MUCH CHEESE SAUCE. My lobster/noodles overwhelmed/sauce. Neither well presented. Mediocre/distracted/slow service. Water guy GREAT! Food OVER-SAUCED. Chef did not allow great ingredients to shine. Noisy. PRICEY. We were the last to leave (1030) (We had long drives (Canton/Mystic) and I possibly won't be back."

"We love eating at Gabrielle's! The food is always delicious and so beautifully presented. Our waiter, Edgar, was attentive with an added great sense of humor.
We invited our family to join us and they said they too would come again. "We have found Gabriel's a reliably good restaurant for years. We had salads and small plates this time. Salads were delicious and generous The fried oysters were crispy and plump and juicy, mussels were delicious in a typical spicy Mediterranean type broth.the pizza had a generous amount of sausage and ricotta(!) cheese. The crab tortolini were disappointing as the stuffing was bready and didn't taste much like crab. It's probably good that there were a scant 3 of them. The other portions were very generous. The staff were attentive and accommodating, making last minute arrangement for an extra guest in our party."

"Every time we make the drive(35-40min) to have dinner at Gabrielle's I'm reminded what a very good restaurant this is. We sat away from the front entrance towards the north wall so we were away from any in and out customer movement. Besides the flavor quality and food choices I really like that one gets a relaxed feeling and can have a good conversation with friends without interference from others around you. We did not try the wine list this time but enjoyed mixed drinks made with care to balance in the ingredients....there are some great choices on the bar drink list. My lobster pasta dish was so well lightly flavored that the balance was there with all the ingredients to generate a terrific flavor. A reminder to self...come again!"

"We had dinner on Valentines Day. In every other visit we were treated to first class service. Valentines Day we were not so lucky. It seems our dinner's were forgotten or lost. It took over an hour to get our entres after our salads. We were told a number of times our main course was being plated yet it never showed up. After an hour our waitress informed us that our dinner order had been lost. Though the food at Gabrielle's is fantastic, the experience left us disappointed, especially seeing everyone around us eating and enjoying their meals while we waited. It will be a while before we return to this restaurant."
