"Oysters were excellent, and our server was a gem! The shrimp and goat cheese bignets were fabulous! Clam chowder was "good," but not great. Three of the four of us had the tuna, and loved it. I had the crab stuffed flounder over spinach, and it was divine. All in all, a great first experience at C&S."

"Their lobster special--soup or salad, french fries, 1 1/4 lobster and coleslaw is a great deal. Served as hot as it possible, yet not drowning in water, the lobster was sweet and tender. It is also pre-cracked for easy eating. Service was excellent. A great find!"

"Food was not bad, but check was $200 including tip for lunch for 5 people. 2 of the guests had entree salads, 3 had fish entrees, 4 cups of soup, and 3 soft drinks."

"I happen to stumble upon C&S when shopping at Kroger as it is located in a shopping plaza. Well, let me tell you, I am glad to have stumbled upon this restaurant. Don't let the small space fool you. C&S is big on its service, food and drinks. The bar is vibrant, the food is simply delicious and the service is one of a kind. Try their shrimp and goat cheese beignets (simply the best!!) for an appetizer and Chilean Sea Bass (sooo.... flavorful) for your entree. And yes, don't forget the chopped salad. You will find yourself coming back here more and more until you have tried everything on the menu. I will certainly be back."

"Had dinner with friends and enjoyed everything (as usual) from the freshly baked bread, to the excellent bottle of Pouilly Fuisse wine, then Oysters Rockefeller, Sea Bass, and Softshell Crab special. Our friends both ordered the Flounder. Could not have been more pleased, and also had great service from our waiter, a tall fellow by the name of James Brown."

"This was our 2nd time here. 1st time was pretty good my husband thought it memorable to try again. But UGH! It was Sunday night and we were told immediately that they were out of 3-4 of most popular fish, sea bass etc. Reminder this is seafood restaurant. The waiter said this was common but we thought ridiculous. My shrimp over cooked. Both our Plates were drenched in butter sauce. Also pricey on top. We won't return again."

"Before we were impressed by the food and the ambiance, which recalls old New Orleans eateries. This time the food was uninspired and the waiter a problem. The portions were smaller and the dishes underseasoned and characterless. The waiter didn't provide the sauce I ordered, and told me I hadn't asked for it. The raw oysters were smaller than any we've had before. After the waiter poured our wine, he placed the half bottle in a bucket against the wall. He never refilled our glasses or additional water, so one of us had to walk over to retrieve our wine. We only got bread when, after our dinners came, we asked for it. For a bill of over $300, I expect better service and food that is at least noteworthy."

"First off, the place is surprisingly nice. Not stuffy, pretentious nice, but "wouldn't be out of place to take someone for a very special meal" nice. The details: -Shrimp and Goat Cheese Beignets - the shrimp was not even noticeable, however, these things were light, fluffy bites of deliciousness. Not what I expected. -Grilled oysters - I could've eaten several more plates of these. Outstanding. -Flounder entree - As my wife described it, it's light and creamy, with the perfect amount of parmesan. The spinach it's served on, while simple, was perfect. If I had to pick a nit, I'd say it was light on the crab, but I can overlook that because it was fantastic. -Tuna Entree - also delicious, with a very nice arugula salad."

"Maybe the kitchen was just having an off night or I chose a weak menu option, but when I ate at C&S, the food simply did not strike me as anything special despite being pretty pricey. My flounder was well-cooked but the sauce was utterly unremarkable and the spinach overpowered the entire dish. I chose a sorbet for dessert and it was much, much too sweet.
The service was excellent and the surroundings were attractive enough. It's too bad the food was so unmemorable."

"C&S offers excellent food and helpful service. The service staff was attentive, provided recommendations, and managed the meal from appetizer through dessert. The food has been excellent. The ambiance is a little noisier and generic than I would expect for a fine dining establishment."

"My wife and I eat here frequently. The food is excellent. Service is great. I do think it is a little crowded. The place needs to be bigger. We have yet to have a bad meal here. It is a little pricey but for us it's worth every penny."

"Recommended by business associate. Found restaurant to be a pleasant environment, food was very good, service sound and noise level allowing conversation. Only disappointment was the $95 bottle of french red wine that was barely quaffable. When discussed with waiter, his only response was it was the last bottle they had in cellar and they wouldn't sell anymore to others."

"The food was good however our drink order was mixed up we got appetizers we did not order and then one lobster was brought to us twice undercooked. Everything was corrected or not charged for by the manager but it took away from the experience."

"1st time visitor from out-of-town dining with clients. Food was outstanding, but the waiter (foreign accent, first name began with an "F" - just can't remember it) was over-the-top fantastic and made the meal an event; really a huge difference and I'll definitely be back."

"Service was shaky, nearly every order had an error. Overpriced for portions you receive (even at lunch) but lovely ambiance. This place seems to have gone down since my last visit 2 years ago. I'll wait at least as long before returning again..."

"Arnold and Adrian were exactly the one, two punch that I needed for my very special date. They were outstanding! Their knowledge of the food and wine was exceptional. They made it easy for my date and I to just sit back and enjoy the evening knowing we were in good hands.
The ambiance was awesome! Good food. Good wine. Good drinks. I've had only a handful of perfect dates and this was one of them. My hat is off to the guys that made it possible, Arnold and Adrian.
Great Job Guys and I'll see you again real soon!"

"Not a great experience. The NEW ENGLAND CLAM CHOWDER $8.50 was a large cup/small bowl of thick glop. Seared scallops (about 5) $28.00 and side of carrots $5.00. Overpriced for this entree. Better served cooking this meal at home. Sorry, but true."

"Had the $25 Lobster Special and it was OK, but not great. Just OK for the price. Shoestring French fries were crisp and perfectly salted and the carrot salad was good. We ordered a grilled oyster dish that was less than OK, but edible. Next time, we will just go with their good selection of raw oysters. This is the third time we visited and it is an OK place for food, but not a notch above in a metro Atlanta market where you have a great number of choices of great fish restaurants. The service has always been great, and the ambiance is about average for this type of restaurant. We came here because of convenience and also thought their Lobster special would be a notch better, but were not surprised when it did not come up a notch."

"Our first time experience here was disappointing. The noise level was intense and the food was less than impressive. We started with shrimp and goat cheese beignets which showed no evidence of any shrimp, it seemed to be all cheese. The grilled salmon was served with deeply seared black grill marks which created a burnt smell and taste which completely overwhelmed the taste of fish. It was promptly sent back and the new order arrived within a couple of minutes, which indicated a mass production of certain menu items instead of cooking per order. At the end of the meal our waitress brought us a complimentary dessert - creme brulee, which neither of us like, instead of allowing us to choose. We will not be going back."
