Samba Brazilian Steakhouse
From the moment you walk into Samba, you know for sure this isn't your father’s steakhouse! A dizzying array of sizzling, fire-roasted meats, ranging from Picanha (Brazilian beef sirloin) and tender pork loin, to savory sausages, chicken and lamb, are skewered, slowly roasted over an open flame and then expertly carved right at your table. And as if that wasn’t enough, the mouthwatering churrascaria feast won’t stop until you say so! We pair our succulent meats with an extensive buffet featuring salads, soups, and freshly prepared hot and cold side dishes. Churrascaria roughly translates from the Portuguese word for barbecue, and is a centuries old culinary tradition. At Samba, we honor the traditional rodi ⁄zio feast, while infusing it with new and unexpected tastes inspired by the pulse and energy of Brazilian culture. Our newly renovated space, perched on the edge of the ocean, is the perfect backdrop to our fabulous foods and inventive cocktails.

"I just want to mention that the servers need help first of all they don't even really help us they sit us down and give us a drink.. I leiterally sat for almost two hours with my mother and I saw the woman once and that when she ask if we wanted dessert and when she did come she looks so depressed looking that I was not happy.. the guys bringing the meat have more enthusiam than the servers ( that's why I tip them the meat guys) well anyway.. that's what I have to say."

"Samba is located within the Redondo Beach Harbor, along the boardwalk. The restaurant is nothing to brag about, it's very plain looking from the outside and the food is average quality. As in any Brizilian Steakhouse, the side dishes are served buffet style and the meat portion is brought to your table as much as you want! The food service is average, we had to wait a long time to get the kind of meat we wanted, they kept passing us up or didn't come around as much as they should have. My experience wasn't that great and I don't think I would return because compared to other Brizilian restaurants I've been to, Samba just doesn't measure up!"

"The salad bar food was not as great as expected and had a limited selection. The omelettes were nice, however. The meats were okay, a little on the salty side. According to my friends in my group, the unlimited champagne was good, however the sangrias were light on alcohol and tasted like "fruit punch". I'm pregnant so I asked for a virgin sangria or soda. The waitress told me "sorry. Anything outside of the unlimited champagne and sangrias is extra", then she asked if I wanted a sangria instead!!! I thought that was a little crazy. It was also very difficult to find the waitress to refill our unlimited sangrias, champagne, and for me, unlimited water. I mostly likely will not be visiting this restaurant again, at least not for brunch."

"First time here, I would say all the staff went far beyond my expectation. We celebrated my Mom's birthday and the restaurant manager as we were seated in our seats told us that they will bring a surprised cake for her. As we end the night, the cake was brought out and I'm was surprised that the restaurant manager is singing with his staff. This is AYCE Brazilian steakhouse, meat after meat just keeps coming fresh. Don't worry about where you seated, anywhere you will get the 180 degree oceanview."

"My friend and I were going to have dinner at 8 but we got there at 730 and they were able to seat us right away. The food was amazing as usual, really fresh options at the buffet and the meat was hot and delicious. My only problems were that it kinda took while to get just a glass of water for each of us. My friend ordered a beer with his dinner and it came with the waters. 20 minutes is a pretty long time when you're thirsty and you're stuffing yourself with savory food. The only problem i had really was the fact that our server gave me attitude when I couldn't hear him asking a question about the change...that I could have gone without."

"I've been here before & I decided to bring my friend for her birthday. Normally there is a lot of fast-paced serving & I am satisfied in less than an hour. I felt terrible about the experience we had- we were very poorly taken care of. It took us 2.5 hours to finish our meal (considering we were abandoned for over 45 mins). Our waters were empty for the majority of visit (1 refill). My friend had to get up & go to the bar to get another glass of wine since our waitress was non-existent. The bartender didn't have the wine she wanted & required IDs from everyone at the table, even though we'd both had a glass delivered from our server when we got our waters. We were very upset about the back&forth between table & bar when we paid to be served"

"My experience here was not very good.
1. The waitress was very cold at the time you mention you have a coupon.
2. This waitress dropped not only one glass of water but several glasses of ice cold water to my mom all over her head and back, the whole table had water, ice all over the floor, myself and one of our friends that we invite got wet. This waitress did not apologize at the moment until my friend told give her to, this waitress did not cared at all did not brings towels for my mom instead she used our table napkins. Nor bother to come back and clean our table. She never filled their water glasses. Her attitude was not pleasant after the accident.

"Bring your appetite and if you really want to enjoy all of the delicious selections of meat served make sure you don't load up too much at the buffet. The food is fantastic and the servers are very helpful. We went to celebrate my birthday and they gave me my choice of complimentary dessert, it was a great experience. I would highly recommend Samba!"

"Had a great time and enjoyed the food. The only downside would have to be the salad bar selection and the drink prices. All the meats were fantastic and the service was outstanding. I would go back to this place anytime."

"We went with another couple and it was the perfect close to a fantastic weekend! I would go there again, and again! Considering we made the choice based on our men being major carnivores, I was amazed to find how well seasoned the meat was - I indulged in the meat about as much as the men did to my surprise!"

"Second time there and BOTH times I informed in writing and verbal that we were there for celebrations (birthdays) and BOTH times they ignored that information. Yet the table next to us received well wishes etc. Our service this time was very poor. What ever happened to the "2 bite/2 minute" rule for servers; Check on your guest withing 2 bites or 2 minutes. She came by maybe 4 times throughout an hour and a half! To take order, drop off drinks and handle the bill.
Also why was I not grated my 100 point for my first visit to Samba back in January?"
