Legal Sea Foods is a Philly favorite. Surrounded by hotels and near both the Valley Forge Convention Center and Valley Forge National Historic Site, we are at a mall entrance on the upper level of the Court.

"As usual, both the service and the food were excellent. Was there on a first date and we were not the fastest to order. Our waitress was remarkably patient, courteous, and friendly throughout the night. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone who appreciates great food and great service."

"Not much to say other than the food was excellent! Very nice atmosphere with awesome oyster bar! Our drinks were made to perfection and delivered with a smile! My only complaint would be with my desert, the vanilla ice cream was freezer burnt! Our waitress offered another desert in its place but I declined( very full belly anyway) and thanked her for offering. My husband didnt seem to mind eating it!"

"This was the first time visiting the KOP location and we were very impressed. Service was outstanding. Our server was very informative, attentive and patient since we couldn't mak up our mind what to order. She made some recommendations and the one we did get was worth it. Everything was tasty, the right temperature and plated with class. I absolutely loved the Maryland She Crab soup and the trio calamari! I can'Trio was to die for - one better than the other - a 10+. t wait to go back to order the trio again but also to try something else. PS: A pleasant surprise was the manager stopping by with a complimentary tasting of a cucumber/crab appettizer for 2. Yummy!!"

"We had lunch at another chain restaurant that day and the hostess, servers, and managers were TOO friendly. It was over-the-top and seemed insincere. We all commented how nice it was to receive authentic service! Friendly, personable, knowledgeable, and attentive. The food was fresh, flavorful, and good portion sizes. We'll be back!"

"12 of us were at Legal Seafood, King of Prussia this past Saturday night- 8 adults and 4 children, ages 3,4,5,& 7. Our server, Courtney, H. was outstanding. The food was excellent, we felt relaxed, were well attended to, didn't feel the children we frowned on for being children there, and were certainly not rushed. We were celebrating our son's college graduation and it was a wonderful evening. Many thanks to a tremendous staff, from front of house to chef."

"This was my 5th time at Legal Seafood. I loved the food the first four. This last experience was as if we went to a different restaurant. Before the food was clearly simple, fresh fish. This time the fish was fresh but doused in way too much butter and grease. Everything was way to greasy. Someone in the kitchen decided that more is better. We all had different dishes and ALL tasted like something you'd get at Red Lobster or something. This restaurant used to be great. Now I'd be really reluctant to come back. I was embarrassed to have brought my friends and family."

"I highly recommend making reservations - we arrived right on time but still had to wait about 10 minutes for our table to be ready. The raw bar is great - LOVE the oysters! Our meals were good (crabcakes, seafood trio) but the portions were small - and of course all the sides were a'la carte. Our server was very friendly, but it did take a bit for us to get our drinks (iced tea and water). Overall it was a good meal, but not sure I'd spend $100 on dinner (apps, entrees, dessert) there again...maybe just wine and oysters at the bar!"

"Everything was really great!! The only thing is that I wish some of the protions were smaller. I had the Nutty Salmon and would have been just as happy with only one of the salmon portions and perhaps 3 or 4 of the ravioli on my dish. Perhaps Leal SeaFoods could consider have smaller portions and perhaps cutting the price just slightly to allow for the smaller portions. If this was the case, then I would have room for dessert. I also think the dessert portions are too large. I guess we could share a dessert, but we have different tastes in desserts and appetizers so if they were smaller, we could each pick one. Normally what happens is I go without an appetizer and my partner goes without dessert. However, food was great!"

"I have dine at this chain before in MA and when they opened in K of P. We were they for my daughter's B-Day. I can say no one at the table was happy with our service. My granddaughter is a very picky eater but all she talked about was getting crab legs only to find out they were not on the menu.
We waited so long for drinks, appetizers and main course, while others being seated were had their meal before our appetizers arrived.
I don't know that we would consider LS for another family gathering.

Ordered fish and 15 minutes later was told they did not have that fish tonight and was given an explanation about how hard it has been for the fisherman to catch Mahi Mahi. "Food was very good, service excellent and the ambiance and atmosphere was relaxed and enjoyable. If there was a complaint, and it was shared by all at our table, it would be the presentation of the food...very bland, very plain, uninspiring. Example, one of the fish dishes came with a plain piece of fish on tip of a round blob of mashed potatoes. When it was delivered, all the members of our party laughed out loud, then the same happend with almost all of the dishes. Someone needs to tell the chef to spruce up the plate presentations...a piece of parsley, a drizzle of sauce, a few colorful veggies on the side...something!"

"Both my husband and I were impressed by the service and food. My husband asked for a gluten free menu when we were seated and one arrived promptly. The waitress was very helpful with our menu questions, and checked in throughout the meal without being intrusive. Gluten free rolls arrived on a separate plate from my rolls without being asked for. The gluten-free rolls were good, but my regular rolls were delicious. I had the crabcakes and thought they were excellent. The atmosphere was attractive and comfortable. We will go back."

"Our food was very good. Stuffed Shrimp, Salmon and Crab Cake combo all receive very good rating for food. However, the service was barely fair - at one point, all three of us had neither soda nor water left in our glasses. In the end, I had to ask another server to please ask our waitress to give us refills because our server was MIA. This was not the first time there was a long delay in service, it started before we even ordered."

"Five college friends met for a reunion over dinner. We were accommodated at a quiet, round table that was perfect for us. We were able to catch up and have conversations without shouting. The staff couldn't have been more pleasant and we all enjoyed our meals. It was the perfect evening!"

"We ordered a filet mignon and whole lobster. Both were outstanding as well as the side dishes and dessert of Boston Cream Pie. The wine was reasonable. I also had an expresso martini that was yummy! The waitress made a mistake in the bill which could have cost of $6 more if I had not checked but she corrected it with no problem."
