"To start with the my gin and tonic was way to strong and the tonic was flat. The white shrimp app was very good and my wife enjoyed the filet tips. I ordered a med rare strip and received a blood rare center. My daughters burger was order med and it was pink center. All in all a bad experience. Service was fine."

"The Bank sits in the lobby of the Westin hotel, and is an open space so you have open views of registration desk, lobby, hotel guests, etc. We dined there on a Saturday night, not very crowded but service was fairly inattentive.
Limited menu but the food we had was very good. High priced wine list. The dessert menu was also very limited and underwhelming. Given the relatively poor service and limited choices.... we decided to pay our check and head to another restaurant in the area for dessert and after dinner drinks. This would be a fine hotel lobby restaurant and lounge if I was staying at the Westin and didn’t want to venture out, but I would not recommended it as a destination dining location for a night out."

"Elegant surroundings, but having it situatuated in the middle of the lobby, it is more a bar than restaurant. We had several hotel guests walking by our table, talking loudly, and rolling their luggage. The food is OK, but pricey, with many rich sauces on meat and fish dishes. Portions are small, especially the appetizers and desserts. The waiter was pleasant, but the overall service was not consistent. The drinks took 15 minutes to arrive, but the entrees came out before we'd finished our starters. The dessert came out within three minutes of ordering, but the plate placement indicated they had probably been sitting in the kitchen for some time before serving. This is just an OK choice in a section of town with many choices."

"The wife and I held our wedding reception / dinner at the Bank about 5 years ago and were very happy with the quality of the food and the level of service we received.
After 5 years, we figured we would stop back in and have a nice dinner - we were not disappointed.
We love the atmosphere there...they have a top-notch bar and wine list and the food is top quality.
The only downside to the BANK is that their menu is a little small, but there should be a little something for anyone on it.
If they had a slightly expanded menu, I would rate this place 5 stars...but because of this, it only gets 4.
I would recommend this place to anyone who wants to have a nice, close, and quiet dinner, or a quiet dinner / business meeting."

"The servers seated us at 11:30 per our online reservation even though they weren't officially open to non-hotel-guests until noon. We each had a muffin to tide us over until the kitchen changed to the lunch menu. Everything we had was delicious, and we had a lovely meal."

"We really did not expect to have a wonderful meal, as the menu did not seem too interesting. We had a drink which was very well made. We had the white crispy shrimp which were very lightly breaded, crispy, and very very tasty. I had the half chicken with Kale and creamed corn. The chicken was moist and perfectly prepared. The cream corn was worth the trip all by itself. The corn was cut fresh off the cob and the sauce was truly exceptional. Even though they gave a good serving of the corn, I almost ordered another side of it because it tasted so good. It was a very pleasant dining experience."

"The food was excellent! Ambiance is great, can't be beat! The only thing that took it from an A+ to an A was that while the service was friendly and courteous they could have been a little more attentive. It was a Sunday afternoon and I don't think they are used to having too many people there at that time, so it felt like staff was kind of milling around and confused by our presence. It was mostly amusing and only the tiniest bit annoying.
Oh and the Sunday menu is different than the lunch menu on their website, it would have been nice to know that in advance.
But despite the couple little hiccups, we had a wonderful time. The tenderloin is to die for. Order one! Order six, actually!! And the sirracha bacon dip, heaven."

"This was not a real brunch. I have had holiday inn express free breakfasts that had more selection. There were no pancakes/waffles, limited pastries, limited fruit, and no omelets. The eggs and quiche were good and the bacon/sausage were high quality, but I expected a nice hotel like the Westin to have a fancy brunch. Beautiful dining room, though."

"We had one of the private rooms for a party of seven on Mothers Day for dinner which was perfect for two people with hearing disabilities. The food was excellent! "Service is good, but if you don't tell them what you want right away (for example, if you want to wait to have juice/coffee until when you want it, rather than when the waiter wants to serve it, or if you tender your credit card a little later than when the waiter expects to pick it up from you), you need to "chase" the waiter a bit to get him to serve you. That "chase" interrupts the conversational flow of a business meal/meeting. Waiter expects diners will want service in his concept of a "rushed breakfast on the clock" rather than a more extensive meeting, so he could do a bit better job checking in once in a while or asking upfront how much time diners wish to spend at table, so that he can adjust service accordingly."

"I celebrated a friend's birthday with an outing to Bank. The lunch menu was fairly robust with an excellent salad and sandwich selection. We did not order mixed drinks or wine. Once our order was placed, the waiter seemed to disappear though he was around. I had to ask to have my ice tea refilled. The food was rather slow to come out, especially for lunch and an average size crowd in the place. It took quite awhile for the waiter to clear the plates and bring the check at the conclusion of the meal. One item was not priced consistent with the menu pricing. Asking about correcting it was also a lengthy process. The ambiance and noise level was conducive to conversation. So long as you're looking for a leisurely lunch, I'd recommend Bank."

My only tiny disappointment was that neither my prosecco nor my reisling were particularly chilled, but it was such a great meal that it didn't matter. Servers were all very pleasant and efficient. "The service was very good and attentive. The food, however, was of only average quality. We both started with their soup of the day - tomato soup. It was better than Campbell's, but not by much. I had the scallops, which tasted fine, and my wife had the pork chop, which again was fine, but with no special preparation which would make it distinctive. Our booth was quiet, but gave us a direct view of any empty kitchen. Overall, we thought the experience was not worth the expense ($35 for the pork chop and $28 for the scallops)."

"Whenever I travel to Minneapolis, I nearly always have dinner at BANK. The food quality is good and the service is very good . . . and consistently so. We started with the shrimp appetizer, which melded many flavors. We then had the burrata salad, and two bowls of the white bean soup; both of which got good reviews. For entrees, we shared the scallops, sliders plus mac & cheese. Each dish was as expected. For business dinners, this is the place to go."

"This was a very disappointing experience. Service was horrible and it wasn't busy. From the moment we arrived, we were not greeted with a welcoming attitude, but rather made to feel that we were a bother. I was expecting the lunch menu, being that it was after noon, but we only had the breakfast menu or the buffet options and it was obvious the servers wanted us to do the buffet rather than order off the menu. We ordered items that didn't get delivered and the food we did get was mediocre. We won't be back. There are too many other excellent restaurants to experience to settle for less than mediocre."

"This is a good lunch spot. The salads at the table were all well done, but it appeared to be a bit of a disconnect in the kitchen with the one "hot" food item being done and then sitting cooling it a little too much. Not bad by any means, but if brought out 3 minutes earlier it would have been much better. Our server appeared to be somewhat overwhelmed with the number of tables he was serving. He still did a good job, but was clearly working hard that day."

"I've eaten only lunch here, not dinner. The food is quite decent and I continue to return for that reason and because it's convenient to several downtown office buildings. The service continues to be mediocre and indifferent, even on a good day. This time it was no offer of a coffee refill, but it's always something. Whoever does the hiring and training really needs to get to work."

"There were maybe two or there other tables occupied aside from ours; that being said, the service should have been better. My friend ordered a Bloody Mary when we ordered the food and the drink didn't come out until we were nearly done with our meal (and it was pretty awful). The food took a very long time to come out but the omelets were very tasty once we got them."

"SO many things were just not right it spoiled the great food we ate! I called specifically to ensure the host/hostess would know we were celebrating a special event (birthday)and ask the server to bring out a dessert, and that we had theater tickets and needed to be out by 7:30. None of this was acknowledged or done. Although the restaurant was more then half empty we were seated at a table in center of room, and within 15 minutes a buffet was set up 5 feet away for a private party reception of 15+/-people who were literally butted up to our table while enjoying thier happy hour.
We ordered martini's that were served lukewarm in high ball glasses because bar "had run out" of martini glasses. So many more disappointing details."
