A local brewery and restaurant in a 1920's style atmosphere. The Herkimer is stylistically designed with booths, a long island bar and of course a shuffleboard table. We offer award winning Mini Burgers (City Pages) and Sweet Potato French Fries (Minnesota Monthly). Not to mention our Halibut Fish and Chips, Tomato Soup and Grilled Cheese Fondue, and the Strawberry Chicken Salad. Our brewery specializes in German Lagers and Ales, which is best known for our Sky Pilot Keller Bier, a pilsner that won a Gold Medal at the Great American Beer Festival.

"Went for happy hour with my co-workers. We probably tried most of the appetizers on the happy hour menu and liked them all. Our server was a bit inattentive. Really enjoyed the food and will likely go back again."

"A bar that is not possible to make reservations at so dont waste time trying to make them on Open table. I had the chicken quesadilla which was awesome!!!! and huge!! couldnt possibly eat it all. My husband had the fish sandwich which he said was just "ok". The sweet potato fries were good.
We tried 3 of their beers and I would recommend them. Parking was a little problem since this is a pretty busy area of Mpls."

"Food was great but I didn't realize that this is a "Packer Bar". Be careful about trying to eat there during a Packer game (next season). The place is packed, the crowd is loud, and the TV volume is ear-splitting. Loved the Cuban sandwich, however. Highly recommended but not during a Packer game."

"The Herkimer is hit & miss in most ways a brewpub can be judged. The beer is mainly decent, with an occasional poor batch brewed with an 'off' taste. The service can vary between attentive and poor from visit to visit. Never had an issue with the food, pretty much basic pub grub. The place is most often pretty busy. Overall, I have had great times here, bad times here. Worth a try; when they get it right, Herkimer is a really neat place to visit."
