Japanese Restaurant offering a wide array of authentic Japanese Cuisine. Located on the second floor of the beach front New Otani Hotel, guests may choose between a Western style seating, outdoor lanai, or tatami style rooms, all featuring panoramic views overlooking the Pacific Ocean and Waikiki Beach.
"Miyako is authentic Japanese dining. For Westerners, I think it is difficult figuring out what to order. My mother and I ended up sharing a Japanese version of a green salad (very good). My butterfish was fine. My mother liked her 'sashimi platter' well enough, but the sashimi scallops were not appetizing. On the whole, we felt slightly out of place in the restaurant. The service was sufficiently efficient, if not all that warm and welcoming."

"Dininng in Honolulu is always a good thing and Miyzko is no exception. Situated in the New Otani Hotel, it is easy in and out (we stayed in the adjacent Hotel Aqua during our stay, and were provided discounts for our meal!"

"Dine in one of the Cabanas on the Lanai/Patio was a great experience. The monthly Kaiseki special was delicious, and the view of the Pacific Ocean was spectacular, especially on a clear day. We were very pleased with our memorable outing with friends."

"The person in our group that recommended the Kaiseki here said when her Ikebana teacher hosts them it has always been excellent, but this time it was substandard. She was disappointed that our other friend was not allowed to take her sashimi home for her husband since this friend doesn't eat sashimi.
It was not a good food experience overall. 2 out of 5 enjoyed their meal."
