Located in downtown Minneapolis, Atlas Grill is one of the Twin Cities dining treasures. The Mediterranean influenced cuisine features signature fire roasted meats and seafood. The Star Tribune has called Atlas' food "out of this world". During the day, Atlas is a popular lunch destination. In the evening, Atlas becomes a venue for private parties and special events. Atlas' dining room features dark wood work with beautiful draperies and tropical fish tanks. The Atrium is more open and garden like surrounded by numerous plants and high glass ceilings. A full service bar with seating connects the two areas. Atlas Grill is a great location for corporate dinners, meetings, cocktail parties and wedding receptions. The banquet menu offers buffet, served and platter style dinner options.
"Even though my wife and I arrived late and close to the time the kitchen closed, the staff was very helpful and cooked us a great dinner. It would have been nice for them to keep the kitchen open past 7:30 on a Friday night but I should have realized this when I went to make reservations and it would not accept anything after 7:00 PM. Overall it was a great experience and I can't thank them enough."

"We were surprised by the location and the way the restaurant is laid out. They have a big area in the atrium for "al fresco" dining. The actual dining room was not being used. It is an interior space that looks out on 6th St. We sat at a table just off the bar looking out into the atrium. It was a bit odd but the view was fun. The look was quite good. The chicken Barley soup was wonderful. It was in a tomato cream base which is unusual. The food portions are hearty and the flavors nicely developed on the meat and sauces. Prices were reasonable for downtown dining. I would return."

"Made reservations for 5:30, arrived and were met by no one. We were asked to sit in bar area by bartender. We asked to sit in dining room and were told it was closed. Told them that we had dinner reservations for the dining room, not the bar, so they moved us. Server was very nice, but very nervous and clumsy; seemed inexperienced. Food was awesome. Server did his best. Our first impression was NOT good...no Host or Hostess to greet us. We were expecting so much more than we got. This was our first time to this restaurant, we looked forward to it and we were very disappointed. The only thing that saved this reservation was the food. Don't understand why the dining room was closed on Friday night? Don't know if we will go back there."

"Wonderful place for a business lunch or fun with friends. The staff is friendly and knowledgable of the menu. Brandon and Juan are both delightful each go above and beyond to ensure your dining experience is enjoyable. Love this place for lunch with friends . Convenient. Fast, fresh and nutritious food. Abbas and Ken do an awesome job at making sure the customers are pleased. Love the eastern twist on traditional foods."

"Empty except for us . . . not a soul . . . combination seating in the restaurant and out in an atrium/corporate office environment. One employee who closed up shop prior to our leaving . .. would not dine there again and truly cannot believe it is still in business!"
