"My wife and I have dined here before and have always enjoyed the food and atmosphere, so I thought I'd try Mother's Day brunch here. Big mistake. Gone was the normal, quiet and cozy ambiance, and instead it was noisy and chaotic. The food was OK, but far from special, and it seemed that the staff was overwhelmed by it all.
I realize it's hard to make a buffet brunch an "elegant dining experience" but this wasn't even close. At one point, they ran out of plates and we were forced to wait for more or to use tiny saucers. Also, this place is always a bit chilly, but this time it was downright cold, even though all the windows were all shut. In general, I would still recommend Opus 465 for a casual dinner, but we'll never go back for brunch."

"Opus was just ok. We have been to and enjoyed Modern Barn and North, but needed last-minute reservations and could not get goo times. Opus had a table, so we decided to try it. Everything about it was just ok. The tuna was tastless, the rice bland, everyhing was just ok."

"Wonderful to find a place where you can have a conversation with your fellow diners. Lack of music and noise is a real plus. Food was very good. The chef even came to the table to respond to a special request."

"I was a little surprised that upon our arrival we were immediately taken upstairs when the whole downstairs was completely empty for a 7pm reservation. Had we been seated downstairs we would have known that there would be live music later on and might have stayed for the entertainment. You may want to let people know when they arrive about the live entertainment."

"Ate at OPUS 465 during Restaurant Week. The place was packed which attests to its' popularity, so maybe we just ordered the wrong options. That said, both meals from appetizers through dessert were disappointing. The salads were overdressed, my risotto was mushy, and my friend related that the meatloaf and mashed potatoes were overly spicy. Lastly we both ordered the Toll House Pie dessert which neither of us could eat as it was so sweet."

"After reading the menu e were looking forward to trying this restaurant. Unfortunately we were very disappointed. Our first course was uneven, as one salad was drowning in dressing another hardly had any dressing! Fried calamari was overdone and the sauces uninspired. Main courses were hit and miss...pasta dish with spinach and chicken was swimming in liquid, could have been soup and the chicken tasted as if it were boiled in the liquid. Eggplant risotto was pasty, but flavorful.Pulled chicken BBQ would have been better if it had a less sweet BBQ sauce and chicken was not drowned in it. The side of Mac n Cheese was delicious, however.Grilled salmon over arugala salad was good.Dessert was also pretty good except for soured whipped cream"

"They had two acoustic guitar players in the bar. The appetizers had a unique twist. The veal meatloaf was fabulous. The service was great. We left very satisfied and with doggie bags."

"Nice ambience, food was just ok. Ordered the salmon on a bed of arugula and parts of the fish were very dry. It came with carmelized onions and there were several large clumps of them. So a bit dissapointing for an expensive meal."

"We really enjoyed our dinner. The table was very nice, the food was good, and the portions were substantial. The service was bit slow, but when we mentioned it, they were very apologetic and sent over after-dinner drinks and dessert (because our friends don't drink). That was our first time there and we would definitely go back."

"Opus has undergone a lovely transformation. The upstairs dining room has been redecorated in beautiful and serene hues of aquamarine, gold tones, and dark woods. The dining room downstairs is open, and brighter than before, and the bar is warm and inviting. The food is very good, as always, and the menu has something for everyone. Overall, a very pleasant experience."

"Chicken veggie soup had little broth and too many peas. Little flavor. Pulled chicken had nice sauce but might be better on sandwich. Risotto OK. Too heavy for a meal. Desserts looked unappetizing in plastic presentation and cookies used in ice cream sandwich not great. Very expensive."

"Extensive menu that successfully offers something for everyone with both traditional and innovative dishes, some of which change frequently; no boredom e here! It's a place I drove by and meant to try for a long time; I'm glad I did and now I'm hooked. The upstairs has a couple of large, very cushy booths . . . Not your typical banquette. Gorgeous bar downstairs, sometimes with live music. Don't miss this place. Service is consistently excellent, and the extensive dessert list is decadent,"

"We had a late night valentines day reservation, and despite this the staff was courteous and attentive. Food was delectable and atmosphere warm and comfortable. Only complaint is that the dining room was being prepped for the next days service while we were eating (it wasn't THAT late!) which created a substantial distraction and was slightly off-putting as tables and chairs were lifted and carried mere feet from our backs... Just like Disney world, your customers should never feel that the fairy tale is broken, even at the expense of staff needing to prep."

"All of my food was good. I ordered the cheese ravoli and it was a little heavy for me. I have been on a diet so long that I forgot what regular food tastes like. I cant wait to try some of their other dishes."

"This place used to be great and they recently remodeled it. Now, the water tastes like bath water, the soda is extremely watery, and the food is lousy."

"It was empty for a Saturday night, pertinacious. the lighting was also too bright. Nice menu, different food choices. Had 2 martinis, glasses were on the small side, Went to the bar afterwards to listen to the live band that was entertaining. We went with another couple and had a good time."

"We've been here several times over the years. Always a good experience and value. The recent renovations really classed it up! Its a warm and cozy feeling inside. Many choices on the menu, plus specials, and the food is delicious. The dessert tray is not well presented, everything jammed onto one tray they bring to the table - more importantly, while they look great on the tray, they are a little disappointing, just mediocre to me. I will come back again for the ambience and dinner choices!"
