"Went for Mother's Day so the only option was the buffet. Not a fan of buffets and thought we'd be able to order a la carte dinner at 3pm after brunch buffet was over b/c there was nothing on the website about it being all buffet, nor did they mention it on the reservation confirmation. Food was good, not stellar, but most buffets I've found to be average. So for a large group with a need for a large variety of fixed price options I'd go to Generations. Suggest they add something to the scrambled eggs to give them some sort of flavor or texture--tasted more like tofu. Overall, nice, large variety of foods at the buffet so there's something for everyone, and it's reasonably priced as long as you're able to eat a decent volume of food."

"Reservations were required and when they telephoned to confirm my request to avoid noisy children was honored, but once again, a mother and two children (although this time 18 and 21)( was seated in the bar area for dining. Would any hostess seat a man with two children at the bar with two children?
The server informed us that waffles and omelets were ordered through him and not where the buffet was located. He was regularly available. The buffet was good, but some items were repeatedly requested to be replenished and eventually were- some- not all.

"Nothing special about this restaurant. Asked for a booth in the library, was seated at a table by the bar. Too noisy. Strolling musician was fine, but didn't help the mood. Food was a disappointment, admirals dish was over cooked and the clam was laughable. The only thing that was great was our server. He did the best he could and was prompt with our orders. Overall, will not be going back."
