"this restaurant was very quiet the night we ate there and am totally surprised, the food was excellent with lots of little extras. A chef's muse of a wonderful pasta, sorbet to clear the pallet between the risotto and the main course, lemencello with desert and a gift of biscotti with leaving. The service was excellent the atmosphere wonderful, only thing better could be some outside seating. We went to morton's the night before and this is every bit as good and Morton's was wonderful. would defiantly return, sorry to see them so slow, the food was wonderful. would recommend this restaurant !!"

"This place was fantastic. We were there on a Sunday night in May, so the place was not crowded at all. A light crowd is something that has always concerned us, but once the food came, we were pleasantly surprised. We ordered their "Taste of Tuscany" 4 course dinner, and every course was a culinary experience worth remembering. The spinach dumplings were the best I've ever had, the lobster ravioli was excellent, and my wife's filet, was prepared to mouth watering perfection. Our waiter was excellent, friendly and warm, seeing to our every need. Excellent meal... This place is tucked away inside the Renaissance Resort. Its worth finding, and enjoying!! Our compliments to a chef that truly UNDERSTANDS Italian food."

"We were in town for the Paribas Tennis Open, staying at the Rennaissance and looking forward to dining at Sirocco after reading so many positive reviews.
If you are from the East Coast (New York) or the West Coast (San Francisco) and you're a "foodie", you will not be impressed. We have no problem paying 100s (and 100s) of dollars for a quality culinary experience. Sadly, this was truly a disappointment.
Sirocco, quantity vs. quality, mediocre at best....
Quality restaurants in the Palm Springs area is non existent. In the future I will stick to the bar/restaurant "Cava" towards the pool. Friendly, casual and relaxed, here the quality equals the dollars you pay. Save your money and do your fine dining elsewhere."

"This was our second visit to Sirocco and the experience was simply superb. Great service, fabulous food and an ambiance that is truly memorable.

"Delightful restaurant even though it's a little pricey. The lobster bisque was delicious. My husband had the lamb that was great--nice grilled flavor, perfectly cooked to his request. I had lobster ravioli that was so rich and creamy with lots of lobster in the homemade pasta raviolis. They decanted our wine without asking and served an amuse course and a palate cleanser after the first course. And don't miss the tiramisu--perfect! And to top it off, as we left they handed us some homemade almond biscotti that went perfectly with our capuccinos in the morning. Take your credit card, however, all this luxury does come at a price but it was worth it."

"Restaurant is beautifully decorated with a perfect view of the lagoon and landscaping, backlit palms... Etc. Of note were all of the details: amuse bouche, elaborate tray for fixing one's coffee including white chocolate, grand mariner cream, rum truffles, lemoncello digestiv and biscotti to go! The food unfortunately, although good, was not remarkable. The expectation level is raised and yet the creativity of the food does not match. Very good for those with conservative palates."

"We have enjoyed Sirocco many times in the past and considered it the finest Itslian restaurant in the valley. Sadly we cannot say that any longer. Our experience was marred by slow service, not the fault of our waiter who is an old and wise hand but because of under staffing. Our food was adequate but certainly nothing to justify the prices. Finally this fine dining restaurant was over run with hotel guests who apparently were thinking they were going to "Pizza Pete's Carry Out". No we will not be back nor can we recommend it."

"Waiter was very personable but forgot important items. Kitchen was out of two mains (veal and sea bass). Lobster ravioli was ok but bland. Burratta was obviously prepared hours beforehand and left in a fridge to age. Mains looked like they sat under heat lamps for a while before they were served. Prices were appropriate for a high standard of execution, not for feeble effort. Better Italian cuisine and dining experience at La Spiga, Castelli's or The Nest. Don't feel like going back, sadly."

"My business partner and I were staying at the Marriott and thought an evening meal without going outside the hotel would be relaxing. When we stopped by to ensure that Sirocco offered half-orders of their pasta, we were told "of course." However, that night, when we ordered, we were told that "due to the restaurant's being full" we could not place such an order. We asked the waiter to ask the chef, explaining we had been told we could place such orders. The waiter returned, reaffirming, no, we could not. As we were clearly going to leave, we were finally told that yes, we could order half-orders.
Any restaurant that bills itself as having "excellent service" needs to make good on its promises without a 20-minute argument. Not relaxing!"

"We have been to Sirocco several times and never been disappointed. It's a "get dressed up special occasion" kind of place with great food and service. My wife and I split first the veal meatballs, and then the roasted beet salad. Both were large enough to split (and the number of meatballs was even!) She had the lobster and I had the veal picatta - both were "get some more bread to soak up the sauce" kind of dishes with NOTHING left on either plate when we were done. We had a great time."

"We enjoyed a wonderfully romantic Valentines dinner at Sirocco. The food was delicious. The menu was creative, and the portions were perfect. Not over priced. Loved having the entire menu available on Valentines day, as apposed to a limited Valentines Special menu. The service was excellent. The staff was so in-sync with each other and they were discreet but completely at your service. Our server was knowledgeable about the menu and made fantastic recommendations. The coffee service was over the top with a tray of special treats to sweeten your coffee including white and dark chocolate shavings, various sugars and creams. WONDERFUL!! The evening ended with a gorgeous rose for the ladies. A great touch!"

"Very romantic ambiance. Food was inconsistent in quality. The appetizers and salads were excellent. My date's entree was, she said, good. I had the rib eye, it was not good- very tough and gristly, (and not at all inexpensive). The service and staff were superb. Despite the sub par steak, it was an overall enjoyable experience. We went there for Valentine 's day and, for that, it fit the bill perfectly."

"This place was an amazing find. Not your typical hotel restaurant. They welcomed us after there closing time which we appreciated after the day of traveling. We would come here again in a heart-beat. The service was outstanding across the board and the food we had was great. The wine list was another great find, could not believe some of the vintages this list had."
