"It was a bit too chilly to dine outside, however, dining inside was quite nice, too. The room overlooking the park was very pretty and the service, if not elegant, was very pleasant and efficient. The food was generally good, but the ravioli should be in a tastier broth...it was a little bland. All in all it was a nice place to eat...probably great for lunch."

"Came here by recommendation with my mother and grandmother who were visiting from out of town. Not only was I pleased my the delicious food, ambiance and service...so were they! That's hard to beat!! I recommend sitting outside if weather permits. The park is beautiful, and the surroundings are still quiet without missing the hustle and bustle of the city."

"The noise level at the Bryant Grill was very loud, and I would not recommend it if you need a quiet place for lunch - which I was hooping for. The food was good but not exceptional; service was very attentive, but I will not go back here for a business lunch again. It was difficult to conduct a lunch meeting as the noise level kept rising as the room filled up."

"We arrived and we were promptly seated because we decided to sit inside on a lovely day. The waiters were nice but they kept dropping things all during our lunch!!! Three of us ordered versions of cesear salad, one plain, one with shrimp, one with chicken. It was so poorly done. The lettuce must have been very wet---the food was almost flavorless. Thankfully the setting is lovely."

"It can really fill up at lunchtime, so reservations is a must. At my last visit (with 4 friends), most of us ordered from the appetizer menu The Jumbo Lump Crab Cakes and Mushroom Soup were excellent. The service was superb as usual. However, the noise level was quite high. Its really one of our favorite places to go for a special treat. We especially enjoy Celsius during the Christmas holidays. its beautiful."

"in the middle of Manhattan you can dine in Spring and Summer in the midst of an outdoor garden abutting a lovely park, with nice food selection, and above average but not too expensive prices. weather is the factor here. and the wait staff could use some leadership in knowing when they are needed before they are asked for assistance. recommend for that special business spot"

"Even though I usually enjoy a small cozy restaurant, I did love the feel of this place with it's beautiful large windows overlooking Bryant Park. It was quite noisy at lunch time when the room was full but we started later and lingered longer so it did quiet down. The hostess found us a lovely corner table by a window which was perfect. I would definitely recommend a late mid-afternoon lunch to anyone who has the time and prefers the quiet."

"Great food, especially the salmon. The Moroccan lamb tacos were tiny as an appetizer. Went with a group of 7 at 6pm on a Sunday. In the beginning, service was great, but 1/2 hour in, waiter disappeared and had to flag people down as the restaurant starts getting a few more guests. Asked for the bill at 7:10. Got the bill at 7:40. Paid with cards and didn't get cards back until 7:50."

We had a wonderful waiter, and we weren't rushed even though it was a reunion of four friends and we spent two hours catching up. "Bryant Park grille has an ambiance that is hard to top. I went there for an earlyish (6:30pm) dinner this past Saturday evening. We had a seat right away, by the window, which provided a lovely view of the green. The appetizers we selected, the Lamb tacos and garden salad, were delicious. For an entree, my companion had the Mahi-Mahi, which was served over arugula, he said it was great. I had the mushroom ravioli with sauteed spinach, peas and tomatoes. It was tasty, However, they were served in a white wine broth, that while delicious, was over powering. Given the amount it felt like my ravioli were in a soup instead of a light sauce. Other than that, the meal was wonderful and really topped off a great afternoon/ evening in the city."

"I took some out-of-towners here for dinner and while we loved the ambiance, the food and the beautiful view of Bryant Park, the service was extremely slow. I will give them the benefit of the doubt that it was the first warm day of the year and perhaps they weren't ready for it. But I think that someone could have at least acknowledged the fact that they were running behind. Never once got an apology from the waiter for taking 20 minutes to take our food order after delivering our drinks! If you have any plans after dinner with time constraints (like the theatre), I wouldn't trust it to be done in time... Or be sure to give yourselves plenty of time!"
