"Bottomless mimosas were W-E-A-K but that can be expected. Great waiter but he forgot things left and right. Food was bad, but love that jazz music."

Review 7 for STARS Bistro and Bar (formerly Mimi's American Bistro)
Overall Rating
(Good)
"The food was bland. The waitress was an excellent singer, but seemed inexperienced as a waitress. There were quite a few kids there that night, and the piano player catered to them and played mostly kids' songs. Great for kids, but don't expect much from the food."

Review 8 for STARS Bistro and Bar (formerly Mimi's American Bistro)
Overall Rating
(Good)
"We dined here for an early dinner and things didn't start to "get going" until we were about to leave, so I can't really comment on the nightlife, but my impression was that it would get to be a fun scene later in the evening. I was the first of my party to arrive and everyone else in the restaurant was huddled at the bar when I did. I was ignored until another of my party arrived and then finally someone noticed us standing there and seated us. The menu and drink list were good, full of interesting offerings. We were all pleased with our food and drink, if not completely wowed. I was surprised, however, that given we were one of only about three tables, the service took quite a long time."

Review 9 for STARS Bistro and Bar (formerly Mimi's American Bistro)
Overall Rating
(Good)
"The food was very good and the service was attentive, but then, we were the only people in the place (on a Thurs. evening, 7:30pm) except for one guy at the bar and another patron at one other table. We chose this place because we were celebrating a birthday and heard about the "singing servers" after 7:30. The restaurant gifted us an AMAZING dessert (I highly recommend the peanut butter bomba!!) but the only server who sang was our waitress, and that was when she brought out the dessert. There was a piano player there who played and sang (wish he had stuck to his strength and just played) for about 20 minutes and then welcomed himself to our table and stayed too long. So, overall, I was disappointed in Stars."
