"The atmosphere was amazing and the food delectable. My steak and lobster meal was to die for. There was one issue and that was the time it took to receive our meal. Our reservations were set for 12:45 Mother 's Day and we were seated around 1 but well after 2:30 when we received our meals. I was forced to add an hour to our limousine ride as a result of the wait. I would return to your restaurant, and I would recommend it to others."

"It was my sister Cheryl's birthday and the atmosphere, the food, family and friends just made the night so special for her. Cheryl is such a special person and sister too me that it was the only place I could see taking her to make her night one to remember. Thank you."

"The food is average at best considering the price. You think they would be great for fish, but they're not. The desert was horrible. Lava cake? Dry and over- cooked. When we brought this to the server's attention, he dismissed us and said it was supposed to be like that. Well if it supposed to taste bad, then why do you put it on the menu. Would not recommend unless you like over paying for mediocre food."

"My husband and I in the past considered Chart House to be the place for excellent service and great ambiance, however the service has declined in recent years. I don't know if this is due to the change of ownership, but Mother's Day was our last try for Chart House. It's like eating at a Joe's Crab Shack, which I don't like. We were members of the Aloha Club, but that was prior to the change. And $8.95 for salad bar with a meal. That's an expensive dinner salad and the Ceaser salad was mushy. We have been eating at Roy's for the past few years. The prices are about the same but the food and service are way better. I don't understand why anything had to change. So sad."

"I was very disappoint with the Mothers Day Menu. So since we drove from the San Fernando Valley we decided to stay. My daughter had to send her food back. We spent over $75.00 for the four of us on appetizers we left a gracious tip of $20..00 because that's what we do."

"What a great setting. the view was very nice.
The food was delicious, I really enjoyed the NY steak. My wife really enjoyed the stuffed shrimp. My son had the filet mignon and lobster and gave you rave review on that. Its not easy to please a 15 year old.

"We have been dining at This particular Chart House for over twenty years and have always enjoyed our visits. We recommend this establishment to many of our friends as well as family. However we do notice on special occasions ( Mothers / Fathers day ) things get a bit hectic as far as short handed on help...food not brought to the table hot but rather warm. while dining anyone can look around and see your employees hurrying through the restaurant avoiding running into one another . Also the parking situation is horrendous ..at this Chart House

"Service was professional but a bit slow and not very attentive. The restaurant was fairly busy bit not so much a dropped fork couldn't be replaced or kids drink refilled. Also took a long time to get the bill. My wife and kids waited in the lounge area it took so long to leave. It's a nice place in our neighborhood, but perhaps a little lazy after a long time in business."

"we came to the Chart House for my mom's birthday celebration. The food, service and window view were outstanding. The only negative that i had was that we ordered a half dozen oysters for appetizers and the were rediculously small. Other than that everything was awesome. We live in the Crystal Cove apartments so dining here is a just a walk a way."

"We had a 745 pm reservation for 2 and arrived at 740 pm. We didn't sit down until 835 pm because they apparently overbook or so we were told by another couple who had been there a few times previously. The view was great, right on the beach. The service was ok but the food was fair at best. For the price, simply not worth it. I am not likely to eat there again."

"I had my the worst expierence I've had a resturant. To start the night off we arrived at 7:15 which was our time for our reservation and didn't get seated until after 7:40, twenty-five minutes later. Then we finally get seated and had the worst service ever. It took forever for to receive our drinks pretty much couldn't get a refill. we never received our bread until the second time we asked for it so we didn't get to have it with our soup. I had asked for steak to be Cooked medium they cooked it rare. They didn't even bring steak knives to cut our steaks and had to wait for my server for about ten minutes before I was able to get a hold of get to get my knife. For a bill that I had to pay $135.00 for THIS IS UNEXCEPTABLE!"

"The ambience was very nice, our waiter was a bit slow and we found we were waiting a lot whenever we needed him. The coconut shrimp was good but the salmon felt overcooked, and the crab cake was the least favorite (by all three people who ordered it) Too mushy and more like a crab salad, but not good."

"Although my initial request for a window seat via openrable upon arrival, when we got there they said we could wait about 10 min passed out reservation time and they could accommodate us. We got our window seat for the birthday celebrant. We were happy to see Happy Birthday Pat at the top of the menu. Such a nice touch they do. The ambiance was impeccable of course. The food was tasty. All in all a wonderful night."

"My girlfriend and I were blown away at the greatness that is charthouse! Food was amazing, the prime rib was the best I have had in years. We went to celebrate my girlfriends birthday and they had a desert out right at the end of our meal as I requested with the gift I has got her. They made the surprise all worth it. I got some when we got home. ;-)"

"We had a 7:30 reservation, at 8:20 on our second visit to the hostess stand we were told we were next, and after seeing them seat 2 more parties I went to the hostess stand and asked to speak with a manager, the hostess seemed upset at my request and when the manager came to talk with us after my explanation he apologized and seated us at 8:30, the waitress was great and so was the food, the wait was not!"

"Has a great view of the ocean and has a nice atmosphere inside, but in terms of food, it is so-so for the level/price you'd expect. One good example are the scallops, which a friend got; when the dish came out, the presentation was horrible - the scallops were place haphazardly on the dish with no thought or design."
