"We go to Ruth's at least twice each year. Awesome steaks, really good side dishes, homemade and delicious salad dressings, plus good value. It didn't disappoint along all of those lines, but I will say that the service was a bit slow this time. That won't stop me from making a return trip."

"A friend and I celebrating our Mother's Day with a dinner at 4:00. I had a reservation through Open Table. We walked in a were not greeted. The hostesses were enjoying a conversation among them selves. When we were addressed we were then left waiting for the hostess to seat us with no direction from anyone. Finally one of the hostess decided it was time to seat us. Once seated we had the most amazing server. She was very attentive even though her section was very busy. Overall a great experience."

"I've visited Ruth's Chris Steak House very often and was thoroughly disappointed on Mother's Day. The Crab Cakes were fishy and loaded with filler. I ordered the Petite Filet with shrimp, Medium. The steak was tough with no flavor. I'm hoping this was a fluke but it will be awhile before I spend over $200 bucks for such minor satisfaction..."

"Ruth's Chris is my favorite steakhouse in Dallas. My wife and I love the preparation and the meat itself. You can't go wrong. We've had Bryan, our waiter, before and this time he was less attentive than usual. The place wasn't overcrowded so I don't think that was it - we just had to ask more than once for things he should have anticipated in a place where you're spending $250+ for four people.
We will definitely go back, and Bryan can certainly wait on us again. Everyone has an off day."

"The staff is very welcoming!! The atmosphere is also great!! The food is by far the best I've had anywhere!' The food is pricey but the overall experience and good is worth it. My fiancée and I were gonna go to reunion tower but saw the reviews for Ruths Chris were much better and we believe we made the best choice! Ruth's surprised my fiancée and I with something for our anniversary. Our experience was much more than we could've imagined or expected. I look forward to returning and would highly recommend going to anyone. The staff makes you feel that your table is the only table!! They deserve every star I gave them!!!

"Another (almost) perfect meal at Ruth's Chris. Service from the Valet Parking attendant throughout the entire dinner (Joey has to be one of Dallas' best waiters) was nothing less than perfect. The only minor glitch to the meal was that we asked for our steaks to be cooked Medium- hot pink throughout. They were cooked much past that- Medium Well at a minimum. But they were still representative of the finest steak available, and we enjoyed them. All other parts of the meal, from appetizer to dessert, were outstanding. GREAT cocktail menu. This is NOT a "chain steakhouse" experience; it is steal and seafood dining at its best. Cannot wait to return."

"Realy enjoyed the meal. The chop salad was one of the best I have had at a restaurant and every steakhouse has one on the menu.We loved our steaks and visiting with our friendly and attentive waiter, Bob. We enjoyed a pleasant evening. The only downside was a group of women in the bar were extremely loud, and although we tried to enjoy a drink at the bar before going to our table, we were unable to hear each other or the musician and had to go on to our table. Even at our table we could hear the women. I realize this is not the fault of the restaurant."

"First time ever that I have had a "mediocre" steak here. One of the "specialties of the house" - the bone-in filet was marginal to say the least. Had I not had business guests, I would have definitely spoken with the manager! This is a radical departure from what has always been a great place for steaks in Dallas."

"Have been to many other Ruth's Chris locations around the country over the years and this one was most disappointing in that it felt like being at a tired lunch place but for the efforts of the staff. The food was fair, majorly over priced and the ambience was not what we had anticipated (sitting among jeans and T-shirts was not what we'd expected). We live very near to the restaurant and although it has been around for years this was our first visit and then only because a business associate had given me a gift certificate. Rest assured there are far better steak restaurants in Dallas from many standpoints."

"Wonderful dinner, which was both of our birthdays and anniversary. Our gift for dining with them was a wonderful framed event photograph of us at the table, and double (and free) Cheesecakes rolled in Oreo Cookie crumbs with the chocolate homemade peanut clusters, with the words Happy Birthday written on one plate in chocolate and Happy Anniversary written on the other plate. The Lobster appetizer is wonderful, plus they created a scallop appetizer for us at our request. BOTH delicious! The VP of the Ruth Chris Region came by our table, which was a delight. All in all the 2 hour meal was delicious and the multiple waiters assuring great service--is above and beyond!"

"Our waitress, Dawn, did a poor job of taking care of us. She seemed almost put-out that she had to wait on us. She rolled her eyes often and was openly frustrated with our general requests. General requests such as asking for more salad dressing and so forth, My companion was given a burnt filet (very unusual for Ruth Chris). Dawn acted frustrated toward my friend that she had to replace it. This part of her "service" was very uncomfortable. One of the chef's was kind enough to come out and talk to my companion about the steak. Dawn stood behind him rolling her eyes and then walked away. We will request a male waiter in the future in the hopes that we will have better service."

"Ruth's Chris was good, but when eating out and paying upwards of $100.00 per person, I expect great. When we were being seated, the hostess took our party of three to a two top in the back room and then left us standing there because she didn't have the right table. It was a little awkward for us to say the least. Our server was polite, but didn't run through all the specials like we heard the one next to us doing and she took forever to get our drinks and put our food order in.
We had the calamari for an appetizer-that was a mistake. It was virtually non-existent in the sea of fried batter and it was soggy from the Asian sauce that they put on it. However, the main entrees (sea bass w/ scallops and ribeye) and desserts were good."

"I asked for more bread and we never got it. The server said she had told someone else to bring it but didn't check to see if they had or not. The lobster tail I got was overcooked. Dry and chewy. The manager came over right away after I told the server and he deducted 20.00 off of the bill and we also got a free dessert! My filet was excellent and perfectly cooked. The creamed spinach was great, not too salty and no overpowering cheesy taste. (Some creamed spinach like Kenny's Woodfired Grill, has cheese in it!)"

"We've eaten at steak houses all over the world and never had a finer meal. Joey, our server, was impeccable. Friendly and attentive, he helped make this a world class meal. Food was uniformly outstanding. So nice to see the chef in the dining room speaking with guests. GREAT new cocktail- Maker's Mark and Port, shaken very cold into a cocktail glass. Valet parking was also perfect. What more can I say? HIGHEST RECOMMENDATION!"

"Our group of 8 had a great Valentine's celebration at Ruth's Chris. The reservation process was very easy through OpenTable. Our group was seated at our reservation time and we were treated to a private dining room which impressed all of us. Everyone thought that I had arranged the private dining room, but I think that it was an accommodation provided by the restaurant which was a great touch. The waiter made the evening very enjoyable he was upbeat and very timely with food delivery. The food was excellent and the portion sizes were more than adequate. Overall, a great evening and a very enjoyable dining experience."

"We had 3 young girls with us celebrating her 11th bday. It was a Sunday night and a bit more crowded than usual with large parties. Our waitress was very nice, came and got girls drink orders then delivered drinks and walked off before asking us for appetizers or our adult drink choices. She was gone for 20 minutes taking the orders of a large private party. When she did come back, we ordered everything at once - adult drinks, appetizers and main course so we weren't delayed any further. The appetizers came before our drinks. The Porterhouse was undercooked and had to go back. It was all very tasty as usual, but it just wasn't as pleasant as an experience as we've had in the past."
