"We felt a little rushed by our server, I'm not sure if this is because we had such a large party or what the case was. Our view was great and the food was good. However, next time we'll probably just go to a Ruby's restaurant as I feel that their portion sizes are much bigger for the amount of money that we spent."

"My husband's first comment was that it reminded him of a cruise ship. The next thing we noticed was that people were smoking at the bar, not that that is a crime (I have been known to sneak one every now and then), but we had gotten so used to the smoking ban elsewhere, the smell was noticeable and unpleasant. Our waiter was great! He gave us a fantastic recommendation on wine and steered us right on our food ordering, however, the food fell short of what we had hoped. The menu was fairly creative, but did echo a bit of a cruise ship standard with repeated sauces, redundant sides and no wiggle room to customize a entree, which we tried to do. Its still a beautiful place, the waitstaff was professional, but I will stick to Cincy restaurants."

"I have been critical of this restaurant in the past. I am glad to report that the quality of the food as well as the knowlege of the waitstaff has improved considerably. Service was prompt and attentive but not over-bearing, food quality was outstanding, lobster bisque was of perfect consistency and of proper temperature, and overall experience was of perfection. Kudos to the chef and waitstaff!"

Just be aware that prices are at the upper end and no doubt the highest of all restaurants along Riverboat Row. You will receive well prepared food and wonderful service for those prices."

"The food was fabulous. The wine our server suggested was excellent. Our table was situated in an awkward location but still enjoyed ourselves. The service was pretty good but I would recommend avoid going during Prom Season only due because it seemed our server was a bit overwhelmed. The view of the Ohio River and Downtown Cincinnati was very nice. If you are looking for a romantic location I wouldn't necessarily suggest this location only because the noise level is pretty high but if you are looking a place with good food and drinks with a lively atmosphere for a party of 4 or more then this is the place to go."

"Went with a couple of my girlfriends on a Friday night. Ordered the filet and it was overcooked and unseasoned. I would have sent it back, but the server didn't come back to our table, and we were in a bit of a rush to get to a show, so I just ate it. The yukon gold mashed potatoes were very good, so at least I had that. My friends ordered the chicken romano and the salmon and both said that their entrees were good. Overall, the people were friendly and it was nice to have a view of the river and have convenient parking, just wish they made a better steak."

"If you want "OUTSTANDING" food and service,look no further. The surf and turf (filet & lobster tail) w/Oscar topping was unreal. The chicken romano just melted in your mouth. We also enjoyed the chopped salad and lobster bisque. The bisque is out of this world,my wife loves that chopped salad. This was a very inexpensive meal when you factor in food,service and one of the best views."

"Met friends here from out of town for an annual "catch-up" dinner. Since they lived here before, I knew they'd enjoy the view. But the food was the spotlight of the evening. I had one of the seasonal entrees, sundried tomato ravioli with shrimp, and it was a "ten"! Every bite burst with flavor and the portion was large. They still have the best spinach salad I've had anywhere and the creamed spinach was also excellent. Both my friends were quite pleased with their orders, as well. All-in-all, I'd say it was a perfect dining experience!"

"I ordered the 6 oz filet with the Oscar topping. The steak was excellent but I found the Oscar topping (crab meat) to be overly strong and not worth the extra expense. My wife ordered the Scallops which were excellent. Otherwise, the meal met our expectations. Our waiter was attentive without being intrusive."

"First experience and well worth it for a very special occaison - great food, drinks, ambiance, etc - but a $100+ tab for two (not including gratuity) keeps this place from being an average-weekend spot. Food was very good, borderline outstanding. My dish was very good, my girlfriend's was outstanding. They could come up with some more creative side dishes though. Got mashed potatoes and asparagus for both. Overall, very good experience."

"Being in KY, the restaurant allows smoking indoor. We sat at a booth which happens to be next to the bar. We had smoke in our face nearly ther entire meal. Also, the portions were tiny. Service was great!~"

"What a delightful evening! My wife and I visited Chart House (Newport, KY) for a pre-Valentine's Day dinner. We were promptly seated prior to our reservation time at a corner table with wonderful views of the Cincinnati skyline and Ohio River. The filet medallions w/coconut shrimp were absolutely delicious as was the shrimp platter w/scampi, crab meat and more coconut shrimp. Their Hot Chocolate Lava Cake is incredible. We will definitely return and try more dishes. The personnel, atmosphere, service and food were impeccable and made for a very special night. Try this restaurant, soon!"

"This restuarant was overall a great find . The view was spectacular but the food was not up to par. The steak and potatoes lacked flavor . The steak had to much fat so a 16 oz ended up being 10. On the other hand presentation was excellent , steak was tender , and service spectacular . I would suggest trying somethin other than the steak to get your money's worth ."
