"This was a Birthday celebration meal for my wife, and as a visitor to Miami from the UK, I chose the Chart House Miami after research on the internet. I must say that my wife and I were not disappointed, and our request for a window table was already arranged prior to our arrival, and also my message entered in my OpenTable.com online reservation that it was a birthday celebration had also been noted by the restaurant, and a "Happy birthday" message printed on the top of our personal menus. A very nice touch! The service was excellent, the food was first class, easily as good as I have been served in recognized top class restaurant's world wide. So, along with a very good wine list, this dining experience was first class and most enjoyable."

"We had a reservation for 730p but arrived nearly an hour early because we happened to be walking by. We waited in the waiting area until approximately 720p to be seated, which is understandable. The waiting area is very nice so we did not mind the wait. We ordered three drinks from the bar while we waited. The bar seems to be somewhat thinly staffed so the wait for the drinks was a little long, although, according to them, they don't normally serve guests in the waiting area, so that may have contributed to the wait. Once seated, all things were enjoyable, however, it does take a little bit to get bread to the table but it is fresh. Our waiter, Fernando, was great. The Long Island Ice Teas and Herb Crusted Salmon are both great."

"I first ate at the Chart House 25 yrs ago, and while the economy may have impacted the number of diners, the food is every bit as good as I remembered. It's situated in between two Marinas, but sits right on Biscayne Bay, a Fabulous dining view and atmosphere. A must visit for anyone looking for great food in Miami. While it's a little off the beaten path, it's very easy to get to from most anywhere in miami. Enjoy!"

"It was a great experience ,the waiter was very attentive,nice and gave us ideas on the specials that night . The salad bar was excellent, the food was exquisite (congratulations to the chef) .We will definitely return aND WILL TELL EVERYONE this is one of the best restaurants in the Grove and Miami."

"My girlfriend and I went on Valentine's Day. The food was absolutely fantastic. It was a prix fixe menu, and the selection and execution was delicious. The service left some to be desired, however. Our waiter didn't do terribly, but left more to be desired. Plus, when we asked for a taxi to be called from first the waiter and then the hostess, they were less than enthused. We almost missed it when both the hostess and the doorman said the valet would call us down to the cab. This wasn't a policy of the restaurant, and if not for a secondary hostess, we would have waited longer. It's a great experience and great waterfront dining (a surprising rarity in Miami), but that could be something that's worked on."

"the waiting was more than an hour, even though we had reservations, when we sat nobody came to ask us for drinks, the girl who was like the maitre d saw us and sent the waiter, he was nice but never returned to refill our glasses. It was not a good experience , we like the Chart House because of the quality of food, the service, and the environment, just that this night none of that was present, I think it was because it was the super bowl weekend, I hope that that was the only reason, like I said I like your restaurant and I want to come back"

"The staff was great in making my 15 yr olds birthday a good one with the menu printed Happy Birthday.
The only thing that amazes me now is that people get "annoyed" if it is a celebration and the staff is not permitted to sing happy birthday? Years ago it was allowed but now people forget how fun it was for them. They just tend to "grow up" and forget what it was like when they were young.. This is my only negative comment. And no your restaurant is not the only one who does this. Seems that is the "way of things" now. A true pity."

"Even though the place is awesome, it is kind of downgraded from my previous visit, tables and chairs, silverware,etc. Still they have Charmin place and really hope get better not worse in the incoming years. by the way,,, the food in my part was great, but my wife as for steak (not a god idea) and it was overcooked. Wine selection very good. Dessert good as always."

"Excellent always. Great salad bar, food. Extensive menu. Wonderful waitress. Knowlegeable, helpful with food choices, attentive and extremely polite asking to remove plates / food without assuming we were finished. The manager made himself available navigating each table to ensure an excellent dining experience. We celebrate my birthday every year here and this is the place my husband choose to ask for my hand in marriage. We live 45 minutes away. The ride is scenic and well worth the effort."
