"I have been going to the Chart House a couple of times a year for quite a while. It's been almost a year since I was there last and this is the first time that I have really been disappointed. The crab stuffed mushroom was just so-so. The salad bar was really poor. Nothing there, including the salad dressing had any flavor at all. The filet mignon was tasty, but chewy. The baked potato (which costs extra) which I had always found to be delicious in previous visits, was ordinary and kind of soggy. The mud pie (coffee ice cream with chocolate sauce and a cookie type bottom) was huge and the ice cream was good, but it could really have used more chocolate sauce. All in all, a grave disappointment."

"Host accommodated request to be seated by the window, since this specification is not available via online reservations. Waiter was attentive, humorous, and extremely professional; helped select a delicious Riesling off the wine menu. Food arrived promptly and was delicious. "Understanding it was Valentines Day, we expected a wait longer than our reservation time. The Hostess' were apologetic and kept us informed about our seating time. "Excellent location. First time visit and the staff treated me like a long time patron. Very friendly and accommodating. My guest was very impressed with my selection for our Valentine dinning. Menu selection was excellent and the food and bar service is first class. "The main reason I wanted to go their with my wife on Valetine's day is to have a nice up-scale atmosphere and.. oysters... They were out of oysters (?!?) as well as that atmosphere too. Service was horrible: we arrived right on time but had to wait for 30 minutes to get a table... waiters were terribly slow however there was half of tables vacant... I would not recommend it..."

"This is the third Chart House restaurant I've dined at, and honestly, it was my least favorite. I'm not sure if it was the service or the food that I base my opinion, but it's been my least favorable. The wine was good, the food was decent, the desert was a little to be desired. Each time I've eaten at the Chart House I always order their Lava Cake. A must. This time, being my 4th visit to the Chart House, the desert failed. The brownie cake was overdone, therefore, it was disqualified as a "Lava" cake. We had a party of 6 and had ordered 2. A member of my party asked the waiter, "Where's the lava?"... but little to no response was given. He only came back to give us some lame presentation to sign up to their dining card..."

"Great place with views of the marina. Food was excellent, prime rib with a side of creamed spinach. Mud pie dessert must not be missed. Service was so-so. I think the waiter may have been a little new and made a few mistakes. However, I place a lot of importance on the food and ambiance, and service mistakes don't bother me very much. My seat was in front of the order processing area, and every so often, some noises were made (like the loud closing of a folder) which made me jump because my back was to the activity. It cost about $106 for dinner (incl tax and tip) for the two of us."

"The overall dining experience was okay. Just okay. We went on a Sunday, around 7:00 PM. I think there were three cars in the valet-only parking lot. Although we had reservations, and were early, we were seated promptly. (It was very empty.) Curiously, we were asked if we had a reservation. (Again, it was a relatively empty restaurant--at the point we arrived, and when we left.)

I ordered the Pacific Tuna, which came with "steamed" vegetables and a seasoned rice side. The food was mediocre at best. There is apparently no understanding of what "steamed" vegetables means to most people. The vegetables I was served (broccoli and red peppers) were limp and soft--boiled quality, not steamed. "Christmas is a busy time for restaurants and I was running late, so called to tell the rest of my party to go ahead, be seated and order and I would try to get there as soon as possible. "We got to this restaurant very early and even though it was almost empty, we were seated in a table very close to the open kitchen. That was a little annoying and made me a little upset.

The server Natacha was very kind and efficient.

"This was a great dining experience. Our server was very good and hlep with selcetions, and the food was teriffic. I ordered the crispy duck and it was one of the best, if not the best, duck meals I have ever had. Everyone is our party enjoye the experience."

"I took a chance on Chart House for our Thanksgiving dinner this year. The appetizers were good but the traditional Thanksgiving dinner was the worst I've had at a restaurant the caliber of Chart house. I'll stick with McCormick and Schmick's for future holiday meals."

"Show up @ 8:10 for our 8:15 reservation. It took over 25 minutes to be seated. Ordered a glass of viognier wine from the wine by the glass on the menu. Waitress came back and asked if that was a red or a white. I informed her it was a white and pointed it out on the menu. 5 minutes later she came back and said they didn't have any. No big deal, ordered a glass of Sauvignon Blanc, she brought Cabernet Sauvignon. Oh well. I ordered Chilean sea bass, which is almost impossible to overcook and it was overcooked. My wife ordered prime rib rare to medium rare. It came out medium to well, we sent it back and the waitress returned with a similar piece saying this is as rare as we have it, and walked away. This place used to be great,not now"

"This place is stuck in the '80's. It is an older crowd...not very happening, unless you are 60 or older. Decor is just old. Food was good."

"We were seated immediately but the restaurant was not full. Service was good to excellent and my food only good. the ambiance with views of the harbor and sailboats is outstanding. I do not know of any outdoor dining."
