"Always a great place to enjoy a drink in the lounge, appetizers, or a full course meal. Recently enjoyed Sunday Brunch with 7 member's in our group. Service was impeccable. We ordered different items from menu and each order was prepared perfectly and delicious. Everyone commented positively on the atmosphere, choices, quality of food and service. A must place to visit in Annapolis and enjoy a meal or just cocktails!"

"Glad we made reservations!! This is the first time I've been to a crowded restaurant on Father's Day. Usually it's crowded onyl for Mother's Day, but this one was a first.
We arrived 15 mins. before our reservation at 5:45 pm reservations. The hostess assurd us that we would be seated momentariely and we were. Our waiter, Eric came promptly over and introduced himself and was very accommodating and pleasant.
The bread was warm, and our entrees were nice and hot when they arrived. The atmosphere was nice but a little noisy . . . it was father's day.
I'm always going to return to this restaurant . . . again and again!"

"I've been to another Chart House in the past, but the Chart House in Annapolis is amazing. The view is breathtaking and the salad bar is amazing. I don't recall the other location having a salad bar and the bar really steps it up for this restaurant. In addition, all of the staff are friendly and professional.
The presentation of the food was also amazing. Great chef! Definitely will be going back!"

"Our group of ten (10) enjoyed our evening at the Charthouse with exceptional services and reliable fare. We arrived fairly early and took the opportunity to cruise the immediate bay with a convenient boat rental on the same pier as the Chart House. We started the evening with a selection of oysters on the half-shell, which were fabulous; and pan fried calamari which was crisp and delicious. The party for the most part had fresh fish options and I heard nothing but compliments. I personally had the fresh Maryland Crab Cakes which were solid with no fill and not over seasoned, which is frequently the case. All-in-all a pleasant evening on the Bay."

"We were sat and then waited and waited and waited. People kept walking by and looking at us, but no one said a thing. This went on for a while as we scanned the expensive menu. We noticed the table get sat shortly after us and was immediately approached by a server. I finally stopped a server and asked for help. Then, my husband watched two servers argue over who's table it really was. For goodness sake, who cares... just approach us, say hello and get us a drink, then figure it out. The server then approached us, was very nice and apologetic and took our drink order, but then, we sat and waited for too long after that, so we left. For that kind of money, the customer experience had better be light years beyond that! Carrol's Creek!"

"Whenever we visit friends in Silver Spring we love to come to the Chart House and sit at a table with a view of the water. We get to catch up with each other while enjoying the ambiance, great seafood, and specialty cocktails. We never feel rushed. The service is always good. Anytime is a good time there."

"Really enjoyed the evening. The wait staff was attentive to our needs, and in most cases, proactively met our expectations. Never had to ask for a refill, nor did an empty plate sit more than one to two minutes. My wife stepped out for a minute, and the waitress came by and refolded her napkin! Really enjoyed the waterfront view and atmosphere. Had a reservation for the dining room, but had no trouble finding seating in the large windowed atrium. Food was excellent, I'd highly recommend the bronzed striped bass and the molten lava dessert. A definite plus when visiting Annapolis."

"We enjoyed a phenomenal appetizer and we were looking forward to dinner until the power unexpectedly went out! We were told that due to the power being out they were unable to serve us. We went To Main Street but to be honest the night was ruined. We were frustrated. i am leaving the country and it was the last time I would see my boyfriend before I left.
I have been to the chart house before and I absolutely loved it. That is why I chose to come again. I hope that in the future I will be able to give it anther try. My parents were disappointed with the event

"Chart House in Annapolis is the perfect place to celebrate a special occasion. A group of friends and I planned a birthday party, and the service was outstanding! We had a separate server for food and beverages, as one might expect in a fine dining establishment. The food is truly delectable. And because the staff new ahead of time that this was a special occassion, they couldn't have been more amazing to us! Not a single detail overlooked to make her day special."

"I was so disappointed this time when I planned to bring my fiance there for her 30th birthday. We even brought her mom who had flown out to celebrate. The only good part of the experience was the menu she received that said "Happy Birthday". We ordered alcohol. She got crown and ginger and the crown didn't taste like crown. We said something to the waiter who basically said "I can assure you it's crown but the ginger ale might just be flat". The dinner was ok. I had the same dish I had last time, but it was in no way near as good as last time. We came last time for my birthday and I got me a little ice cream and a candle. They didn't even do that for her. Had a good experience the first time, but this time it was not what we expected."

"The food was delicious and the service was wonderful, as usual-my husband and I sat in front by the water and it was lovely. We had dined in the main dining room area before, but I didn't realize how gorgeous the front was until now! We enjoyed watching the sailboats and water activity outside, and the morning the sunshine. The salad bar that came with our brunch was one of the best I've had-I would have been satisfied with that alone! For $25 per person, we thought it was a luxurious meal. And you can't beat .99 mimosas and champagne! I'll definitely bring family here when they visit from out of town, as the service and meal quality is always consistent."

"We've been at the restaurant on several special occasions. This time it was to celebrate an anniversary as well as a niece's birthday. Quality of food was considerably less than past experiences, including the salad bar and two overcooked,chewy shrimp dishes. For a $500+ tab for 5 people (three adults, two teens), the highlight for our visitors was the water taxi ride. We were familiar with other local restaurants and had assumed that this one would have met our past expectations -- the food, noisy guests and loud atmosphere made it overall less than desirable."

"We had a very attentive waiter; whatever was asked of him he cheerfully performed for us. The atmosphere was nice and intimate--what I always want in a restaurant. The herb-crusted salmon was excellent. I will always want to come back to this restaurant."

"We celebrated my parent's 70th birthdays at The Chart House in Annapolis. The food, service and ambiance was fantastic. We were welcomed with personalized menus for the birthday celebration. They rolled the menus into scrolls with ribbon to take home. I will be craving the Macadamia Encrusted TILAPIA forever. The menu listed Mahi Mahi with this preparation, but our server indicated the chefs are happy to prepare any of the fresh fish options similarly. It was delicious. Not a single complaint from the 9 of us. We definitely recommend trying one of their signature preparations. We will return to The Chart House whenever possible!!"

"AMAZING!! Went for my moms 50th birthday and though it was expensive (about 200 for 4 people, including app, soup, entree and dessert..so truly not too bad) The food was amazing. The Cream of Crab soup is the best ever! HUGE chucks of crab in it!! AMAZING. Dessert was just as good, the waitress warned of us of the wait for it but it was worth it! They even printed happy 50th birthday on her menu, really it was very personalized service and made her feel really special! Great!! Go here on your next big event!!"

"We met a young relative who was in town. Wanted to have an early dinner and time to chat. Since she is a pescetarian, this seemed a good place. The menu was great, with plenty of options and the kitchen is flexible if you want to change up or combine things. We all enjoyed our meals. Service was superb. Great view from the windows. We had a wonderful time."

"We are frequent diners at the Chart House Annapolis. We always have excellent service from the waitstaff. We opt for the bar side (first come, first served with regard to seating), as it has the more open view of Spa Creek.
On the menu, the diner cannot go wrong with the crab cakes; however, for the non-seafood lover, the filet mignon is always excellent. Pair either entree with the salad bar and creme brulee for dessert."

"My husband and I used to go to chart house for special occasions when I lived near Annapolis 3 yes ago. We came back for our anniversary and the food and service has not changed a bit! EXCELLENT!! Take a water taxi over and enjoy the water.... It's an entirely different experience... I love the chart house and highly recommend it to any seafood lover out there!!"

"I would like to first and say that we have had many a great dinner here. This time we tried it for a Mother's Day and I will have to say that our dinner was significantly below par. The place was booked which may have had something to do with it. I had the King Salmon special which turned out to be over cooked and somewhat dry which I believe is difficult to achieve with salmon. The other Halibut and Shrimp special was ok but also over done. The dinner did take a long time to arrive, so much so that the manager came over to apologize for the delay. The service was spotty and slow, and the server was shaking like a leaf. If this were my first experience here, I would probably never return. As it is, I will not return for a holiday special."

The host was also very nice. It had been a while since we had been there and we discussed that it can't be that long before we return. "This was our first time dining at the Chart House. Our server Omar was good; however he did tell us there was caviar on the salad bar and there wasn't any. Our food took a while before it came out . When the food finally came out both my husband and my food was cold. Also the portion sizes were rather small for the prices. The manager attempted to fix the situation by giving us free desserts. We are not sure if we will go back."
