"I had a lovely Mother's Day Brunch here with my parents and my daughter. The menu was terrific - had something for everybody - and all was delicious. They had a kids menu on the Brunch menu, which was much appreciated. I have eaten here before, and came back for the lovely food, good atmosphere, generous table sizes and distance between tables, and gracious service. Couldn't have been happier."

"The vegetarian paella was overcooked the rice/quiona was cooked hard and the asparagus was so tough I couldn't eat it.They were the bottom which most cooks discard. The service was excellent but the waiter could have noticed all the parts of the dish which were put to the side.
The carrots while of the baby variety were also hard and difficult to chew"

"Food is very good. We've never been there on a weekend, but weekdays are very quiet except in the bar area - not sure why except perhaps a tad pricey for every day. Portions are generous, well prepared fresh ingredients."

"As soon as we arrived we felt welcome. Wait staff helpful and attentive. Food was great and so was Sangria. We had been at this site before under different restaurants and this was definitely superior. Hope it lasts as long as the Boxing Cat which was there for a long time. Will go there freguently."

"The decor is lovely, the music is a bit loud. The food was the big surprise and delight. The fish and vegatbles are super fresh and so well prepared. The sauces make the meal. They are light but add that touch of unexpected Latino flavor.
I would definitely recommend and go back."

"Wonderfully spacious and warm atmosphere.Extensive wine list, creative cocktails and variety of in-house Sangrias. Food was beautifully presented, followed with the most wonderful aromas, tastes and textures! Difficult to decide favorites - Spanish omelet w/Potato & Onion; Scallops in Apple Cider Cava Sauce; Blue Crab Croquettes; Steamed Mussels w/Chorizo; Seared Hawaian Yellow Fin Tuna; Mac 'n cheese, jamon serrano, wild mushrooms, garlic, truffle oil - many more delectable choices we have sampled, ALL indescribably good!"

"We started with the cava and pomegranate sangrias which were very good. The appetizer which was brought to the table (gratis) was extremely bland. My husband and I shared the paella. The seafood was very overcooked and the seasoning was uninteresting. One of our friends also had the paella and she, too, found it to be overcooked. Another friend had the short ribs which he said were excellent."

"Great menu and meal for two, using Living Social coupon of $52 for 2 tapas, entrees and desserts. Tasty food, immediately recommended restaurant to others, who also raved. Service issues that we had experienced in the former Greenwich Tavern seem to have gone away, and the kitchen is back to full stride as it was with Palomino"

"Went with two other couples. Cool atmosphere, knowledgeable and attentive waitstaff , great food. I LOVE tapas. Everyone liked it. It was a little bit too loud - couldn't converse easily with the people across the table - so I wouldn't recommend for large parties, BUT it was a wonderful overall experience and we all said we'd go back."

"I used a living social deal. They seated us with a menu specifically for the deal so not all of the food on the menu was available. Overall, the food was very good. We had the lamb meatballs and skirt steak with blue cheese. For entrees we chose the seafood paella and the organic chicken. The paella was excellent. The chicken was a little flavorless but overall good. Desserts were flan and chirps which were also very good. The service was a little below average. It took a while to get drinks. Halfway trough our meal our waiter disappeared without a trace ( assuming he went home). We looked around and waved down another waiter. Seating wash a problem as we went at 9:30 at night and didn't feel rushed to leave. I would go back again."

"The restaurant lived up to its recent "Excellent" review by the New York Times. We had been great fans and frequent patrons of Greenwich Tavern, so we were pleased to find that Bistro Latino was every bit as good as its former incarnation. The tapas are uniformly excellent, and the menu has tremendous variety so that there is something to please everyone. Sangria was a fun and economical alternative to an excellent and extensive, although a tad pricey, wine list. We look forward to returning!"

"Service was awful. Took too long for the waiter to take our order and then after the appetizers, the second round took way to long to come. And then, to get the desert menu, he was sort of surprised that we were even interested in desert. We ordered the Chorros, 30 minutes later still were not at our table. We finally spoke to the manager, came in about 3 minutes and nicely, they did not charge us for them.
Food was really good, but the service made it a hard to return to restaurant."

"Not another Tapas restaurant, ah, but there's the rub, it is not just another Latin micro-serving/mega pricing "haute spot". This comes with the knowing hands and mind of Rafael Palomino. Be sure to make reservations early because this place is going to be jammed for a long, long time. In today's economy, people vote with their feet and their wallets and it looks to be a landslide victory for this restaurant. Love the sideways racked wine bottles as decor. Service was attentive and knowledgable. Who'd a thunk mac & cheese could be gourmet, Rafael did and boy was he right."

"The service both the maitre'd and our waiter, were clueless. A long wait at the table before we were acknowledged and served our drinks. The food was good for one in our party but the paella was over salted and the fish ,although on the menu listed as a filet ,was a whole fish. This is perhaps the third venture with the same owner at this location. Good luck with the poor service and reception, what's next?"

"I have been here several time and have always enjoyed it. The restaurant must be catching on because on this particular Saturday night it was a busy as I have ever seen it.We were seated in a lovely side room which is used when the main dining the main dining room is full. The service was non -existent. Twice I had to get up and say something to the manager. I also spoke to the bartender who I have gotten to know through my patronage, and he made personally made sure we were well cared for. The food as always was very good and they were kind enough to offer us complimentary desserts. I would also highly recommend their happy hour. Five dollar specialty drinks and tapas in a nice bar setting."

"Enjoyed the new tapas menu. Favorites included the beet salad, grilled oysters, salmon tartare, and steak flatbread. Our group of four liked the unusual pomegranate sangria, although would I'd prefer a glass of wine on my next visit."
