"Easily the finest osso bucolic I have had anywhere. Though the waiter attempted to spoil the experience with his poor service as he focused entirely on another party of two, the food was so fine the waiter failed to ruin our experience. We will go back again soon, and will gladly accept any other waiter or waitress. Thanks for a wonderful dinner."

"We would rate it a half step above most Italian Chain Restaurants. We purchased it on Living Social. We will not return, food was just ok, wine list expensive, service slow.
For the two of us we had a $100.00 tab. Too many other fine dining spots in Scottsdale to enjoy!"

"This was our first time eating here, and we were very pleased with everything. The food, service and atmosphere were way beyond most of the Italian restaurants in the area, particularly the big higher priced chains. As an added benefit, the portions were huge so we had enough for dinner the next night."

"I don't usually post a bad review but this time I will make an exception. Based on the write ups from other diners on Open Table my friends and I were expecting a really good meal. We were disappointed. Our waitress left us waiting for long periods of time. She took the coupon I had brought with me and then promptly forgot to deduct it and then when she did deduct it (with an attitude) the sales tax was not adjusted. Our meals were all just OK. We are not planning on ever going back."

"Although the restaurant was less than half full, it took a long time for anyone to come to our table once we were seated, and a long time before our drink order was taken, and a long time before our dinner order was taken, and a long time for . . . well, you get the picture. Our bill was wrong - two expensive dishes were substituted for two moderately priced ones . . . good thing we checked the tab! The food was good, but similar quality and better ambiance can be found at other less expensive sites, and I've never had that kind of error on a bill before."

"La Torretta Ristorante is simply a great dining experience. It is our "go to" restaurant when we want a quiet, pleasant dinner that is based on traditional Italian fare. We visit it on special occasions when we are seeking high quality food, great service, and pleasant atmosphere. La Torretta does not cater to "foodies" and people seeking a "wow" experience based on the latest trendy food and entertainment concepts. It just does a fine job of serving good Italian food in a pleasant environment."
