"when we arrived at the restaurant the 1st thing i noticed was how loud the music was and the type of songs that were playing. FOr being a high end restaurant, the music did not for the scene. We were there celebrating my sons 21stbd and it wasnt a nice setting at all. Our waitress did have the volume lowered which did help. For special occasions, I would not chose sullivans again."

"We were very disappointed with the King of Prussia Sullivan's. Our food was not hot and it took a long time to get it. Our waitress and management were nice but we were very disappointed with the food and the portion sizes were small. We usually go to the one in Wilmington, Delaware but this one was closest to our church. Mother's day lunch at King of Prussia Sullivan's was not good. We have been to this one before and it was awful then as well. The food has been consistently bad at this one"

"Very, very noisy on Mother's Day and very busy. The service was slow but friendly. The side dishes did not come out with the main courses, so you either ate your steak and had the sides for dessert, or sat and waited with a steak on an otherwise empty plate until your meal was completely served. I was not happy that the brussel sprouts was served with bacon, which is not mentioned on the menu, and I wouldn't eat it. When I asked to have it removed from the bill, it was done without hesitation."

"Great food, atmosphere & service. Expect high end prices of about $75 - $125 per person depending on appetizers, sides and drinks. Party of 7 cost ~$500. Saturday night at about 7pm the noise level was too loud for guests to hear the conversation of anyone other than those seated to their immediate left or right."

"We have been to a lot of steak houses and this is one of the best. The steaks were cooked perfectly with amazing flavor on the chili encrusted rib eye with the roasted red pepper truffle butter. Our waitress was great and we all had a wonderful experience. Sure to go back in the future. Highly recommend."

"The Kansas City Prime is such an amazing cut! I have always LOVED this cut here at Sullivan's and they cooked it perfectly.
I have tried their specials, which are touted as more flavor and higher quality such as dry aged bone in rib eye and bone in filet - but i have always regretted that decision, as this steak has a lower cost and I believe the flavor and quality are BETTER that any other at Sullivan's. Great dinner! 5 *****
The service was attentive and the horseradish mashed were excellent, as were the onion rings.
I do miss their old chocolate brownie dessert which was really amazing...the new version is a bit drier with out the liquid center...it is very good, but not amazing,

"The entrees were mixed up and not cooked as requested and one of the cuts of steak was very fatty. The manager and wait staff were very apologetic and made sure that everything was corrected and provided a dessert tray on the house. "From the moment we stepped into the dining room there was a blasting of 80-90's music. Our meal started with a loaf of bread that was so hard you couldn't use the knife. We could only literally break it a part. It actually "snapped" because it was so hard. My husband ordered the rib-eye medium. It came out completely well done. The manager said he would get a new steak out within a couple of minutes. Well, 25 minutes later he finally returned - and I was already done my meal - the onion rings were almost a cold soggy mess by that point. Even when the rings first came out they were under-cooked and quite soggy. Cigarette smoke was also in the room the entire time from the people smoking on the patio - I tasted smoke as I ate."

"My husband and I went to Sullivan's on Saturday for a date. When we arrived the noise level was high! It was a packed house and everyone was chatting, laughing and having a good time. My food was fantastic (filet duxelle) and my husband was pleased with his dry aged steak special as well. I would definitely go again, but I would go with a group rather than for a quiet date night (this is not a slam on the restuarant, we came at the peak time and I would much rather a fun atmosphere over a stuffy one). Our waitress was personable,knowledgeable and incredibly pleasant. Overall, it was a great night!"

"This was our first time to the restaurant and we were disappointed. We had figured this would be a good place to go for a nice steak dinner given it's reputation. However, the mushroom soup came out lukewarm and my filet was on the tough side and had some fat on it. The cheese steak egg rolls were delicious as was the french onion soup that my companion had. The wait staff did eventually come over to check on us and replaced my mushroom soup, but at that point, my dining companion had finished his french onion soup, so that was disappointing. We are glad we tried it, but we won't be back. The prices are on the high side for the quality of the food we had."

"Two members of our party had to send their steak back. One once and the other three times. By the time it finally came out, it was so charred, I was surprised he ate it! Then the manager brought him potatoes au gratin, since the other sides were gone and most of us had finished our meal. They were cold in the middle! Now, in all fairness, the manager comped his meal, all of the sides and all of the desserts. But other than that, my other dining parters loved their meal, me included. It was the three filet medallions with oscar, pepper and butter on them the special that night. Our original sides were warm too. The spinach salad was huge! I typically don't take home food from a vendor dinner, but the medallions came home, great!"

"They did not have the 4 course prix fixe $36 special that was advertised on open table under Sullivan's specials . The manager Tim O'Brien found the menu and honored the price. WE were celebrating a 60th birthday.Sullivans made it very memorable with great food, good deal, ambience, personable staff and a family photo to remember the nite. We will definitely recommend and return. really the best of the steakhouses in KOP."

"I choose "Hot Spot" because of my disappointing experience with my appetizer. I thought I was ordering calamari. I thought I was eating calamari. I wasn't. I was eating a fried hot pepper ring, which in a darkened ambiance looked like a calamari ring. I remember asking the waiter if the Shanghai Calamari was hot/spicy. He said the sauce was slightly hot and he would ask the cook to put the dipping sauce on the side. It was only after he saw me struggling to catch my breath that he told me there was cherry hot pepper rings mixed in with the calamari rings.
My wedge was not finished and my N Y Strip was finished by my husband. The hot peppers put a bad feeling in my palette and because of that, I had a disappointing meal"

"We had a wonderful meal, and a productive business discussion. Tables were far enough apart that we could converse openly, and had no problems with noise from other tables. The food, as always, was magnificent. We were seated on time, and served beautifully."

"My husband and I were celebrating our 2nd wedding anniversary and Sullivan's treated us very well. They took our picture and had the staff sign the frame around it. They also have us a complementary dessert and many of the staff came up to say " happy anniversary". Good was excellent as well."

"Food is good, but expensive. Four people for dinner and drinks, $379 plus tip!!! Waitress was quite pleasant, but one of our guest's dinners came out wrong. Also, one drink, one dessert were forgotten and one of the desserts was missing the berries promised. Then a whole plate of fresh berries was presented in its' place and then we were charged $8 on bill. Manager did take one of the entrees, the forgotten dessert and the expensive berries off of the bill. Very accommodating."

"I went with my husband and another couple to celebrate 2 50th birthdays. We expected a good meal, drinks, and good conversation. We made reservations and we were seated promptly - everyone was very polite. Our server was excellent, very attentive even with her having to trek up one aisle and down another just to serve us. We got to our table, which was on top of another and sat down in chairs that were so incredibly uncomfortable because the cushions are non-existent so you sink into the chair and the wood! We could barely hear ourselves talk it was so loud. Prices are ridiculous for you get and the food was nothing to write home about...save your money and go elsewhere! Very disappointed and will not be back!"

"I have dined at Sullivan's on many occasions and it was always very good. This time, I was very unhappy with the service and the meal. Once seated it was quite sometime before we were addressed. We had to ask for bread and water quite a few times, prior to getting it. There were long lapses between coarses. the restaurant was not very busy. Not sure if I would return"

"This is one of my favorite steakhouses in the Philadelphia area. The food is always great and the service is top notch as well. Philadelphia is synonymous with the cheesesteak and a lot of restaurants are doing cheesesteak spring rolls. These are by far the best in city. My wife and I got the filet and I am not usually a sauce person but we did get the peppercorn which was delicious and the horseradish mashed potatoes are some of the best around."

"Nice Steak House, noisy place so don't go there for a quiet evening. Service was just barely acceptable, while I gave service a good rating it really was a good minus. Waiter was nice and friednly but a bit slow and we had to keep asking for things. We never did get fresh ground pepper for our salads, it's those little things that make service go from just OK to great."

"We dined here after a show in Center City to celebrate a birthday. The Pre Fixe menu is wonderful and a lot of food. Our table decided on the New York Strip and the Filet Medallions and Shrimp, both were fabulous. Also, the Shanghai Calamari was out of this world delicious along with a wonderful Caesar salad! I definitely recommend Sullivan's and we will be back!"

"Overall the food was great but my wife's Porterhouse steak had to go back 3 times to get the temperature correct. Ended up it never was right, she ate half of the steak and never got the filet portion. Management did come over and did take it off the check."
