"Our server was Megan, she was outstanding, friendly, conversational, knew when to chat and when to leave respectfully.
She is a gem, good recommendations. Food was very good, loved the calamary, salmon was okay, used to be better, steaks looked good and the people who ate them at our table were happy."

"My entire family was very disappointed in the quality of the food and the average quality of the service. As a family we reserve dinners of such a large expense for very special occasions . When a family today spends what is equivalent to an entire weeks worth of groceries on one meal we expect only the best of service and of course only the finest quisine. That is what we expected to receive when we chose Sullivan's Steakhouse for our special occasion. We were served dry and overcooked potatoes at the price of $8.00 each and poor quality steaks. I have worked as a restaurant server in the past and know that I would have been very ashamed to present such poor quality food to my customer. We will not return to this restaurant again."

"This was not my first time dining at Sullivan's, but in general I would give 4 stars. It is not very kid friendly, with limited kid dishes. But, the food is delicious and the desserts are heavenly. I had the Sea Bass for this visit and it was ok. The Sea Bass at Ruth Chris (when the special is running) is much better. So, they had a high standard to compete with. Overall, I love this restaurant and it offers a very nice dinning experience with excellent food."

"We ate here for Father's Day lunch. It was the dinner menu and I found the prices to be very high. None of our steaks were prepared as we had asked. Thought the food was average and VERY overpriced. Will not return."

"If you have a special occasion, especially a romantic occasion, take a good look at Sullivan's. Remember to book early because they can get crowder during special holidays. The food is always impeccable and the service is equal to none. If it could be a larger restaurant, the lobby would not be so crowded and the ambiance in the dining room would be maintained."

"Tryed the new $39 dollar menu. Plenty of food. Quality is good. Not the best meal I have ever eaten, but better than Ruth Crist or St Elmo's. Have eaten there twice and will return. Ocean Prime is still the best in Indy for my money."

"In the past I have had excellent dinners at Sullivan's, but my recent trip negates all the former good impressions.

The food was delivered lukewarm...barely lukewarm. To the credit of the MANAGER, this was given immediate attention and remedied promptly, with free desserts offered as a compensation.

The biggest dissatisfaction we experienced was with the waiter. He delivered "corporate" service, running through the checklist of "to do's" with NO feel or intuition for the dining experience. He was "attentive" at all the WRONG times, interrupting when we should have been left alone to enjoy, and ABSENT when he should have been checking on us. His timing couldn't have been worse, on ALL counts. Management really needs to work on this."

"I have visited Sullivan's several times. This visit was for my birthday. The server never mentioned the special occasion. The service was very slow and we had to ask for drink refills several times. This was a group of 6 adults. A dish for each person had a problem. One had a steak well done when ordered medium. One had cold onion rings. One had very raw vegetables. That the best performance for Sullivan's. (total bill $350) You expect good/excellent service and good/excellent food for that price."

"We went Saturday night before the Indianapolis 500. The bar was full as was the dining room. We ate in the bar to enjoy the piano player and people watching. We decided to just do apps that included a shrimp cocktail, philly beefsteak eggrolls, sashimi tuna, calamari. The meat eaters also chose a filet medium rare and had the kitchen slice it for easy sharing.

I loved that the cocktail sauce didn't have to blow your head off to be tasty. My hub loved the eggrolls though said the sauce was a little sweet. Other apps did not disappoint. The calamari was nice and spicy. Oh yeah.....dessert was coconut cream pie and bananas foster bread pudding. Both fantastic!!"

"I live in Greenwood Indiana so I don't get to come to Sullivans a lot -this was my 3 or 4 time and ALWAYS before the filet - you could just lay the knife on it and cut - so tender and good flavor - I brought my special friend this time for lunch and the steak was stringy and tough - the mashed potatoes had been heated in the microwave and were crusty around the edges - I was embarrassed to say the least when the meal was reasonable but not cheap and we neither one said anything because we don't get together often so we didn't want to complain.

I won't be back when I can go to Outback right up the street from me and get a much better meal for about half the price.

My friend agreed - not so good a meal for the price."

"Staying in Keystone Crossing with an abundance of restaurants to choose from and I decided on Sullivan's. it was a good choice. I was seated right away at a great table. The environment was a nice, upscale not intimidating. I ordered the Portucini Shallot strip cooked medium. It came with a special sauce atop spinach and mashed potatoes. It was excellent! The steak was great. Almost melted in the mouth. It was paired well with the sides. It was just enough since I did had not eaten all day and did not want leftovers in a hotel. I would definitely revisit if I return to the area."

"While the food was good, our server was very slow, not sure if she ha too many tables or if she was working a double which made it a long day for her. We were waiting a while for her to take our order as she walk by our table a few times she made no eye contact for us to get her attention. "We love Sullivan's. So to say our service was fair will not deter us from coming back. However, we waited longer for our food than ever, we were passed over for drinks (even water) for long periods, we were never offered dessert and in the end, we weren't sure who we were tipping. A waitress took our orders, another brought our food and yet another refilled our drinks. A fourth collected our bill and thanked us. The bill, by the way, we had to request from mgmt because our waitress never returned to check on us.
In all, we were there for 2.5 hrs, mostly due to waiting.
Now, that said, we did not complain because we love Sullivan's and they are always SO good to us. But in hind sight, they should at least be aware of the fair service."

"I equate busy to popular and therefore a compliment, but Sullivan's did not manage their reservations well. Showed up a little early and had to wait 15-20 minutes for our table to be ready. They do not allow minors in the bar area so our 12yo could not accompany us so Mom could enjoy a mimosa. Eventually, the foyer was so packed that families with little kids were in the bar area. Hostess must've been having a bad day because she was not very pleasant nor empathetic to those who had to wait. Food was mediocre considering it's Sullivan's. Had crab cakes Benedict and the muffin was scorched. Would recommend going there on a evening midweek. Surprisingly disappointing."

"The restaurant lobby was packed when we arrived for a 1:30 reservation. We were seated about 20 minutes later. It was at least 10 minutes before we had water at the table. probably an hour before our orders were placed and 2 hours before we received our food. By then we were really hungry, although our wine did arrive before that. Our waitress was very apologetic, but said she could only do what was dictated by the kitchen. The manager came over and comp'd us the wine and any desserts we wanted to order. We believe he must have know there was a problem here. It seemed to us that the place had way overbooked and were unable to keep up with reservations made. We won't do Mother's day here again."

"Very good service, food, and booth location. Flowers were on the table waiting for us/Mom to arrive. Only table in place that had flowers/roses at table for Mom. Very successful move by Dad/Son and restaurant. Noise level very high due to many families. Our 6 yr old son contributed his fair share to the noise. All had fun over the 2 hour brunch served at the table."

"Sullivan's was an excellent choice for the dinner I hosted for my clients. Being seated in close quarters was the only real drawback from the evening. The constant bumping of our chairs and the extremely loud group of people behind us was very annoying. However, once I took a bit of my lamb chops followed by the amazing mac and cheese, the too loud group was drowned out by the sound of harp and violins of deliciousness. Everyone enjoyed their food immensely and the calamari we ordered. Portions were generous, so we decided as a group to start with dessert, when we go back."

"My husband & I took our guests to Sullivan's for celebrating a birthday! It was such Chaos, over crowded & so hot!
We hadn't been to Sullivan's for a while. In the past, it was a very classy place with a great atmosphere. So sorry that it has changed for the worst.
We had made a reservation ahead of time & requested for a nice tables. Our table was right by the doorway where people & waiters literally had to turn sideways to avoid contact with my husband's chair. The air was heavy & hot, poor waiters dripping with sweat & diners fanning themselves!
Thank god the food was pretty good. The waiters were very nice & hardworking. Spending about $500.00 for a nice dinner @ a cafeteria atmosphere wasn't what we had in mind."

"We ate early - 5:00 - to avoid the crowd and noise level of later seatings. Our waitress was efficient, friendly (just the right amount) and helpful. We were very happy with our choices from the $39 menu - shrimp cocktail, French onion soup, salmon for one. The cheese steak California roll was a hit as were the caesar salad and steak & shrimp with mashed potatoes. We don't dine out often, but will be back to Sullivan's."

"Had an outstanding waiter (think his name was Tyler). He was courteous, helpful, went out of his way to make us happy. But was not at all intrusive.

Did not like the music at all--too loud and would have been better had it been a soft jazz or similar.

Lots of traffic near our table but did not really bother us--would have preferred a quieter location in the room.

Food was just outstanding!"
