"We haven't been to this Sullivan's in about 4 years. The place did not appear to have changed at all, but seemed to feel a bit run down. The menu seemed to have been scaled back as well, although that could just be a failing memory. The steaks were very good, but the sides were average. I don't think we will be back. Very expensive for an okay meal."

"We went here for Mothers Day and had a great meal. Many family groups were there and staff was very friendly, attentive, and efficient. The steaks were cooked perfectly. They also offered a breakfast selection for the brunch which many took advantage of."

"We had a wonderful time on Mother's Day. Our waitress was absolutely wonderful and very good with our table of six. The entire staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, due to the high prices though, we can only visit Sullivan's once or twice a year, but it sure is a wonderful time when we do go. We were VERY happy to see they now have a children's menu."

"Came with wife and daughter in celebration of Mother's day. Service was tremendous. People were polite and friendly and very attentive. Overall the food was excellent. The chilean sea bass in Hong Kong sauce was superb. My pepper crusted ribeye was just ok. The steak was tender but the taste was heavy cumin. Too much so. My wife's medalions of beef were well prepared also."

"Our reservations were on the blind We were pleasantly surprised/the atmosphere food & outstanding service we received The hostess suggested the calamari, since they aren't on the employee meal. It was excellent. The wines were plenty & great variety plus reasonably priced.
I had NY dry aged strip outstanding little on the salty side for my taste done Pittsburg style which was PERFECT Gorgonzola sauce which the server suggested PERECT AGAIN my husband's filet /mushrooms done exactly the way he likes it we were do full no time fur dessert we also arrived at 915 Tuesday and not once did we feel rushed to leave. This is a great steakhouse and is up there with the Old Homestead in AC n NYC. Server Seyward was top notch I would request her."

"Long time Sullivan's diner - disappointed with this past Sunday's meal. The last complaint I had was when they "dumbed down" their menu a little while back, removing my favorite escargot appetizer. Well, I've gotten over my heartache and continued to dine there. Thank goodness the dry aged New York strip special is almost a staple - can't help but order it every time. But with 5pm reservations (sat down to eat about 5:30pm), I didn't get out of there much before 8:00pm. Honestly, it was way too much time in between courses. I understand a need to unwind and take good food at an appropriate pace, but this was utterly ridiculous. I wasn't even hungry by the time my expensive steak arrived."

"We always enjoy eating at Sullivan's except this time. The general manager is super nice and the ambience is great. However, the food was lacking, the filet was charred on the sides and dry. Mashed potatoes were too peppery and even the shrimp tasted funny. It's probably one of those rare misses. I hope they do better next time."

"Was not impressed on this visit to Sullivan's, my steak arrived under cooked and was sent back only to be over cooked, as one of a party of six sending back not a option as I like eating along with the rest of my party. My Mother and Sister treated myself and family for my birthday, it is typically out of the norm for them to dine at Sullivan's even considering they live a few minutes away. Another issue was the one of the appetizers arrived with the salad, this would have not been a issue however it was to be served hot and by the time they finished their salad it had become cold and was not enjoyable."

"Sullivan's was a great restaurant experience-both in terms of food & the experience. I was a bit hesitant about going because I'm vegetarian (no meat, poultry or seafood) & thought that maybe my options would be limited. I was able to order from the appetizer & the side order menu & was very happy & full! The server was very helpful in telling me what menu items I would be able to eat given my dietary needs. "We loooove Sullivans for our big nights out (usually once a year)! This evening was just as fantastic. I was only dissapointed by the "giant" baked potato. It was $8 for just a plain old baked potato, that was way overcooked. If thats the worst thing though, life will go on. Next time we'll stick with the mashed. "My daughter, son-in-law and 8 month old granddaughter were with me. Our server was excellent - attentive and patient (gave us time to get situated with the baby) and knowledgeable about the wines. We all had the pre-fixed Filet - all were cooked perfectly. Thoroughly enjoyed the dinner. Our reservation was at 4 p.m. so it was too crowded with dinner guests."

"Our server was incredible and accommodated a few special requests without hesitation. I had one of the best Ceasar salads ever! Our group of six had excellent meals. The lamb was out of this world. One of the steaks was just a tiny bit overdone - but still tender. And two of us had the scallops; and they were delicious! So both seafood and meats are executed well. The noise level was just perfect - not too loud, but not silent either. It exuded an energy that kept the mood upbeat! The food was expensive but it was a special occasion; it was definitely worth the splurge!"

"We had a 7:30pm reservation on a Tuesday night and were not late. They certainly were not seated at capacity and were told it would just be a few minutes for our table. A few minutes turned into 30 & were seated just after 8pm. Our server was delightful, but the food was just average-good. I ordered my mushroomed stuffed filet medium, but it was mostly deep purple on the inside. Our Ceasar salads were good, but nothing extrodinary. My husband ordered the special porterhouse topped with loster & gorgonzola was tasty and cooked medium. The creamed spinach was room temperature and my husband's breaded mac and cheese was very trasy and hot. Our server had offered a dessert on the house as we were celebrating my birthday."

"Love the food here. Steaks cooked the way they should be. Drinks are definitely on the light pour side. We had to send ours back. Still wish this was a 1000 point open table like their KofP location. Manager said it costs too much. Considering from 5 til 6 with many empty tables having to spend a few bucks on Open Table for example 25 reservations which would be spending $25.00 for 25 reservations seems like a no brainer.
The place was empty guys!!!!Most 1000 point are for 5 o'clock reservations. Well the KofP Sullivan's manager along with Mile High understands the concept. Maybe the owner of the Wilmington location should have this manager sit down and understand the concept
of percentage of bottom line and see the dining room busy."

"This was out first visit, and we will definitely return for more fantastic food. The restaurant, from the outside, seemed to be dark, and secluded, as there were no windows seen from the street. Once inside the atmosphere was warm and romantic. The staff was friendly, and supportive with the wine selections and realizing that we were new to this establishment. Suggestions were spot on!
The steak was perfect, and the special sauces, and butter made them melt in your mouth with a pop of special flavors!
Thank You for a wonderful meal. Look forward to the next visit!"

"We were quite suprised that in a place that specializes in steak, our steaks were dry and overcooked. We sent them back and the second time they weren't overcooked but they weren't seasoned properly. We were also suprised that the manager did not come over to see if we were satisfied. We are use to fine dining and it is common for the manager to visit the table, especially when there is a problem with the meal. We have eaten at Sullivans on several occassions because we live in Delaware, but in the future we will take the drive to Philadelphia to patronize DelFrisco's instead."

"I was impressed with the menu; however, the price didnt exactly Match the quality. The meal was good but Ive had much better and didnt spend nearly as much. The waitress was a delight, but even that wasnt enough to Érase the fact that we spent almost $200 and Werent truly impressed. The presentation was lacking. A $40 steak should be dressed. When u spend that mind of money u expect an illusion at the very least. Applebees and ruby tuesday dress their plates better. This was my 1 year Anniversary and I cant say that this meal made it memorable.... It was ok, but so is ruby tuesday. If u havent been here, do yourself a favor and Save $50 by going to the texas roadhouse."

"this was my first time at Sullivan's, was given a gift card as a gift. the food was very good although my friend had to return her meal the the restaurant was very accomondating and she was pleased. I would definitely return to experience the bar and have appetizers. also although they didn't have a kids menu they had an option available and that was nice."
