"My family took a friend out for her birthday. Our entire experience was excellent. Our waiter was friendly and attentive. The food was delicious. 2 of us had the trout, 2 of us had the steak frites. The steak was prepared perfectly - I am frequently disappointed, even at high price steak restaurants, so this was appreciated. Those who had the trout said it was outstanding. We are already planning our next meal there and looking forward to it."

"A once great spot worthy of the high prices but no more. The only aspect of the evening which was excellent was the wonderful sever and her helpers. The food was average at best but wildly overpriced. My family and I have been going to Georges under several owners and names for years and I'd hate to see it fail because we are desperate for good places out here."

"We went for our anniversary, which incidentally was also Mother's Day . Certainly it was crowded, but ran very well. It was a bit noisy, understandably as there were many children present, but not unpleasant. The food was spectacular. The service was good, not over attentive, but the server tended to our needs. The BYOB policy on Sundays is a plus. Good wine list however."

"I took my mom to Georges for mothers day lunch the Friday before Mothers day. We had requested the patio because of the beautiful day. We were seated at the last table at the farthest part of the outside. My kids enjoyed the little waterfall but my mom & I were dismayed to see that 2 feet away from us was a broken table on the floor and a broken heat lamp leaning against the fence. The screen that was separating us from this view did nothing to hide it from view.
My mom's lunch - croque monsier - was very salty and my lobster/crab salad had too much hearts of palm and too little lobster and crab for the price. It was very disappointing."

"As usual, great service and the best burger on the Main Line. Excellent fine and casual dining...and consistency must be in their mission statement. Ask for Herman or Moez to be your server...your wish is their command. It's easy to become a regular at Georges' for lunch and dinner.
And the dining room next to the patio has terrific ambiance."

"Although the various dining rooms appeared inviting enough- some intimate with warm, earth tones and rustic French decor, others, sun-filled and outdoors,-the food did not hold up to the formidable reputation that the name Georges Perrier immediately calls up. At around 40 dollars a person, a buffet spread primarily consisting of your basic American breakfast fare proved to be a real let-down. The eggs Benedict were bland, French toast, on the dry side and tasteless, and standard sausage, bacon and bagels, just that; all ordinary. Yes, a complimentary glass of sparkling wine was included in the price, but added nothing more than a kind of culinary, Gallic shrug to this client's dining experience. And the service? Smoke and mirrors."

"We have been regulars at George's for a long time. The menu is the same, but the dishes have been changed, and the changes are for the worse. As an example, the field green salad had bland, chunks of mozzarella in it instead of the delicious goat cheese that is usually in it. The pizzas, which used to be delicate and light, yet full of flavor, were tasteless. They changed the crust and loaded lots of cheese on top, making the pizzas ordinary. We were told that George's has a new chef. It is understandable why a new chef would want to make his or her mark on the a menu, but why tweak recipes that are working? I never write restaurant reviews, but we were so disappointed and hope that someone at George's reads them."

"Very disappointing. The bread and the sauces were good. Otherwise nothing special. All three orders of halibut were overcooked but no waiter to tell that to. Service was odd. Our waiter was not to be seen especially at the end of the meal. I had to go to the hostess to ask for someone to take our coffee & dessert order which we then ordered from the man who explained the wines and specials at the beginning of the meal who earlier told us we had to order from the waiter and he would get him. The waiter never came until he dropped the check without a word to us. I have always wanted to eat at a George Perrier restaurant since I moved to this city 28 years ago. Now I wonder why.

"I wouldn't return to George's even if someone else was paying. Went for Easter Brunch, the brunch at Riverstone is ten times better. The salad bar and dressings were warm, dessert bar...lets just say they used some dessert toppings they had left over from Xmas, my cheese cake topper was flipped over an the other side was a snow man!!! The waitress had the entire room to wait on and she wasn't very pleasant about getting coffee or refilling a drink for my mother or I. One of the worst brunches I have had in a long time."

"The value proposition at Georges' is showing its age. It's always expensive for a suburban restaurant but not always worth it. Just to see how the bottom end fared, I ordered the cheapest entrée on the menu, a burger, medium rare, with fries at $18.00. When it arrived, the burger was overcooked on the outside and tartare-like in the inside. The fries would not have passed inspection at MickeyD's. Fortunately, my wife and our guests were pleased with their dishes.
The service needs work at Georges'. It was mostly slow, with some dishes arriving late. However, the waiter was knowledgeable, courteous and unobtrusive--qualities that are becoming more rare in upscale restaurants."

"My husband and I went to Georges' on a whim because I received a $25 off coupon through Birthday Pack. We had been there once or twice before, but it was a while ago. The food was really good! The staff was really friendly when we requested to change tables. We had reviewed the menu on the website prior to our arrival and the one drink that we both wanted to try was on the website version of the menu but no longer available at the restaurant. The server was very nice about it though. Overall, a wonderful night out at a great restaurant."

"Have enjoyed this restaurant for years for lunch with friends. However, this last trip was not very enjoyable because it was so cold in the bar area of the restaurant. We asked the hostess to please turn up the heat and she said she would but we sat there shivering through our entire meal. Brought this up with our server, as well, and were told that the heat was on. The hostess was also less than pleasant upon check in even though we had a reservation. So, will go back when it's warmer out!"

"Service was shoddy for the prices charged for a meal. Server took our order then never saw him again. The other staff didnt understand or speak english. Asked for a Beer refill and she didnt understand me.
Party of 4, we received 3 entrees then 1 entree for my wife 15 minutes later.

"My wife and I celebrated Valentine's Day at George's a day early, because she worked the evening of the 14th. We were seated in a tastefully decorated room, and promptly served wine by the glass. Our meals were beautifully prepared and delicious. We even took home a 'doggie bag'. The ambience was very enjoyable, despite the proximity of the parking lot. We've dined here before, and will again. "Two Thumbs Up""

Halfway through dinner. they seated another party right next to our table. Since the room was nearly empty, we were very surprised that they didn't put the party somewhere else in the dining room."

"Georges has become one of our favorite restaurants! The food is always great, the wine list superb, the ambiance both intimate and elegant, and the staff couldn't be more accommodating, especially restaurant manager, Michael!
This was our first experience at Sunday brunch and it was wonderful! Terrific selections on the buffet and special made-to-order items as well. Pair it with Georges private blend champagne or a bloody mary, good friends, and Sunday is a memorable experience!"

"We love George's - especially their Sunday Brunch. They have such a wonderful presentation and variety of fabulous brunch delights; eggs benedict, made-to-order omelette station, made-to-order pasta station, salad bar with salmon & cheeses, roast beef, short ribs, fish, chicken and always a special dessert table! "The restaurant was very croweded with a private party,but the service was top knotch and the food was great also. The deserts were a bit less perfect than the rest. The only reason for the less than 5 stars across the board is the noise. Just a bit louder than I would have liked."
