But food always good.....one time steak was slightly overcooked when ordered medium but otherwise very good, and they did offer to cook another filet ... but I declined ... as the steak was still tasty but not quite as juicy as filets ordered on other occasions. Often go to Sullivans and always enjoy the experience."

"This high-end steakhouse missed the mark just a little, perhaps because they were absolutely slammed on a Saturday night. Our server was great, personable, knowledgeable, and accurate but we had some lags due to the workload she had. The food was almost great but we knocked it down a star for overcooked shrimp on one entrée and an overly-salty rub on my meat.
Energetic is a term that does not do the noise level justice. Frenetic might be a better one. There was definitely some energy in the room."

"My husband and I had a nice dinner, but the server seemed to be a little off. Was confused at drink order and dinner order also.
We ordered off the $39 special menu, choosing the filet medallions and shrimp scampi. But when the dish came there was no shrimp on it. The dish was good and we decided it wasn't worth sending back, which is always time consuming. We do enjoy the special menus that Sullivan's has, especially for special occasions. It was still a very enjoyable evening."

"Sullivan's in Tucson is the perfect place to go for special occasions. My husband and I recently went there for our 41st wedding anniversary and had a tremendous dining experience. We were warmed greeted and wished a happy anniversary. We were treated like royalty. Our picture was taken and given to us as a memento in a card with all the staff signatures...even the chef! The service was outstanding and the food was remarkable. My husband's steak and my salmon were mouth-watering. I highly recommend Sullivan's in Tucson. We will definitely go back again and again and bring family/friends with us."

"Overall outstanding albeit a bit expensive. All four of us went with the 3 course meal for $40, with the men having a domestic beer and the ladies water and out the door was $230, with a $40 tip. So probably only somewhere we would go on special occasions, although I should have looked at the bar menu to see what was available there. Perhaps a bit too dark (heck getting old and trying to read a menu) inside the restaurant. Staff was energized and engaged. Would like to try the "cowboy" steak sometime."

"What a great way to enjoy dining, Sullivan's Gatsby themed night! My date and I had a blast getting ready and wearing our 20's era costumes, and it was a lot of fun to see the servers dressed up too. The food was tasty - my date raved about the dry aged steak all night, and our server Justin went above and beyond in taking care of our dining needs and making perfect recommendations."

"Sullivan's has a great rep, but after eating there, I will not visit again. The steaks & pasta were loaded with so much salt. They were like eating salt licks. The service was AWESOME; our wait or Eric was on it, friendly, professional and deserved a very nice tip, which he did get. The wine list is very well laid out. All the other staff seemed to work as a great team. But as I said, the food was so, so very salty. The steaks were done perfectly to their rareness, but just so salty... I should say, the food was very good, except for the over use of salt.... Otherwise, Sulllivans would have been give a 5 Star rating...."

"We had dinner on a Wednesday, so the restaurant was not crowded and the noise level was low. We order the $39 everyday three-co0urse selection which everyone thoroughly enjoyed. Service was spotty - slow to arrive at the table for drink orders and the salad was brought before we had finished our starter course. Very attentive otherwise. A very pleasant dining experience."

"Having been to several steakhouse's, I wanted to try somewhere new. I saw good reviews online about Sullivans sso chose this restaurant as the steakhouse of choice. Although I thoroughly impressed my first date with my choice of eatery for the evening, I almost had the wind knocked out of me when I saw the prices. The food was exceptional, and the service was second to none, but the prices seemed way to high."

"I thought Sullivan's Steakhouse was a little bit more upscale but I was very disappointed to see that there were men wearing shorts and flip flops. It was also wondering why the restaurant was so relaxed about dress code enforcement. Me and my husband made it a point to make reservations for Easter Brunch in a "nice" place and were happy to pay for an expensive menu but were a bit bothered by the fact that we could have chosen to our regular place, where we see the "casual Tucson attire" and pay a lot less."

"We really enjoyed the Easter Brunch. We arrived early, so it was quiet and our service could not have been better. Delicious soups (onion and bisque), generous main courses (beef hollandaise and meat loaf - 1/2 of which I enjoyed later at home), and lovely desserts. Huge slice of celicious cheesecake and lovely chocolate mousse.
We plan to try another meal here in the future."

"We went for Easter Brunch. The menu was extensive. Service was outstanding. One in our party ordered shrimp scampi that came out with a tasteless, garlic-less sauce. The staff dealt with this issue immediately and in an impressive manner. Even though one entree was disappointing, we would definitely go back again. The only real negative was the rather loud and in my opinion inappropriate music playing."

"Terrible service, we visit Sullivans once a month average for the last 8 years, last visit was the wrost. Male waitress very distracted, bad attitude, we were charged for a wine we didnt order, switching plates with other table, forgetting everyhing, and not kind. I beleive the supervisor noticed and apporach us to apologize. This is Sullivans, Tucson top, ihop service is better. Seems like they recently switched administration."

"We've eaten at Sullivan's a few times. It has always been a love/hate situation. It seems like some things are excellent and others are lacking. The waitress became pushy after it took us a while to order. She finally pushed the menu into my stomach. I didn't appreciate that while I was talking to my wife. We ordered the special seafood sampler for an appetizer. We had it previously and it was quite good. This time it was different. The shrimp were smaller and quite dry. I get better shrimp at Costco. The other items including the crab claws were just not up to par. The filet mignon was another story. It was hot and delicious. The coconut cream pie for desert is awesome. It would be nice if Sullivans was more consistent."

"The meal is always wondeful at Sullivans - one of my favorites, especially for Steak. The whole dinner was great until we got a Choc cake desert - very dry. The waiter took it off the bill and offered something else, but we were in the mood for chocolate. The second one was dry as well, but not as bad.

"My wife had the lamb chops with the mushroom caps side dish. She did order the lamb well done,but it came mostly charged,very over done and no flavor.The caps were very soggy and mushy. We generally go to Michael Angelos for the lamb and she orders the same way and it is tender and tasty. I ordered the Rib Eye Steak medium. It was just light pink in the center and dry. There was no evidence of any juice on the plate which indicates to me it was more well done than medium and had little flavor. This was our first experience at Sullivan's and we really enjoyed the at mophere and were treated royaly,but the food was not worth the price. night for the chef."
